Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites West Edmonton - Edmonton

I was surprised by the tidiness of our room specially the innovations the housekeeper was using to decorate the towels. It was very convenient to stay with an 18 month old baby!

The hotel was clean and the desk clerks friendly. I did however find that it was expensive and I didn't like that check-in was so late

Toilet was running all night, we told the Front Desk staff - they did nothing about it. We arrived early for check in (3pm) - they told us our room wasn't ready, they were give rooms to every other persom after us. They told us to wait in the lobby for 15 minutes, which we did with all of our bags after 15 minutes we went back to the desk and then were […] told we'd have to wait until after 4pm. This hotel is great for families - with PPV movies, a swimming pool, and easy access to shopping, restaurants, and WEM this is an awesome hotel to stay at.

Really enjoyed the stay -poor quality of food in restaurant, but the staff great -pool very small -We did not have a car, therefore costly in cab fare as there was nothing (ie restaurants) in the area -However, the room and the staff made our stay enjoyable

Would not eat at restaurant, pricing outrageous for what you get. Service is slow and food cold. No hot water at 8:00 pm for shower, hot pool is luke warm.

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. It is very modern and absolutely beautiful. It has large bathrooms and very comfortable beds. It didn't come with a complimentary breakfast but has a restaurant that served very good breakfasts at a reasonable price! The food was presented very nicely and an obvious effort was made in the food preparation. […] Kudos to the chef! I would definitely stay here again! No problems at this hotel - would recommend.

Hotel was great. Room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu is oddly laid out and confusing to understand, and the service in the evening was quite slow ( but it was great the next morning, so who knows.). Overall it was everything I need and would stay there again any time.

The staff was very friendly. There was a couple trays of room service left overs that were left in the corridor across from hour room all night although it didn't bother me it was still a little gross. The room was clean and comfortable but very warm. Even with the window open it was too hot almost all night.

its an excellent hotel good service n clean had no issues whats so ever but its the located in industrial area worked out best for us cuz mall was 5min from there other than that it was good

Everything is new and clean and it's easy to get to West Edmonton Mall as well as Rexall Place. Definitely staying there again.

Enjoyed the spacious and clean room. Would definately stay anytime again.

Extreemley poor service, the worst I have ever experienced. First we couldn't get a microwave to heat our daughters bottles, we could only get one of we upgraded to a suite and of course paid the upgrade price. Then when we were discussing what to do about that we were told that we could always go to another hotel. That was bad enough but the attitude […] was a too bad for you attitude, the staff very blunt about to the point of being rude. Then we needed change for the vending machine because the bill acceptor in the machine was broken and at the front desk it was NO Sorry we don't have any change, we might be able to give you all quarters( to change a ten dollar bill). We requested a crib, again No Sorry we don't have any, still carrying the same I don't care attitude. Customer service is NOT thier top priority there. We ordered room service, we tried 3 different dishes, none of which they could give us because they were no longer serving them, apparantly we had an old menu in our room. So then I asked for waffles with strawberries , was told no, that's not on the menu, so ordered french toast and guess what.... my french toast came with strawberries, hmm that wasn't listed on the menu. At check out the front desk wanted to charge us not only for our room service but for our room as well, our room was paid for when we booked with hotels.ca, I had to tell them that so that they would look again and notice that it was paid, then got an 'oh, sorry I messed up " from the clerk. Needless to say, this was my first and last stay at this hotel, I have never experienced such TERRIBLE service anywhere, ever. Read more

The Holiday Inn West Edmonton was a good place to stay, comfortable beds and convenient access to Highway 16 and the West Edmonton Mall. They also have a very good restaurant with good food and good service.
