We checked in with ease after a very long drive. We did however have trouble with the key opening the door. They sent someone up right away and the rest was... a good night's sleep. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. I plan to stay there the next time I'm back in Tallahassee.

The hotel was nice, room very nice and more than adequate for an overnight business trip. The shower door in the bathroom closed from the outside when you put some pressure on it, but not from the inside... so I made quite a mess - not sure what the alternative was. Our stay was mixed. We were first put in a handicap accessible room (although others were available) and the shower was too short. In addition, the headboard shared a wall with the ice and vending machine and we could not sleep at all. The room was switched the next night and this was basically better. The front desk staff was very friendly but not […] consistently knowledgeable. For instance, we were told to expect the taxi ride to cost 15 dollars one way, but it was twice that one way, with consistent rates from two different companies. There is only the hotel restaurant (which has good food and good service) and a burger king within walking distance, so this might be alright if you have a car, but without a car it is not very pleasant. Everything was as expected except the food. We had the buffet breakfast and, granted it was 9:00 am, but the ood was cold. You need to be sure the food is warming properly. It was not worth the price we paid!

Fast, efficient check in and room was wonderful. Very clean and nicely upgraded with granite counter tops in the bathroom and large walk in shower. The king size bed was a dream. The t.v., not so great but, it was sufficient for the overnight stay. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a mini vacation for me and the kids. The hotel was absolutely excellent. The staff were all amazing and the rooms couldn't have been better situated. The only thing was that the tub leaked a little and we thought it was from the shower first but it was actually from the tub.

I have been on a business trip for three weeks. I have stayed at a number of hotels, most of them Hiltons or SPG members. However, I figured I would take a chance with the Holiday Inn in Tallahassee as generally Holiday Inns are very hit or miss. This was a HUGE hit! The service was phenomenal, the rooms were huge and spotless, and I even ran into Kevin […] James in the elevator! I know the Kevin James thing has nothing to do with it but I still thought it was cool that even a huge celebrity like him chose to stay there over anywhere else! The lobby was very nice and smelled well. The clerk was extremely courteous and offered me a Bud Light while checking me in. The room was very clean and smelled well. The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as I would have hoped but could be just fine for other types of sleepers. I'll book this hotel again the next time I'm in Tallahassee for business.

The hotel had a "gym", but out of 2 treadmills, only one worked some what. No paper towels to wipe things off. Just plain bad. The breakfast buffet might be cheap, but the food is not good. You are better of buying a bagel at Publix .

We stayed here after an FSU football so we weren't in the hotel long. It was great to just walk in, get a key and be in a comfortable room. We had 2 grandkids with us and they enjoyed it.

Excellent facility. For breakfast I paid extra during reservation. But covered only $20.00 for 4 people (I was told about this only after getting seated) and that was deceptive. Breakfast was good, but expensive even after paying for it during reservation. It covered only a part of the bill. So I skipped the second day deal and thus lost the money I […] prepaid. Please make sure that the additional charges are spelled out during reservation and let customers know thtg only a part of the deal is covered, even after prepayment. Read more

Hotel is very clean and was a nice place to sleep. We use it as a stopping point on long road trips. It is very conveniently located if you're just passing through and want to stay on the interstate. Great price too!!!
