Overall, our stay was OK. I can't say it was fantastic, but the room was very clean and has been updated to a business class style. We had a king suite on the 3rd floor which had a separate bedroom which was nice and a "living area" with the normal amenities plus a small wet bar area with sink, small fridge, microwave, and a few basic utensils. They […] have toiletries and a tub/shower. However, the bed was way too hard. We had to ask for bedding for the sofa bed which was delivered promptly. There was no guestbook, telephone book, etc. - the normal hotel room helps. The hotel is also under construction right now which we did not know. But, it looks as though it will be very nice when it's finished and the noise was minimal. The hot breakfast was not of any quality. I eat a whole foods diet and this was like eating at a kid's cafeteria - packaged oatmeal, cereal, rubbery pancakes from a machine, sugary baked goods, and not even any real butter. The only real "hot" food was questionable scrambled eggs and bacon which I do not eat. There were apples, oranges, and bananas. You would think for the amount of money we paid the food would have been better and considering this is a hotel in an area where a lot of people are passing through and just want a comfortable sleep and a good meal. I'm sad to say that even though it was not a horrible stay, we will not be returning. Read more

WE ARRIVED THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING-SLOW NIGHT FOR THE HOTEL. WE WERE OFFERED ROOM ON THE THIRD FLOOR BUT REQUESTED THE FIRST FLOOR INSTEAD. The hotel was nice but over crowded! Couldn't enjoy the pool or get coffeee becuase of the crowds. If they can't handle the business don't book that many people! Our room was comfortable and the house service did a great job of keeping the room clean and comfortable.

Okay stay. Pets are allowed and it showed as there were stains all over the floor. Ice machine on bottom floor was broken or never had ice. I would look for a different hotel next time.

Room was good. We upgraded to a suit which was nice. The airconditioner in the bed room blew cool air on lowest cold setting. Sleep comfort could have been better. The seat on the balcony had a broken plastic piece which upon getting up pinched my wifes leg pretty bad.

Booked through Expedia. When we checked in, the desk agent checked us in to a SMOKING room because that was "all that's left." Had we known this ahead of time, we would never have booked (asthmatic.)

After a slight mix-up on our reservation the gal at the front desk was very helpful and was nice enough to gets us sweet with King Bed. The kids did just fine on the pull out bed. The breakfast was great not to mention a good cost savings after the 4 of us ate.

It is close to the soccer fields and tucked back from the highway. Quiet clean & nice. They need to upgrade the TV's & mattresses. Start the upgrade with the suites. Staff was great. Kitchenette cabinets a little worn down, mattress cover of sofa bed was dirty, had to go to twice to the lobby at night, once for getting a clean mattress pad, an then again to get pillow covers for the pillows because there were none in the closet with all the sofa bed sheets. There are limited selections in Lancaster, and this hotel is by far the best value for the price. My non-smoking room was located on the top floor which is conveniently where the smoking rooms are located. The entire hall smelled of cigarette and cigar smoke mixed with cheap aerosol fragrance. We chose this hotel sight unseen because of the reputation of Holiday Inn Express. We were not dissappointed, easy to find with easy access to and from the freeway and local dining and shopping. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We will definately recommend Holiday Inn Express to anyone, especially in Lancaster.

The hotel looked nice and the breakfast was good, but the maid service was non-existent. On the 1st day we had to request that our room be made up. On the 2nd day our room was not made up at all. We never received clean sheets or towels and had to request them from the front desk. For the price we paid, I would never go back to this hotel.
