Accommodation consisted of a combined kitchen/diner/lounge and a seperate bedroom. There was also a covered patio area to the front with a table and sun lounger. It was modern and clean. The kitchen was a bit limited (a hob, fridge and sink) but meant we could have breakfast in our room and could cook a simple meal. The bathroom was excellent and there […] was always hot water. The only English TV channel was Sky news but there was also a sky movies channel with some English language films. The hotel has a nice pool area and access to the lake. The hotel staff were seemingly fluent in a range of languages. There was plenty of parking at the front. The only disappointment was the restaurant which was well out of our price range. This was not a problem as there were good restaurants over the road and along the shore of the lake. There is a supermarket (expensive and limited range) over the road and a much cheaper and larger one (Simply) about 3k away. The hotel is a few kilometres from the town centre. There is not much there although its a well kept town. We rented a car and found the drive from Verona airport straightforward and took a little over 30 mins. Although we did not use the services, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and a boat stops about 100 metres along the shore so it may be possible to stay without a car. Overall, this hotel was excellent value, clean, modern, friendly, quiet and comfortable. I would stay here again. Read more

The hotel is very nice, good location and the reception staff are very nice and friendly. Myself and my girlfriend were very happy with our stay, the hotel is right on the lake (private stoney/shingly beach). I think you would need a car to stay here as desanzano is about 5km away and the closer town (I can't remember the towns name right now!) is quite small. The only thing I would say, and this is also a criticism of many self catering hotels, is that if you stay for several days you dont get replacement towels/linen and only cleaning on check-out, so for example we stayed 5 nights but got no cleaning or change of linen/towels. However, if 5 different people stayed one night each in the apartment they would pay the same over-all price as me but the room would be cleaned everyday. Again this criticism is not specific to this hotel and not a major deal as I am happy to clean up after myself but I suppose more to do with getting value for what you pay for as the hotel is a little on the expensive side. My wife and I had a fantastic holiday around Lake Garda. The hotel has stunning views over the lake and is situated on the edge of a quiet village. As it was out of season the hotel was quiet and the staff treated us like lords. Nothing was too much and we had some very enjoyable evenings just talking at the bar. We even had a champagne breakfast as […] a treat. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with a small patio overlooking the lake. The kitchen was well equipped and gave the freedom to cook and have drinks when ever we wished. There is a small supermarket just across the road and places to eat within a short walking distance, even though some were closed as it was out of season. I suggest hiring a car once you get to the airport and recommend Europa car hire as they do not have the £1000 excess that most companies had and give a free second driver. With a car you would be able to take the children to Gardaland, movieworld and the other theme parks only a short drive away. Am südlichen Ende des Gardasees gelegen. Eigener Strand, der jedoch versperrt war. Zimmer waren muffig. Zu dieser Jahreszeit (Ostern) so gut wie kein Personal vor Ort. Die war unser zweiter Aufenthalt dort und wieder wollten wir gar nicht zurück fahren. Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, der Blick beim Frühstück auf den Gardasee traumhaft. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist das Langschläferfrühstück bis 11.00 Uhr, auch wenn das Buffet dann stellenweise schon mal etwas leerer sein kann. Neues, ruhig gelegenes Hotel direkt am Westufer, etwas ausserhalb von Padenghe und ca. 5km von Desenzano. Ein Spaziergang durch Padenghe mit Besuch des Castello lohnt, ebenso ein Abstecher an den benachbarten Hafen. Auch Desenzano ist am Jahresende höchst empfehlenswert. Das Hotel bietet sehr professionelles, hilfsbereites Personal und sehr guten Service. […] Der Check-in war trotz extrem später Anreise problemlos. Das gebuchte Zimmer war groß und komfortabel, die Inneneinrichtung jedoch etwas angestaubt und teilweise nicht gut gewartet (klappernde Klimaanlage, schiefe Lampe). Die große Terasse mit Seeblick war sehr angenehm, auch wenn der See relativ weit vom Haupttrakt entfernt ist ("Blick" ist hier wörtlich zu nehmen!). Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse gut, insgesamt jedoch nur Mittelmaß. Problemlos leben kann man damit trotzdem - auch damit, dass das Hotelrestaurant im Winter geschlossen ist und man abends zum Beispiel auf das sehr, sehr gute "Il Peperoncino" gegenüber ausweichen muss. Gleiches gilt für den großen Aussenpool, der im Winter leider eher zum Schlittschuhlaufen einlädt, und den kleinen Privatstrand am See - er ist zumindest Ende Dezember mit Eisentoren versperrt, sodass man 10 Minuten Fussweg aus dem Hotel heraus braucht, um am Wasser sitzen zu können. Bei einer guten Rate insgesamt empfehlenswert. Read more

Die Anlage besitzt ein eigentliches Hotel und getrennt liegende Appartements. Wir waren in einem der Appartements. 2 Erwachsene 2 kleine Kinder. Man beachte, daß in den meisten Bewertungen vor allem das Hotel an sich bewertet wird und weniger die Appartements. Das Hotel ist von seiner Ausstattung her auch "luxuriöser" und hochwertiger. In den Appartements […] gibt es wohl auch zwei Kategorien. Wir hatten die "Basis-Kategorie". Wir waren Selbstversorger. Das Badezimmer war sehr hochwertig und schön. Das eigentliche Schlafzimmer auch sehr gut. Das Wohn-/Schlafzimmer war allerdings etwas "in die Jahre gekommen". Das Schlafsofa könnte man durchaus ersetzen und die Küchenausstattung war sehr "spartanisch". D.h. Die Küche müsste mal "aufgewertet" werden. Es gab z.B. keine Mikrowelle und nur einen sehr "rudimentären" Herd. Andererseits war das Personal sehr freundlich und haben einem sofort geholfen, wenn etwas fehlte. Man bezahlt bei dieser Anlage vor allem die LAGE ! Denn die ist wirklich einzigartig mit einem eigenen Hotelstrand und direktem Zugang zum See. Dazu noch ein eigener Pool. Wir haben es verschmerzt, daß die Ausstattung nicht so der Hit war, weil wir sowieso den ganzen Tag draussen waren. Die Klimaanlage war gut, allerdings ein bisschen laut. ;0) Der Strand ist übrigens ein Kiesstrand, KEIN Sandstrand (nur um keine falschen Erwartungen zu wecken.) Ach ja und die Anlage hat noch eine schöne Liegewiese. Einkaufen in einem Supermarkt in der Nähe. Wichtig: man braucht ein Auto! Read more
