Great hotel...nice touch with the French press coffee..beds are extremely comfortable, very quiet. I was only scheduled to stay here 1 night and I extended my stay for an additional night because I liked the hotel so muchGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great place to stay!"
Very nice rooms and in a great location. Had a wonderful stay. Staff was great and the place was clean and in excellent condition. Best in-room hotel coffee ever!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Highly recommended. A little spendy but worth it. We stayed in the new addition and it was very clean and quiet.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great location in the heart of Anacortes"
Friendly staff, clean rooms, fresh press coffee, overall a great stay. not super quiet though if that's important to you.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room was ready but we found seveal issues, only one bath towel, shower had no knob to turn on and did not find that until the next morning. No water pot to boil water.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Quaint hotel downtown but noise can be a problem."
We stayed overnight before catching the ferry to Friday Harbor. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing Commercial Ave. Room was small but very comfortable and well appointed. However it was Fri. Nite and the noisy bar across the street made sleep tough until about 2 am. For dinner we went downstairs to the bar thinking we might eat at the bistro in the […] hotel but could not get anyone to wait on us. So we went to the Mexican place across the street instead and dinner was excellent. In room coffee is a nice French press and they give you a pack of freshly ground on arrival. Nice touch, but the hot water maker didn't work. We went to Starbucks in the morning instead. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Room with a view"
We could see Mt. Baker and the harbor from our balcony. This particular room was quite large and very comfortable with 2 double beds. Lots of character. The hotel is lovely. We enjoyed our stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
Only stayed one night so did not use the spa . The hotel is clean, very beautiful and in a great location in downtown and walking distance to the harbor. We were in the new addition and found the entrances to be confusing and did not have a pleasant way to get to the main building for the restaurant and bar. There is a garden area that may turn into […] this in the future but it did not appear to be finished or well planned. The only complaint for the room itself were the bed pillows. All were very firm and too thick for my comfort. I would not go back withouty own pillow. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel downtown site"

"Nice hotel. Noisy room by the stairs."
Charming hotel with fabulous breakfast food. We arrived late evening to find our room next to the stairs. It wasn't a problem until we were all settled in ready for bed and we could here people stomping up and down the stairs. I wondered what those earplugs in the bathroom were for! Otherwise bed was comfy and hotel staff was friendly. Overall would […] stay here again but not by the stairs. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We love staying here! It's new and clean and quiet! Plus the restaurant in the hotel is dynamite! Delicious food and great service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The heart of Anacortes"
Very pleasant and leisurely.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice room in the newer addition. Only issue was a noisy pump in the middle of the night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"This is not 4* hotel"
Hotel was good but not as per my expectation.... I booked imperial room in 4 star hotel and I got just small room and small bath...Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice place in a cute town"
Overall, we had a nice time. The room layout was a little funky (such as having the bathroom door next to the head of the bed). Also, we did not ask for an adjoining suite but we got one. The door between the rooms doesn't block noise that great and we could hear our noisy neighbors.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Updated facility, very comfortable."
Stayed in the new adjacent building: modern, spacious rooms. Very comfortable, would have no hesitation in recommending or returning myself.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel with charm and great location"
Overall we had an enjoyable stay but were disappointed that two of the features we chose it for over other hotels in the area were not available--the rooftop fireplace and the beautiful sunny dining room that were pictured on their website. (The considerably smaller bar restaurant was open.) Apparently those are for select dates or events which would […] have been nice to know from the website. Since it was cold but not raining, we had looked forward to sipping wine by the fire with a rooftop view of the town and water. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful and actually moved us to another room when we kept having trouble with our tv/dvd. We enjoyed borrowing movies from the hotel's lending library, and our room was comfortable and quiet except for some loud people at the bar across the street late one night (our first room that faced the main street). Beautiful rooms comfortable bed and close to dining and shopping! Everything within walking distance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old world charm - modern convenience"
Overall this was an excellent holiday experience. The staff in the hotel are wonderfully friendly and caring although things do run a little at "island speed" so don't be in a rush for anything. The Spa was first rate, the food excellent. Ask for the items that are made in-house particularly the crab cakes. "What a Lovely Hotel!"
My sister and I met at Majestic Inn for a "girls weekend" Dec. 7-9. The hotel was beautifully decorated and very luxurious from the fluffy white towels to the soft robes to the wonderful bed! We could walk to breakfast or to the shops and we enjoyed happy hour at the hotel bistro. We loved the cupola at the top of the hotel where you can sit and relax […] and have a 360 view of Anacortes. The staff where very helpful and courteous. We will definitely be back again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We checked in late and had to leave early, but the rooms & staff were amazing. My wife is jealous and insists that we need to go back this summer. Maybe we can partake is some of the spa offerings this next time aroundGenuine Expedia guest review
"New room, but small"
We stayed in a new room which was exceptionally nice. The experience was a treat. We did expect a little larger room since it was described as a "king suite." There was no small table for us to play cards on which we were hoping to do.Genuine Expedia guest review
"4 stars HOTEL HA-HA-HA"
WE PAID FOR 1 NIGHT 4 STARS HOTEL,BUT THIS HOTEL IS FAR FROM 4 STARSGenuine Expedia guest review
Before arrival we were called and informed that the elevator was down in the older building. We were offered our original room or one in the newer building - where the elevator worked - and when we arrived we were given both keys to check out the rooms. My wife picked the one in the newer building. Our stay was fantastic.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Vintage Styling, Friendly Service"
The Majestic Hotel and Spa featured vintage style rooms, with a comfortable bed and an inviting feel. The staff were very accomodating and offered assistance at every turn. We enjoyed our stay very much.Genuine Expedia guest review
This is a great hotel - very clean, nice rooms. The staff was friendly & helpful. There were several good restaurants within walking distance. We very much enjoyed our stay. They don't have a pool or hot tub, but I read that some rooms have a jacuzzi tub. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I would have rated higher, but we left our windows open one night and it was so noisy that we had to close them. No instructions on how to use French Press coffee maker, may I suggest a Keurig?Genuine Expedia guest review
"Old but new and it works"
I booked the Majestic Inn due to its proximity to the ferry to the San Juan Islands. As a stopover I wasn't expecting much. What a pleasant surprise to arrive at a hotel that is has been recently updated retaining the historic feel of the old while providing everything the modern business traveler needs. Even though I was not traveling for business, […] compared to other hotels we stayed at during this vacation, the Majestic was a place I could have spent a couple of days(or more) relaxing, doing business with the added bonus of getting away on the ferries to the SJ Islands. The Majestic has a very comfortable bar with a nice selection of liquor and wines, and the restaurant has good food and service. My room was very comfortable, cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed. The location is great, right on the main drag and free parking behind the hotel. They provide a hand creme that smells like a hundred roses in the little bottle and coffee they grind if you want to use the French press provided in the room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Historical Hotel"
Perfect stay, exceptionally clean, given a free upgrade. Ask to stay in old part if you like vintage architecture, very nice place to stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
New rooms, new linens - very nice and comfortable. Great location with access to beautiful onsite restaurant for nice to fine dining and access to great casual dining within walking distance. Loved the fireplace in the room - very nice!Genuine Expedia guest review
Stayed here on a one-night romantic getaway. Treated my girlfriend to a massage, which she said was amazing. Found the hotel itself to be pretty good. Very clean. The room was spacious enough, and the shower with the ceiling-mounted shower head was awesome. The bed was comfortable. It wasn't five-star jaw dropping quality, but it was standard three-star […] quality at a comparable price. The service was good--some employees would get five stars, some would get two. You can easily walk to several good restaurants, bars, and shops. I'd recommend it if you're headed to Anacortes. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Beautiful little Hotel. Nicely remodeled and appointed with period-copy furniture. Very nice! Take a walk, see the sunset and admire the well kept neighborhood of old homes.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel! Close to ferry terminal"
The Majestic was lovely! Remodel done with great decor. Quiet even on main street. Would return again next crossing! Leave some time to explore this harbor town so nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Anacortes - Great Hotel"
We had an extra day before taking the ferry to San Juan Island and decided to stay in Anacortes because in the 30 years we've been travelling to the San Juan Islands, we've never seen the town, just plowed on through to the Ferry. What a great town! Lots of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. The Majestic Hotel is pristine and historic. The staff was […] super welcoming, nice and friendly and upgraded our room to a view at no cost. The new adjacent building is lovely with a roof top garden that has a great view of the town and the Sound and Islands beyond. The sunset was beautiful and on the street below, a big stag suddenly appeared and walked down the street! Our room was really tasteful and upscale, very modern and comfortable, big bathroom and great bed. The hotel has a really pretty restaurant and bar. However, we chose to eat at a restauant across the street, the Rockfish Grill. Also, super friendly staff, delicious Bouillabaisse and great local jazz band, Fidalgo Swing. Breakfast found us at Mary Ann's Kitchen, beautiful little house a few blocks from the hotel with a sunny little dining room serving fantastic, hardy homemade breakfasts. Lots of fishermen from the nearby marina and port and other locals were there feasting. I definitely would stay there again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Beautiful hotel. I wish I could have stayed longer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The service is excellent. Our only problem was that our wifi kept on dropping. However, the Majestic staff, the lovely hotel itself and the restaurant services were excellent. I would return to this facility again and again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice older building"
Nice building, but now what I was expecting. Most places provide some kind of breakfast and there was nothing and the walls are very thin. We could hear everything in the room next to us and the motorcycle outside sounded like it was at the foot of my bed.The room was much smaller that I was anticipating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overnight in Anacortes"

"Good hotel option for Anacortes."

Room faced the street, and was quite noisy until midnight. Room was real nice, but had no microwave. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Thins walls - good location"
A lovely newly renovated hotel in downtown Anacortes. The room was smallish - just a small bit of room for suitcases & queen bed. Bath was small for 2 people - but clean with nice amenities. The walls were very thin - you could hear neighbors laughing & talking on both sides - as well as doors closing - so you don't feel like you have much privacy. […] There is a restaurant downstairs which has good food - although our fish was overcooked. The hotel offers charm for the location. Hopefully the new addition will have more insulation in the walls. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
