The Fairmont lived up to its promise once more. The amentities, cuisine and staff all contributed to the demands of my stay superbly.

Stayed at the Econo Lodge for two nights during a recent stay in Calgary. The hotel was an older building, but the rooms were clean and actually very quiet considering that the hotel was located right on McLeod Trail. It was very conveniently located for everything we were doing in SW and SE Calgary and getting to downtown was very easy. The only think I was a bit disappointed in was the state of the pool area and the exercise room. The exercise facility was very small with only three pieces of equipment, one of which..the recumbent bike was broken. The jacuzzi hot tub was only luke warm, but this may have been because it wasn't used much and was off for a long period of time. It took quite a while to warm up and never did get really hot. The continental breakfast was just the basic fare, although not much different from what is offered in most other budget hotels. All in all we had a pleasant two day stay in this hotel and considering the lower cost of our room, we would certainly stay here again in the future.

"Not Good for a 7:00 am flight"
The direct route from the Hotel to the airport in Calgary has been PERMANENTLY CLOSED. A lot of construction going on in the area. The alternative route to the airport takes you through a lot of traffic and increased time. No one mentioned this when reserving the room at Hotels.com.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

WE have stayed in this hotel two previous times so this trip makes three. We continue to come back because the hotel is clean, convient and the staff we encountered once again were excellent , they always seem to make our stay a little more personal. "Cozy in Calgary"
We were warm and cozy in the hotel, when stormy conditions forced the closure of Highway #1. Staff were gracious, sympathetic and helpfull with all the stranded travelers. "Ideal for long distrance travellers arriving late"
We found this hotel to be great; a large room with two queen beds, mini kitchen with a microwave (but no microwave cookware) and fridge. "Convenient to airport"
We choose this hotel as our flight was arriving in late and we didnt want to have to travel far that night to a hotel. The hotel complementary shutle collected us from the airport and we were waiting for only 10 minutes or so. They then dropped us back to the hotel the next morning so that we could collect our car rental. We could not fault this hotel […] and the staff were friendly and helpful. This Holiday Inn Express was excellent. Spotless, friendly hotel staff and a very well kept room. Everything a tired traveller could wish for. The only minor and it was minor is that they did not have a restaurant in the hotel but in the hotel located about two hundred yards away they had a Moxies which was convenient. The road from the airport to the hotel was closed, so it took actually quite a lot time to get to the hotel and it was not convenient. The pool was unavailable while our stay so I rate 3 overall. The staffs working there were helpful though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
