We checked in late and had to leave early, but the rooms & staff were amazing. My wife is jealous and insists that we need to go back this summer. Maybe we can partake is some of the spa offerings this next time aroundGenuine Expedia guest review
"New room, but small"
We stayed in a new room which was exceptionally nice. The experience was a treat. We did expect a little larger room since it was described as a "king suite." There was no small table for us to play cards on which we were hoping to do.Genuine Expedia guest review
"4 stars HOTEL HA-HA-HA"
WE PAID FOR 1 NIGHT 4 STARS HOTEL,BUT THIS HOTEL IS FAR FROM 4 STARSGenuine Expedia guest review
Before arrival we were called and informed that the elevator was down in the older building. We were offered our original room or one in the newer building - where the elevator worked - and when we arrived we were given both keys to check out the rooms. My wife picked the one in the newer building. Our stay was fantastic.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Vintage Styling, Friendly Service"
The Majestic Hotel and Spa featured vintage style rooms, with a comfortable bed and an inviting feel. The staff were very accomodating and offered assistance at every turn. We enjoyed our stay very much.Genuine Expedia guest review
This is a great hotel - very clean, nice rooms. The staff was friendly & helpful. There were several good restaurants within walking distance. We very much enjoyed our stay. They don't have a pool or hot tub, but I read that some rooms have a jacuzzi tub. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I would have rated higher, but we left our windows open one night and it was so noisy that we had to close them. No instructions on how to use French Press coffee maker, may I suggest a Keurig?Genuine Expedia guest review
"Old but new and it works"
I booked the Majestic Inn due to its proximity to the ferry to the San Juan Islands. As a stopover I wasn't expecting much. What a pleasant surprise to arrive at a hotel that is has been recently updated retaining the historic feel of the old while providing everything the modern business traveler needs. Even though I was not traveling for business, […] compared to other hotels we stayed at during this vacation, the Majestic was a place I could have spent a couple of days(or more) relaxing, doing business with the added bonus of getting away on the ferries to the SJ Islands. The Majestic has a very comfortable bar with a nice selection of liquor and wines, and the restaurant has good food and service. My room was very comfortable, cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed. The location is great, right on the main drag and free parking behind the hotel. They provide a hand creme that smells like a hundred roses in the little bottle and coffee they grind if you want to use the French press provided in the room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Historical Hotel"
Perfect stay, exceptionally clean, given a free upgrade. Ask to stay in old part if you like vintage architecture, very nice place to stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
New rooms, new linens - very nice and comfortable. Great location with access to beautiful onsite restaurant for nice to fine dining and access to great casual dining within walking distance. Loved the fireplace in the room - very nice!Genuine Expedia guest review
Stayed here on a one-night romantic getaway. Treated my girlfriend to a massage, which she said was amazing. Found the hotel itself to be pretty good. Very clean. The room was spacious enough, and the shower with the ceiling-mounted shower head was awesome. The bed was comfortable. It wasn't five-star jaw dropping quality, but it was standard three-star […] quality at a comparable price. The service was good--some employees would get five stars, some would get two. You can easily walk to several good restaurants, bars, and shops. I'd recommend it if you're headed to Anacortes. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Beautiful little Hotel. Nicely remodeled and appointed with period-copy furniture. Very nice! Take a walk, see the sunset and admire the well kept neighborhood of old homes.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel! Close to ferry terminal"
The Majestic was lovely! Remodel done with great decor. Quiet even on main street. Would return again next crossing! Leave some time to explore this harbor town so nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Anacortes - Great Hotel"
We had an extra day before taking the ferry to San Juan Island and decided to stay in Anacortes because in the 30 years we've been travelling to the San Juan Islands, we've never seen the town, just plowed on through to the Ferry. What a great town! Lots of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. The Majestic Hotel is pristine and historic. The staff was […] super welcoming, nice and friendly and upgraded our room to a view at no cost. The new adjacent building is lovely with a roof top garden that has a great view of the town and the Sound and Islands beyond. The sunset was beautiful and on the street below, a big stag suddenly appeared and walked down the street! Our room was really tasteful and upscale, very modern and comfortable, big bathroom and great bed. The hotel has a really pretty restaurant and bar. However, we chose to eat at a restauant across the street, the Rockfish Grill. Also, super friendly staff, delicious Bouillabaisse and great local jazz band, Fidalgo Swing. Breakfast found us at Mary Ann's Kitchen, beautiful little house a few blocks from the hotel with a sunny little dining room serving fantastic, hardy homemade breakfasts. Lots of fishermen from the nearby marina and port and other locals were there feasting. I definitely would stay there again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Beautiful hotel. I wish I could have stayed longer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The service is excellent. Our only problem was that our wifi kept on dropping. However, the Majestic staff, the lovely hotel itself and the restaurant services were excellent. I would return to this facility again and again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice older building"
Nice building, but now what I was expecting. Most places provide some kind of breakfast and there was nothing and the walls are very thin. We could hear everything in the room next to us and the motorcycle outside sounded like it was at the foot of my bed.The room was much smaller that I was anticipating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good hotel option for Anacortes."
Very brief stay, we came in late at night and left early in the morning to head out to the San Juan Islands.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Thins walls - good location"
A lovely newly renovated hotel in downtown Anacortes. The room was smallish - just a small bit of room for suitcases & queen bed. Bath was small for 2 people - but clean with nice amenities. The walls were very thin - you could hear neighbors laughing & talking on both sides - as well as doors closing - so you don't feel like you have much privacy. […] There is a restaurant downstairs which has good food - although our fish was overcooked. The hotel offers charm for the location. Hopefully the new addition will have more insulation in the walls. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

the staff were all great and actually were glad we chose their hotel. The decor was great, a mix of classic and new. The location (close to the ferry terminakl) was a good choice for us.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Wonderful brand new hotel in a historical building"
We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Majestic Inn. The property represents a first class renovation of a historical downtown building. The rooms, bathrooms, common areas, bar and restaurant all were perfect. The restaurant has great happy hour deals on food and beverages, and a number of items on the menu are fresh and local. We didn't get a […] chance to enjoy the spa, but it looked like a first rate operation as well. This hotel is a welcome respite from cookie cutter chain hotels in tourist areas. I am a frequent business traveler, but our visit here was on a family vacation. We will definitely return!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Quirky Town, Quirky Hotel"
Nice old hotel that's been pleasantly upgraded. Good food, nice bar, nice staff, didn't try the spa facilities out. Excellent location smack bang in the center of town surrounded by restaurants and a couple of bars. If you're going for a weekend in Anacortes, I'd really recommend it.Genuine Expedia guest review
Perfect place to stay - great food and bar a plus. Just a little noisy from floor above.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Historic hotel, modern luxury!"
An old building but completely redone with modern, fashionable decor. All the amenities are included, including coffee fresh ground for you when you check in! Good onsite restaurant. Make reservations for the spa well in advance, as they are shorthanded and booked up early by their regulars. Great location, right on the main street. Only complaint was […] that I could hear snoring from the next room through the connecting door overnight as well as construction noise during the day. However, earplug were already provided in the room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Charming, boutique-style hotel"
This is a charming, boutique style hotel. Provides a lovely, intimate experience. The spa is top shelf, as well. We have been visiting this hotel for the last several years and always look forward to it.Genuine Expedia guest review
First class place all the way! The exterior of the building could use a little update, but everything inside gets an A+++. Very pleased indeed. :)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The central location was perfect, right across the street from a few excellent pubs and eateries. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. While the room was cozy (and lacked a fridge or microwave) it was clean and charming with a very comfortable bed. "Beautiful hotel for a quick getaway"
My wife and I were there for a quick weekend (Friday night-early Sunday) getaway from our 11-month old son and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had read some reviews talking about how loud the hotel and surrounding area can be on a Friday night and unfortunately they were spot-on. After enjoying a nice dinner at the Anacortes Brewing Company across the street, […] we were looking forward to relaxing in our room. Luckily, I am a heavy sleeper so it didn't affect me very much, but my wife is the opposite and said it sounded like there was a live band on the floor below us and a number of conversations on the nearby sidewalk. Fortunately, the service at the hotel was great, the beds were comfortable, the restaurant food delicious and the staff was professional. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Charming Hotel in Anacortes"
The Majestic is a great little find. Beautifully re-done on the inside while maintaining the historical feel of the building. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the service was above average. If you're looking for an early rise, this might not be the place for you as the sound inside and outside of the building make that difficult […] but the fresh ground coffee they provide is helpful. Overall, just a great place to stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Vintage hotel in the heart of downtown Anacortes"
I wouldn't stay at this hotel in the future. There is nothing in Anacortes that would draw me back to this town. It is a gateway to the ferries to the San Juan Islands or Victoria, BC. Downtown Anacortes is in transition and this hotel is a jewel; but over priced at $173.00 per night. The most disappointing facet was the meal in their dining room. We […] were anticipating great seafood at a port town at the best hotel. .. .food was disappointing. Best part of the stay was the waitstaff. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall, we enjoyed it. However, the bar noise in the evening was difficult to deal with and some sleep was lost because of it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice but loud"
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the overall location and setting of the Majestic is convenient. None-the-less there are downsides to the hotel. We wanted a few relaxing days and found it difficult to sleep in the very soft bed with a mattress that has probably seen many guests. In addition, we found that there was a good reason for […] the ear-plugs we found too late - we heard all our neighbors coughing, talking and walking (some incessantly and in the early hours of the morning). Also, we missed (water) glasses in the room as well as amenities such as a small refrigerator. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good place for singles, girl get aways & couples"
Very home like feel. Our room didn't feel like a hotel. Would totally go back. The town was very cute & fun to walk around at Christmas time with the decor. My only two small complaints: 1. The room was a bit too warm & the thermostat didn't help much. But we could open windows if it got too bad. 2. No fan in the bathroom which just made it harder to […] defog the mirrors. We had to crack the door to help a bit. 3. Being an old building it was very noisy at bed time. We could hear people more than normal walking around the building & everytime the upper floor used water. Normally this might be really annoying but being such a small place the noise didn't last late into the night. Still a very friendly & comfortable place to stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Great service, reasonable price, beautiful building. Rooms are a little small though,,,,,at least mine was, #305. Would be nice to have a refrigerator in room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very pleasant staff"
Very convenient, easy to find location. Extremely pleasant staff. Very good breakfast quality and choice. Fresh ground coffee for the room was an extra unexpected bonus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the appointments in the room, the comfort of the beds, and the nice bathroom. The heat from the radiators was a little tricky. We had to ask how to turn the heat on. Restaurant service at night was less than desirable. We waited too long for the food and the salmon I ate was unrecognizable and way overcooked! "Historic building in anacortes"
Nice place to spend the night before taking ferries to islands. The radiators did not work night we were there so room a little cold. Good breakfast next morning, nice staff. Historic building. We would stay there again if returning. Beats the newer chain motels which were the other choices.Genuine Expedia guest review
