Friendly staff. Nice clean well kept rooms. We recently rented 2 suites for nine people for a girls night out. We went to the Wilson Phillips concert at The Fire Lake Grand. The band also stayed at the same place. In the morning met Carnie and Wendy Phillips at free breakfast(which was really good). Thanks, had a great time! Mary C. From Enid ok.

Hotel staff seemed to be barely keeping up, and at least in my case the shower head needed to be treated for calcium deposits, but overall they got it done in a professional and friendly manner and the stay was comfortable.

Front desk lady was very nice and friendly. Carpets are worn and stained, but rest of room was clean. Room was very comfortable - enjoyed the frig and microwave. Decent breakfast. Four staff members out front smoking when we drove up doesn't look nice.

We had a room that was no smoking, but right across the hall was smoking. The hallways didnt smell good at all. My daughter got a pop from the machine and it tasted like cigerette smoke.

I have stayed at this hotel for the past 4 years (each a week) and this was the worst ever. I would have never stayed anywhere else because of my previous stays but this year was much different. The hotel was filthy from the hallways to the room. Management said they are having major trouble with keeping personel in housekeeping. That is definetly the […] truth. It all started when I was placed in a room that had not been cleaned by housekeeping from the previous guest, who were there for atleast a week. They were nasty pigs because that room was wrecked. There was food all over the floor, dressers, and mirrors. There was also blood on the bathroom floor. At 10pm, Myself (which I am 6months pregnant) and kids (7yrs&5yrs) cleaned everything up except they wouldnt let me vacuum because of the other guests. We were assured to have it thoroughly cleaned the following morning. Well, I packed all of my stuff into one corner so it would be easier to clean. Upon arriving back at the room, it had not been cleaned. We also had no water due to something torn up and being repaired. The third day we came back from being gone we didn't have water due to a city problem. This trip just didn't seem to work out very well. At checkout, we still had coffee in the coffee maker from the guest before us. Holiday Inn needs to get this problem resolved because it is ruining there returning customers. Every hotel in Shawnee is booked during the week of the IFYR at the Expo Ctr so it could be a great loss for them. Read more

I had stayed in this hotel before and was very impressed with all the amenities. The room is large and well equipped and I love the shower. The people at the desk are friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast has lots of selections. For the money this is a good deal!
