      Immaculate, most charming, a long way to go from London but well worth it. We would stay there again, it is a total wounderful surprice. I would recomment it to all my friends.Love it!!!

      I only stayed at Wisteria for one night, I was doing a short trip to Stonehenge, so I wasn't there very long, but I really like the accommodation. It is a little outside of town, but it is actually pretty easily accessible by bus, the 7x, which I did not realize when I came in so I took a cab. Do your homework beforehand. I had a single room, and it was a nice size and good shower/facilities. There is no TV in the room, but there was a nice lounge area with a TV, games, tea kettle, et al. Felicity made the stay very easy and I can't say enough about her: I left my phone in my room and had a very short period of time before I was going to be leaving London. She worked with me by phone and email to overnight the phone to my London hotel before I left the UK. Highly recommend!

I looked around at staying in some of the other accomms int he area, however was put off by the old-fashioned designs of them all (floral curtains/floral bedding etc).     There was a delay on check in as only one staff member present and three groups of guests needing service but everything else absolutely fine and we would happily stay again. I forgot to mention air conditioner /heater not working correctly as it needed maintenance or repair but a small fan heater was in the room.

    We were arriving early evening for something light to eat, somewhere to sleep and have breakfast and to leave at 8:30am for a sailing course. The hotel met our needs fine - space to park, nice sized room and bathroom, clean and friendly. We were undemanding guests and so did not test out service quality etc to any extent.

    Arriving from the train station with 2 small children, it was fairly easy to get about Poole from the hotel, either walking, train or bus (the bus station was 5mins walk away). We were facing the main road but had no problems with any noise. We did eat one evening in the hotel restaurant but whilst the food was ok, it took ages to come out and I think […] expensive for what we had. Breakfast was ok too, nothing amazing!     Reminded me of hotels your find on motorways in europe , will a strong smell of smoke just inside reception area. Staff were good but this hotel has nothing to offer for comfort or business. my first and last visit will stay in Bournemouth next time

    Overall this was a good hotel, but my only bugbears were that the mattress was very soft, my towels had stains on them and my room door was by an internal door, so I could hear it bang open everytime someone walked through it.

    The hotel is well located and the city shoping streets are accessible in short walking distance. Unfortunately the noise from the surounding street was quite hight and the room smelt as somebody smoked in it.

    Room was ok, reception staff very pleasant, what let the hotel down was the way breakfast was served. It was help yourselves for everything including coffee from a sachet which is shameful and asking for bacon for breakfast and told they do NOT do bacon, come on Holiday Inn it would be better to charge room only if you can't be bothered.

    fantastic - there is so much to see in dorset and this hotel was an excellent base. perfect if, like us you need somewhere that is comfortable but still affordable. in particular the shower was excellent and the breakfast was quite sumptuous.

    We four members of family stayed there prior to going to Gurnsey. There was double bed and one sofa bed . Double bed was fine. sofa bed was not that good. But just for one night is ok. Breakfast was ok .Plenty of Sasuges(I think they were frozen) and plenty of Crossiants and other stuff. Overall I rate it good due to 4 pepole coud stay on. Not many […] places accomadate 4 in rooom. So I recomend it for 3 or for people. Read more

    The room we stayed in was very clean and spacious and buffet breakfast in the morning was fabulous. Our heating in the room was not working so we had cause to complain at reception - the receptionist activated secondary heating for us within a few minutes so pleased with service.

    After booking Hotel I looked up reviews they all were very poor,when my Wife and I arrived we were very pleased to find the Hotel comfortable,well serviced,clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.Although the Hotel shows signs of wear and tare still good value for money I have a wedding in March next year and will be booking in with my family

    Just a few damaged tiles in the bathroom, even though the room was very recently modernised/newly built. The WC did not flush very effiicienty so there was always a bit of paper, etc that did not flush away: surely a design fault? Otherwise excellent. Thank you,

    The room was ideal for us and our two young boys. The staff were very friendly and were happy to provide information on the local restaurants etc. the hotel was clean and tidy and the breakfast provided catered for all the family.
