The hotel is well located, but it is awful. We were a group of three, and were put in a room that was not only quite unclean (there was a 2 mm film of dust under the bed), but also was quite run-down (the shower door handle was missing, the door frame of the bathroom was unhinged and stripped of paint, and the room door had a hole --yes a hole--). This […] for almost $ 270 a night, ridiculous! We felt cheated, really. We had to be changed rooms twice until we were placed in a semi-inhabitable room. Also, breakfast (a sandwich per person --if you are lucky: we only got one overall the second day), a juice and a fruit) comes in a bag that they hang from your door knob. Very noisy hotel too. Good value overall. Location was great and the bag breakfasts were adequate. We stayed in a family room 4th floor. the elevator goes only to 3rd floor. not a problem but if elderly or large bags, might be difficult getting up the spiral staircase. There was some street noise into the early morning hours from a club on the same street so if you need […] silence you probably should insist on an interior room. The hotel is perfectly located in the local restaurant/ bar neighborhood (so not in the touristy-expensive area), which is anyways 5-10min walk to everywhere you want to visit in Bergen. The hotel is close to the Cathedral and other areas of interest. The shower drain in our bathroom was clogged and the shower flooded every time we used it. Other than that they delivered us breakfast every morning and the service was very good.

One of the few reasonably priced hotels in town, it was surprisingly pleasant. They actually serve a sack breakfast that is delivered to your room. This was quite handy as I had planned a fjord excursion leaving early in the morning. I could simply take my meal with me.

Unless you need a hot brekkie, this is the best deal in Bergen. I used the supplied breakfast (hung on the doorknob at 6am, a meat and cheese sandwich, orange, and apple juice) for my lunch each day. Easy to carry, basic and nutritious. Take the bus from the airport to the Radisson and walk 2 blocks to the hotel -- for 100nok, instead of a 355nok taxi […] ride. Clean, warm, convenient, and (relatively, for Beren) inexpensive. I asked for a quiet room and got one one the top elevator floor with a view of the courtyard. Dead quiet. It was 2 blocks away from everything. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was well kept and comfortable. There was complementary coffee and tea in the lobby all day long and the breakfast sandwiches delivered in the morning were a nice treat.

We requested a double bed over the phone and were assured that we would receive it. Upon arrival, we changed rooms 3 times because they kept assigning a room with 2 twin beds. We had to wait a half hour for the reception to check all available rooms for a double bed. The rooms are very minimalistic and OK for only one night., they were not unclean, […] but they were not kept in good condition. We had a major problem with the booking. I had understood that there would be a bedroom with 2 twin beds plus a living room area with a couch that would sleep an additional 2 people. What we found was 1 large room with both the 2 beds and pull out couch all in the same room. There was seating for only 2. We had to get chairs and a table and bring it […] up to the room ourselves. Furthermore, the part of the hotel that we stayed in was across the street from the main hotel with the front desk. This would not have been such an issue had there been a phone in our room, but there wasn't. The only way to contact he front desk was to go downstairs and across the street. This was particulary disturbing on the last night of our stay when the fire alarm went off at 5 a.m. and wouldn't stop. There was no information given from the management and we were left to wonder whether or not we should be getting out of bed and going outside. In the end, it was a false alarm, but we never heard a word about it from management. All that being said, once we got used to 4 adults sharing a single room, the room itself was clean and comfortable and the location was very convenient. Clean and comfortable. The "breakfast" consisted of a ham and cheese sandwich with not much of either, an apple and a juice box. After a day or two, I couldn't face another of the sandwiches. They do have coffee/tea in the lobby 24/7, laundry facilities and they are in a good location with places to buy groceries, take-out food nearby.

Great location. Very central. Walking distance to all the main attractions in Bergen. We walked from the train station (15minutes). Rooms were smallish but clean and satisfactory. A bit pricey but that`s Bergen for you. Worth it though. Well worth a visit.

I was very happy with the location and quality of this hotel...it's truly a steal for the price. It's right in the city center, only a couple of blocks from some of the priciest options in town and a short walk to the waterfront/Bryggen area. The room was nicely appointed and up-to-date and the daily breakfast delivered to the door was very convenient. […] My only lower mark on comfort is because the weather was warm (mid-70s) and the window would only open 1 inch so it was very stuffy at night. Slighly above a motel 6 in USA. Noisy bar below until 3AM. Great location. Close to fish market and close to the SAS bus that picks and drops you off for airport. Hotel is easy to find. Within walking distance from the main train station in Bergen. Bag breakfast provided at your door in the morning. Great for taking with you and eating later in the day. The hotel was easy to find, only 2 blocks from the airport bus stop, right in the center of Bergen's downtown near all the tourist sights. Our room was very comfortable, clean and warm. The bed was comfortable and had nice blankets. The bathroom even had a heated tile floor. There were TV channels available in English. They leave a breakfast sandwich, […] a juice box and a piece of fruit in a bag in front of your door in the morning. They have tea and coffee available in the lobby. Check-in, check-out was smooth. They let us leave our bags with the reception desk the next day until the late afternoon with no problem. The location was really excellent. I considered less expensive hotels farther out from the city center, but now that I have been to Norway I see I wouldn't really have saved any money because the bus and taxi fares are so expensive anyway. Room was the smallest room and run down furniture we had in Norway. You could hear anyone in the rooms above or next to you. The neighborhood was good-near places to eat. OK if you are just crashing for one night but would not stay longer then that.

We arrived late in the evening, tired from driving most of the afternoon and evening. The hotel room was very noisy with drunk people on the street below. We did not feel very safe going out to get something to eat so we immediately returned to the hotel. We had to have the music on in our room all night just to drown out the noise from the street. […] Our TV did not work. We opened the roof top window and dead bugs fell on our bed. In the morning we took our showers in the bathroom that had black mold on the walls and ceiling. When I mentioned it to the hotel clerk he said he would close down the room for repairs but did not offer any reimbursement. When I asked he said I would need to email the hotel.
