Holiday Inn Laramie - Laramie

For a hotel this new why is it so difficult to have a decent wifi system? A little disappointed that no breakfast of any sort is included for a hotel of this type. A discount next door at Perkins on limited options pales in comparison to lesser area hotels where breakfast is at least continental.

Hotel was full. Kids running down the halls after midnight; loud TV noise. Rooms are not well noise-insulated. Heat/AC unit is very noisy, could not sleep. Lobby is nice though.

My husband and I took our daughter to the University of Wyoming for a cheer clinic and an unofficial visit and the basketball game Saturday night. We have never been to Laramie so we had no idea where to go or eat or to explore. The hotel is pet friendly so we were able to bring our Chihuahuas aka our 4-legged children. The staff was so helpful telling […] us the easiest way to get to UW, where to park there, what time to go to the game, where to eat and all about the school. It was one of the best experiences we have ever had in a hotel. I own a house cleaning company in Denver and found the rooms to be very clean- which says a lot with my higher than normal expectations. Had to make the resevation very quickly. Excellent hotel, hotels.com was very easy to use. Everything was ready when we arrived. Perkins off the side of the hotel was great to work with on food delivered to our room at a very reasonable cost. Overall great experience.

Being away from home and not having access to a computer/smart phone, it was such a pleasure to be able to use the business center to confirm our airline reservations and print our boarding passes without having to pay for internet time, and paper. What a great service this is to your customers, I wish all hotels provided this.

Our room was not ready for hours past the advertised check-in because previous guests had been permitted late check-out. We were not given prior notice of this and, as a result, were unable to prepare for the engagement which brought us to Laramie! Everything about this hotel was nice and new, but I rankted them "1" for comfort because of the pillows. In a king size bed, they had four little square pillows that looked nice when the bed was made, but were terrible to use. I was up most of the night tossing and turning. We had a non-smoking room and it smelled like stale cigerettes. We had to change rooms and it was not a problem with the staff. It was much better, the only problem is when we made coffee with the little pot and went to use the creamer, I'm not sure how long it had been since it was changed because it was all stuck together. My wife, son, and I along with our dog had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We found the beds especially comfortable. The location was great and within walking distance to the school shuttle. the restaurant in the hotel had good food and service at reasonable prices. Supermarket, and other eating places were within walking distance. The hotel is new and very the staff is very pleasant.

Upscale amenities and wonderful, friendly staff. This compares well to the 4-star hotels I've stayed at on the "Gold Coast" in Chicago. Who would have thought such a gem would exist in a small college town, near the campus no less. Wish I could have stayed longer.

While a little farther from I-80 than I wanted (about 2-3 miles)...not a big deal. The hotel was worth it...very new and clean...rooms were very nice with a lot of great amenities. Compared to the Motel 6 I had been staying in this felt like a palace!
