For those sensitive to perfumes, the lobby was full of potpourri. All of our noses were running....way too much.....what were they trying to hide? felt sorry for the employees to have to work in it....much better on higher floors. Sister and I came to assist 87 yr old mother in Windsor and visit other family and were so happy each nite to get back to a cozy room with great beds and wonderful breakfast each morning. We were tired at the end of each day and appreciated smiles at the front desk and a comfy room!

Booked at the last minute, not many hotels available... we checked in at 6p and we had to wait 20 minutes for the concierge to check if the room was ready! the room was fine, clean, and the bed comfortable. Unfortunately, the fridge was so noisy that i had to unplug it.

We spent the weekend in wine country and the location was centrally located. Very clean. The bed was notably very comfortable. Staff was excellent...I left my reading glass on the counter at breakfast, and they went out of their way to track me down to reunite me with my glasses. Free internet.

I will not be staying at this hotel ever again. The staff at the front desck were all very immature, the room had spider webs in it, and the airconditioner wouldn't stay set to cool it kept turning to heat in the night. I do not recomend staying at this hotel.

Our room's A/C unit was broken when we checked in, so we were moved to another room, no problem with the staff there. The pool was being retiled, so we couldn't swim on a hot day. They serve a full breakfast every morning. Had no clue. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, and cinnamon rolls. It isn't the greatest, but a nice perk when you want to get out and start your day and not have to worry about where you are going to eat. Room was very nice & clean. Pillows were awesome!

When I travel to this area, I usually plan a long bike ride the same day I check out. Often I have to "officially" check out before I've returned and had a chance to "clean up," yet the rest of my activities that day require a shower. The hotel is lovely - nice grounds and well kept. While I did enjoy the stay and the breakfast was really pretty good, I was expecting a lot more space in the room for what I was paying. This Hotel is a great pick if you want to do the Alexander Valley and Dry Creek Valley Wineries. Very Clean and Friendly staff. The rate was worth the cost compared to the very pricey other hotels in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed there this last weekend. As always, I pulled back the sheets to make sure they were clean, and there were a few little bugs in my bed. I pulled back the mattress from the wall and it appeared as though the housekeeping service hasn't done that, ever. I was moved to another room. It didn't work in my room until the Staff restarted their router. Then, it was slow (11Mbps) and stopped working late in the night. The front desk staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Property was well kept overall. The one exception was the elevator, which made strange noises and somewhat erratic movements.
