Really, the only negative was a 4-inch-round area of carpet that had probably been destroyed by a previous guest. Other than that one thing, the hotel was terrific. It was quiet, clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. I will go back there again (probably as soon as next week).

My husband and I stayed in Minot recently for business. The staff at the Holiday Inn Express were amazingly helpful and accommodating. We liked them very much. Everything else was business travel standard. Rooms were ok. continental breakfast was edible (though not terribly great), location was central.

No fridge, no microwave. TV remote didn't work. Elevator was broken. Breakfast was horrible.

We had a pleasant experience. The only slight downside was the thin walls. A door shutting somewhere else would make our wall shudder. I could also hear the neighbors through the vent in the bathroom. Nothing major, just not a sign of a quality, solidly built building... Great breakfast and delightful staff!

I usually have a great experience with Holiday Inn and Suites. This time The front desk clerk was a little rude. When we checked out the elevator didn't work. I have bad knees and it was a long walk down the stairs.

I had no problems other than there being too much clorine in the hot tub and one of the elipticals was not working properly. Breakfast was good!

Great location for visitng family nearby. Good breakfast and the servers kept the food stocked throughout the breakfast period. Hotel was not noisy as one might expect with the economic boom taking place and increased traffic.

Very clean and comfortable. I usually have a hard time sleeping when out of my home but I slept great. Breakfast wasn't the best quality food but it wasn't bad. It's extremely filling and saved my family $20 a day in meals- well worth it! The staff was pleasant, particularly the "breakfast lady".

Some hair in tub but overall room seemed clean. Would have been nice if suite would have had door between couch seating area and bed since we have a small child and had trouble visiting with him sleeping

We loved this hotel and would definately stay at a Holiday Inn Express after staying at this one. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and they even brought a rollaway in for us when our son stayed with us. We would recommend this hotel to others who want a great clean hotel.

Convenient location; very nice, clean rooms; great breakfast buffet! For the price paid, a microwave and fridge should be included in each room. This was the first hotel I have stayed at in a very long time that did not have a mic/fridge in the room.

Holiday Inn Express and Suites, South Minot is a good value for your dollar. The hotel is located in an area of Minot that is under new developement . A new Walmart is across the street and several restaurants are in the progress of being built. With a rental car, Minot Shopping Mall is a very short drive to the north. The Badlands Restaurant is new […] and is located in the mall area. The steaks here are good and the decor is Western. All in all our stay at the Holiday Inn express was without any issues. I stayed at this hotel and had a complaint about the maid service. The staff was not accommodating, and the management never returned my phone calls about my complaint. I felt that once they had my money from Expedia, my needs were not taken seriously. Do not recommend staying here--there are much friendlier hotels in Minot.

My husband and I stayed in a Jr. suite at the Holiday Inn Express in Minot North Dakota for our 5th Wedding Anniversary. It was very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was great and the staff very accommodating. The only complaint we had was that the suite was on the second floor right over the main entry to the hotel. I will never stay at any other hotel in Minot. It's right across from Wal Mart and 3 or 4 places to eat. About a mile away from the mall and movies! Perfect location! Everyone was very nice, and the hotel room was much more the expected! I called ahead, my plane arrived early, and they let me check in 5 hours early. Very nice!

We have never stayed in an Express but certainly would again. It was very nice, the bed was one of the best of any hotel we have stayed in, and the breakfast was wonderful. I would suggest that someone vacuum the carpet in elevator as was dirty and carpet needed replacing but the rest of the hotel was great!

The stay was very good. The hotel was easy to get to and it is close to the mall plus very close to Walmart. The people were very courteous. We had forgotten some medication in our room. When I called about i, the medication was retrieved and sent to the airport for us.

I was concerned about sheets not being changed -wrinkled, not fresh, found hair on them. The continental breakfast was good but utility was cleaned up before the time stated so we missed it the first day. We were there before the end time stated.
