nice, clean hotel, very close to falls although no view from hotel indoor pool wasn't open at the time we were there workout room open 24/7 nice restaurant attached to hotel

I've stayed here about 6 times over the last 20 years or so, as well as a lot of other hotels in the Falls (I go there every year). Still the best, mostly due to the location. My only complaint is the selection of TV channels is poor (not much to watch) but I'm usually too busy to watch too much TV anyway. If you dont need a hotel room with a view of the falls then this hotel is the place to stay. Compared to a lot of the other big name hotels right near the falls, this was definitely the best bang for the buck. The falls are about a 5 minute walk down the hill. We were there on a Friday night and were able to see the fireworks they do on Friday nights […] and made for a nice romantic time with my wife as it was her birthday that day. Parking is free which is also a huge plus as it seems like parking can be a pain in the downtown Falls area. A lot of the other hotels besides being more expensive, also charged for parking as well which definitely made this hotel a winner for me. The only complaint I have about this place and its a very miniscule complaint is that it was an older style tv - boob tube style. I was hoping for an HD tv that I could have hooked my laptop into. Nice place small compared to all the big ones in the area. I liked the free parking and food near by.

We got a room on the first floor near the elevator and back door to the hotel. We were unable to sleep all night due to foot traffic in and out of the hotel and up and down the elevator. The back hotel door slams really hard everytime someone enters or leaves the hotel. Very unhappy with our stay. However, the location is great. I always try to balance a good price with good quality. I won't pay for top of the line hotels but I won't stay at the bargain basement either. Having said that, I have never been more pleased with my choice than I was with my stay at Holiday Inn Niagara Falls (Canada)! I rated everything a 5 except for maintenance. (A screw had fallen out of the door […] strike plate.) Otherwise the room was great and the pools were fantastik. Breakfast was only average but the convenience was very nice. It was the cheapest option we found for the next day to visit the Falls, and it was GREAT. We love Holiday Inn. We were 4 in one room. Beds were big and comfortable. Room was extremely nice. Close to the Falls - 5 min or less walk down to the falls - 10 to 15 minutes uphill back. Nice hotel for the money. Breakfast Buffet was so-so. Just a general heads up for any one traveling in Canada the taxes are crazy!!!! Plan an extra couple of hundred just for taxes. That is why they advertise everything with the $price not including tax. ($11.00 […] plus tax) The motel overall had a nice pool area and exercise room and had great customer service folks at the front desk - eager to help. Room was clean and comfortable. A nice touch of having a choice of soft or firm pillows. It did appear that there was only one washer and dryer for the entire hotel. The hotel is aging but is well taken care of at this time. The layout overall of the room was good, our view was not the best (dumpsters) but we were able to see the Skylon and the fireworks from our room. A suitcase holder would have been nice, but we did have plenty of bureau room. The bathroom was kept nice and clean and you had a lovely assortment of hair products. Things we would like to see, more then one washer and dryer. Kleenex in the room. Our room was down two light bulbs. Wi-Fi was hit or miss depending on where you sat in the room. Fridge without charging for it. We used alot of ice because of this. TV was older which wasn't a viewing issue, but we enjoy viewing our digital pictures at the end of the day and we did not have a hook up on the TV for this. Excellent customer service. Free parking . Very close to the Fall. The hotel looks very beautiful except they don't have flat screen tv, microwave and refrigerater.

the pool wan't as nice as I would have expected for a Holiday Inn. It was small and sandy. We stayed there with 3 small children hoping for the buffet breakfast that was advertized outside and once checked in we were told they didn't have one. Other then that it was fine

Friendly service and very helpful. Allowed us to check in early.

The location was great - walking distance to the Falls, Skylon Tower and lots of attractions and restaurants. Room was "surface" clean, but didn't have to look far to find dust. Hair in the bathtub when we arrived. AC unit in room was clearly old and made a lot of racket. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work - which probably accounted for the musty smell […] in the room. Toilet broke twice and maintenance staff left the overflowed water on the floor - had to clean it up with hotel towels myself. Most of the TV channels listed in the booklet didn't work. Racks of dirty towels and room service dishes often sitting in the hallway by elevator/stairs. This is not at all what I expected at a Holiday Inn. Read more

Check in was great and the front desk was very helpful with any question one had. I can't wait to go back the pool was great had in door and out door which was a plus and very clean and the bed was so good lol maid me want to sleep for ever. And Coco's was the place to eat. Nice room. Hotel great for kids had two pools; one outdoor and one indoor. Close walk to Falls and Casino.

We have 3 children so it was difficult to get a hotel that allowed all of us together without having to get a second room. We were very comfortable and we appreciated the bathroom set up (sink inside and out of toilet/ shower area). We wish someone would have told us about the fireworks display only on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights. We wish we […] had had more time, but we had only about 18 hours before leaving. Parking was included in lot behind hotel. It was a bit of a walk Friday night but we moved the car closer later easily. Read more

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. THE TILES IN THE LOBBY ENTRANCE WERE CRACKED. SHOULD SUPPLY ROOMS WITH MINI REFRIGERATOR.

Clean room, good service, good breakfast buffet, great pizza, beds a little too firm for our liking. Great having two pools - kids loved it! Steep hill coming back from falls, but best kept secret is the $2 rail ride just west of the casino across the street from this hotel! Takes you right down to the Visitor Center and back up - well worth it!

I was very pleased with this hotel. The location and price were great.

THIS WAS A GREAT VALUE AND VERY CLOSE TO THE FALLS. (ABOUT 1 BLOCK AWAY) THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND THE STAFE WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH SUGGESTIONS ON FOOD AND DIRECTIONS TO AREA ATTRACTIONS.

The room was very nice and clean. Carpet are pretty new too. Hotel is so convenient to walk to Niagara Fall, Dinning, shopping, and even a dollar store near by. We went with mom who is 85 years old, she walked with us to watch Niagara Fall all three days without trouble becaue the location is so great and easy to access.

- no complimentary breakfast - have to walk uphill from the falls - outdoor pool was under repairs but the indoor pool/jaccuzzi were nice - very helpful front desk staff - not enough parking - one of the closest hotels to the falls

Close to the falls and the casino. Everything was perfect except for a few burned out light bulbs which they fixed imediatly when we told them.

The hotel itself was nice, we stayed over a saturday night however the first floor rooms are probably the worst place to be.... #1 the amount of people coming off the elevator / talking while going by your door is extremely annoying and interrupted my sleep a couple of times. Room was nice and clean, what we look for in a motel, and the decor was pleasant. Unfortunately the bed was extremely hard and we had a terrible night sleep. Had a better sleep in the chair. Now that was comfortable. Unfortunately, we didn't reserve the chairs... we were very disappointed in the "ultra firmness" of the bed. I was pleased with impeccable service. The place was so clean and comfy. Reception desk was so much willing to provide info that I needed. They were well educated, and well trained. They knew what to say, and how to respond to questions from a guest. It was less than one minute walking distance to the Tower, and Coco restaurant within the holiday inn […] was awesome. The Hotel is showing its age but overall it was very comfortable. The location was good, only a 20 minute walk to Clifton Hill. One issue is parking, the hotel shares the parking lot with public parking and when we arrived at 3:00 PM to check in, there was no parking spaces available but it did empty out soon enough toward the end of the day.
