"Not the cleanest room- but the Resort was worth it"
We stayed only one night here. Upon our arrival we were in love with the resort. Very cute, has all different types of stores-prices are not too bad. They even have happy hour! Once we got into our room, we noticed that the cleaning service did not do a complete job. The sheets and blanket for the pull out couch were crumpled up in a ball inside the […] chest. We had to call the front desk to replace these. They only brought us a set of sheets..no blanket. We had to have them come back with a blanket. We went out for dinmer and enjoyed the hot tub. When we got backto the room, we set the bed and noticed that they didn't provide us with clean pillowcases either. We called the front desk, Waited an hour, and No one ever showed up. We had to wrap our t-shirts around the pillows. The view was great, the resort was nice, I just wishour room was clean, and that thw staff was smart enough to provide clean sheets, blankets and pillowcases. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel overall"
The first impression is that the hotel is nice, they maintain it well and constantly. We got the room with the sofa bed and balcony so it had a few extras. The kitchen area was nice and clean. The bathroom was overall clean as well. Now, given that there are not that many options, this is a good hotel and probably will pick it again if we return to […] Winter Park. The Cons for the hotel: Check in is done across the street from the hotel, this means that you have to drag the suitcases across the street and parking lot full of snow both ways. They have people that can carry your luggage but they also have to do the same thing, not good. The walls are very thin, you hear everything, if you have good neighbors then it is OK, otherwise it will be a bad vacation. The bed and pillows were awful and we were only able to sleep because we were exhausted after skiing, etc. You go to Winter Park to this hotel hopefully not to be in the hotel, then this place is good, if you are looking for a great hotel this is not for that, it feels more like a small apartment. And you also go to this hotel for the location, it is across from the Zephyr lift and the small town, very nice. We enjoyed Winter Park, the hotel was good enough even though it was more expensive than what it should be. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to the slopes"
This was a very pleasant surprise. I had to pay in full in October, however I ended up saving 40% off the regular February rate. Furthermore, the room was very nice with a fireplace, stocked kitchen. We were on the level with outdoor hot tub. Our neighbor next door turned his TV up and you could hear it, but otherwise noise wasn't really an issue. This […] is within easy walking distance to the base of the mountain. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay here in the future. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great place close to the base"
Fantastic time at Founders Pointe (sister building to Fraser Crossing). Very close to everything. Free parking is a little far but nothing terrible. Underground covered parking available for $14/day. Great amenities and very clean and modern interiors. I would not hesitate to stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
We have stayed there twice in the last 6 months and really enjoyed it. It's about a 200 yard walk to the Zephyr chair lift but it is a lot nicer than the Zephyr Condos. We definitely plan on staying there again. The rooms are great except they can get hot even with the heat turned down but other than that it's great. They need to update the TVs but […] not a big deal. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect Ski Vacation"
The room was nice with all the amenities of a small apartment. Located right across the street from the Village makes it easy to get to the slopes and eat or shop. Cheaper than staying at the Village.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice and practical hotel"
Very comfortable hotel, ski in ski out, with close restaurants, equipped with kitchen, plates, etc.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice 'suite' with bedroom and kitchenette. Very convenient walk to skiing, tubing, restaurants and shops. Friendly staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Greate hotel close to the slopes and shops"
The hotel is a very short walk to Winter Park Village, with shops and restaurants, and access to the chair lifts. The hotel also has secured underground parking for a per day fee. Given the 200 plush inches in average snow fall this is a good option. The hotel also provides a free shuttle to Winter Park town that makes easy to visit restaurants and […] shops. "Walking distance to lifts, shopping, dining, pubs!"
Shuttle service staff were very, very friendly and helpful - went out of their way to be of service. The grounds around the condos were charming and well maintained. Just walk across the street and you are in the ski resort village with lots of activities, shopping, bars and fun! Room stayed overly warm no matter how low we set the thermostat - we had […] to crack the window to cool it down. Kitchenette was well stocked and very clean. Large hot tub was a major feature, however it was out of order for most of our stay - we enjoyed the one night we were able to use it. Guest laundry had digital machines and was very clean. Great set up for families, however with housekeeping only after stays of 5 days, our trash was overflowing by the third day and it was not obvious what to do with it ourselves. Towels were nice and fluffy, rooms were well appointed, but our coffee/storage table had a broken lid. I would recommend Founders Pointe! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is nice but hotel management needs help.. The hair dryer in my room did not work and the front desk could do nothing about it. Did nothing to accommodate us.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great staff made the stay enjoyable"
Staff were friendly and were available in various hallways and the parking garage. I locked myself out of my room, and a staff member was right there to let me in (after verifying id). My car battery died, and a staff member walking by in the parking garage helped call someone to jump my car. Thank you!Genuine Expedia guest review
This building is relatively new, but it has some serious issues. The first night, a pipe burst leading to an evacuation for an hour (from 11:30PM to 12:30AM). The next night, our upstairs neighbors were making noise until 1AM which was only an issue because the piping in the ceiling rattled with each step they made. The pipes must not be secured to […] the joists. Later that night, we woke up again to workmen walking in the hallway chatting via walkie-talkies. There is little to no soundproofing and the door to the hallway has an inch gap at the bottom. The heating controls don't work - our room was constantly 75 degrees despite our adjusting it down as far as 59. We had to keep the window open a crack to avoid waking up in a sweat. The "Up" button on one of the elevator calls was missing (pushed into the unit) so we had to go down to go up. The couch in the living room was very stained and the pillows of the side chair were frayed - obviously not new with the building. In short, not a place I'll stay again. I can not compare it to other Hotels in the area since this was our first time there, so for us it was great. The beds could have been a little better, but other than that it was a great experience. We parked in the garage once we got there and was able to walk to the slopes and to the shops in the village.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You should stay here"
My only complaints about this property are that check-in is across the street at the Zephyr, and this was not clear when I booked. While it was not really an inconvenience, it was confusing at first. Otherwise, the property was great, location was fantastic, rooms were clean and orderly, and the staff was very accommodating about allowing me an early […] check in and a slightly late check out. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We traveled to Winter Park with our two small children and the hotel was warm and comfortable. Even though the temperatures were really low we enjoyed using the hot tub. The room was clean and comfy especially the fireplace. The room itself stayed really warm so we kept the heater at 65 degrees the whole time we were there, we even had to crack a window […] a few times it was so warm. the kitchenette was a big plus for us. We went to the grocery store the first day we arrived and bought some food and drinks and was able to make breakfast in our room every morning before we went out for the day. We had a great time in Winter Park and will definately stay at Fraser Crossing/Founders Pointe again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"5 nights for Christmas"
We had a 1 BR with kitchenette with fireplace and balcony for 2 adult and one kid. The major problem is to have the cleaning service coming in. Even if we called 3-4 times the staff at the front desk (who does not really care) we had only one cleaning service during the 5 nights ! We had to ask the ladies in the hallway to come and empty the trashes, […] and have new towels. This is our second visit and noticed a big drop in the service. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"This Hotel was Okay at Best..."
While my overall stay was okay...there were a few things that could have made it better. The location was good... The room itself was excellent... The hotel staff were the Best... I stayed 5 days and not once did my towels get changed...I got them myself The heater controls did not work and I had to regulate using the patio door There was an odor […] of bacon during our entire stay... And it wasn't the people next door At room 4573 there needs to be an exit / elevator a lot closer! The walk completely bored me out! "Nice Condos, close to lifts, minor issues"
Condos were very clean and comfy. Loved that they were within walking distance of the lifts. Each unit has it's own (free) locker for skis. We stayed for (4) nights and never received room service, not sure if we were supposed to. We had one other inconvenience, there was a fire alarm at 10:30 pm that turned out to be false. Having sleeping children […] to wake and rush out was bothersome but we were glad that it was not real and recognized that it was a good drill and discussion to have with our children. All of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great location, small condo, not well equipped"
Front desk staff was great. Heated parking was an extra $14 a night, otherwise you have to take the cabriolet from the parking area to get back to the village. Love the hot tub. Condo is small, but well laid out. There was not even salt and pepper in ours, and not a game, puzzle or deck of cards to be found!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect ski location"
Went for a ski weekend and this was a perfect place to stay. About 200 yards away from the ski lift. It is across the street from the base of the mountain, but it is an easy walk. Rooms were clean and great for a nice stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Rooms nice but don't expect mountain views."
My reservation clearly stated mountain view. We were looking at grass, rocks, and utility boxes . Management said they did not have to honor "requests" when booked through a third party. Hotels.com called them and got us moved up 3 floors. Our fireplace did not work, and they said their maintenance man was sick. The ski village (restaurants, shops) […] was closed for the season; the place was deserted. Drove into Winter Park for delicious dinner at Deno's Mountain High Grill - creative entrees. Our favorites: beef tips with brussel sprout slaw, and salmon with beets. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Family vacation to attend a wedding in Winter Park"
Stay was very pleasant, off season nothing convenient for food or drink. Hard to find, possibly easier if you came over Berthoud but we came in through Fraser. "Perfect place to celebrate a birthday"
My husband and I went to Winter Park to celebrate his 30th birthday and we had a blast! The location is great and our condo was wonderful. It was spacious, comfortable, and we will definitely be staying there again in the future!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Checkin was a breeze. Room was clean and comfortable. Half of the lights either did not work or I could not figure out how to turn them on. So I take a dim view on that aspect! I asked the main dest to have Hide-a-bed made up since I physically could not. Arrived back at the room late with two sleepy children and the bed was not ready. So sad.Genuine Expedia guest review
We really enjoyed our September stay. We were there for a wedding. It was definitely the off season, and a few of the nearby shops and restaurants had restricted hours. The resort itself is beautiful, and very well maintained. The room was large and comfortable. The underground parking is a nice feature, as we ran into rain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice condo close to winter ski activities"
We stayed for one day while visiting the Rocky Mtn. Ntl. Park. It's a very nice place that's in the midst of winter activities. We were awakened by a train in the middle of the night and the layout of the rooms did not seem safe in the event of a fire. We'd stay again if we were going to be arriving in the winter.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Condo at Winter Park, CO"
Fraser Crossing/ Founders Pointe is a HUGE place. Lots of condos in a mountain village setting. The parking is underground and there is no air conditioning, so our condo was rather hot when we arrived in August, 2013. However, after opening all windows and letting in the cool night air, it became more comfortable. There was only one elevator in our […] building, so it was quite a walk down meandering halls to our unit at the other end. There are lots of fun things for the younger folks to do, especially children, but not so much for senior citizens unless you are able to hike the trails, bike or ski. Everything was clean and well-kept and the staff was accommodating and nice. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice family getaway"
Good two night trip to the mountains to cool off. We vacations with two small children 3 and 5 and had fun at the Winter Park resort. Great games and amenities to keep the kids busy.Genuine Expedia guest review
Founders Pointe was lovely! Great location and nice hot tub. Tasty restaurants in walking distance. It was 80 degrees in our room, because they don't have air conditioning (not uncommon in the mountains -- but we have our home thermostat set at 68, so 80 was pretty uncomfortable). We think this was unusual for the mountains (it is August), but it's […] something to be aware of if you don't enjoy sleeping hot. :) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great location and nice rooms"
As others have said, the room was a bit warm and did not have AC. However, the windows open and there is a ceiling fan, so it wasn't bad. "Family weekend getaway"
My family enjoyed Founders Pointe. We rented the one bedroom. The pull out bed in the couch was really not bad. It is odd how far away the elevators are from some rooms. However, there are luggage carts. We were at the condo in early August. We really enjoyed being able to walk to shops and restaurants and sit outside to eat. The resort area had all […] sorts of outdoor games set up for kids. Giant connect 4, other stuff to jump on. Parking under the building was easy and convenient. The hot tub is large and a great way to relax before bed. The tv's were nice and were new. Great cable channel selection. No AC but we didn't need it. We spent the days in Rocky Mountain National Park, about 40 minutes away through Grand Lake. We had a really nice time. When we checked in I asked the woman checking us in about restaurants and she had great suggestions and was really helpful. Seems they are really busy and try to get you checked in quick, but if you ask they are happy to take the time to answer your questions. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Summer trip to Colorado mountains"
We were very happy with the hotel. We booked a studio room. It was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchenette was modern with up to date décor (granite countertops, stainless steel appliances - 2 burner stove top, M/W, small fridge and D/W.) All dishes, silverware, pots and pans, etc were provided. It was conveniently located in The Village, at […] the base of Winter Park Resort. There were plenty of restaurants and shops...all within walking distance. Our room looked out over the very large hot tub in the inner courtyard area of the hotel. The view of the mountain and the base area of the resort were very beautiful, especially as the lights came on in early evening. The bathroom had a deep soaker tub, a blow dryer was provided and plenty of towels. There is no air conditioning but the nights were very cool so we slept with the windows open. A box fan is provided for those who need it for additional cooling. There was also a humidifier to use, if needed. Underground parking was nice. Only cons: The U shape of the building was inconvenient when trying to get to the elevator/vending/ice machine since our room was at the far end of the "U". The noise level from those using the hot tubs got very bad one evening. We finally had to contact security to do something about it. We appreciated that Security did show up quickly and things quieted down. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
