We booked the hotel for a bit of a laugh - not particularly big beatles fans - sorry! However the quality of the hotel is akin to any boutique hotel. We ate a mid afternoon snack in the brasserie - excellent food and service. Nice surroundings. Came back to the bar late in the veneing - nice atmosphere. We did change our room as the first room had an ajoining door to the next room and the occupants were rattling the handle and seemed to think it was good fun!! So we asked to be moved and were not disappointed. Mathew Street in the evening leaves a lot to be desired so make sure you plan night out away from this area!!

This is a very classy well done Beatles themed hotel. The rooms are comfortable and modern. Take time to look at all the pictures as you go down the stairs. The statues on the outside of the building are fun and add to the theme in a classy way! The only complaint is that they don't have parking onsite. There is however a local parking garage that was easy to get to and the hotel offers discounted parking.

First class hotel. If you are into the Beatles and all that went with the sixties it's a must to stay at or just call in for meal or drink. The only question mark over the hotel is the rooms that over look Mathew Street could do with double glazing, this is due to the night life in Mathew street is some what noisy and goes on well into the early morning. So if you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from that street. Other than that a good place to stay when in Liverpool.

Hotel is cool and great location the service the lacking and especially the restaurant Blakes, here the service it below par. For example we ate there for breakfast. It was buffet. We were never greeted by a server. Had to find our own silverware and finally left with no drinks. And the staff was not busy many of the tables were empty. They just walked around like they were lost and did not know what to do. Unfortunately this clouded my opinion of the whole hotel.

We stayed here due to the central location and were not disappointed. The hotel itself is presented to a very high standard and you feel as if you are staying somewhere quite special. The Cavern club is just round the corner and you are a stones throw from the central shopping area and about a 10 min walk from the docks area. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby too. Unfortunately, due to it's central location (as other reviewers have mentioned) a lot of noise filters through to the bedrooms (and we were given a room in the centre of the hotel). If you like things a bit quieter in the evening, I would suggest you look at hotels in the docks area, if you can put up with a bit of noise then this hotel is perfect in terms of location and presentation - look no further!

The hotel is slap bang in the middel of Liverpool, around the 'Cavern Quarter' as you'd hope. All the staff were welcoming and helpful, rooms good sized and comfortable. The hotel itself has had a lot of time and effort out into it. Check out the cocktails , and Blakes restaurant which have good offers on at the moment. We regretted not doing moreso ourselves, but were tired and ordered room service. As is the case with almost all hotels, room service never turns out to be quite what you ordered, nor as hot as it would be if you went to the restaurant itself.

This is the hotel for you. The entire hotel is decorated with Beatles photos and memorabilia. I was on my leisure trip alone, and I felt safe, welcomed and well cared for. I used the hotel lobby bar, the hotel lobby restaurant, and the adjacent Fab Four Lounge. Every meal and beverage I received was served promptly, courteously, and was of high quality. The front rooms get a little noisy at night if you are staying on a weekend. If you don't stay out late at night, you might want to get an courtyard room. In addition, I want to compliment a hotel front desk person named Sarah (pronounced SAY-ra). You see, after I left the hotel and arrived by train to Birmingham, I realized I had left cash and jewelry in the open safe in my now checked-out room. I phoned the hotel and Sarah retrieved my items and took personal responsibility for mailing them back to me, even phoning me at my next hotel to confirm what she was going to do. This is unusual and over-the-top service.

The evening room service s extremely limted, a coupld of sandwiches is all that is available. but I would stay there again if those issues were not there, the staff were lovely and the food was good and their wines were very nice.

The Hard Days Night Hotel is a very sleek and modern hotel based right in the centre of Liverpool. The rooms are nicely furnished and are very comfortable and luxurious. The only thing that I would mark the hotel down on was the lack of double-glazing in the rooms as the room that we stayed in backed straight onto North John Street, which is a relatively busy thoroughfare for cars, buses and what sounded like trolleys being pushed down the street in the early hours of the morning! Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the hotel to friends.

The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. Any problems they are hapy to remedy, such as moving you from the noisy rooms overlooking Matthews Street when a samba band strikes up at midnight! So if you are wanting to go to sleep before midnight ask for a room that does not overlook the Cavern and Matthews Street.

We were more than happy with our deluxe room on arrival no. 417 and the decor of the hallways ect- as long as you don't pull back the drape curtains which revealed that you were totally overlooked by offices. The jukebox system on the TV was cool, as was the picture of mcartney above the bed. However when we got back in the evening we found that the power wouldn't work at all in our room - no lights, no tv, no shower. We went down to inform the desk who confirmed that yes the power had gone in that room and there was nothing they could do till morning. I overheard the deputy manager tell a young lad that the only room they could move us to was one that someone else had already complained about as it was noisy but they took us there anyway. As we had paid for a deluxe room i was expecting at least an upgrade but they took us to a pokey standard room which if you closed your eyes used think you were actually in a nighclub. Clearly we told the porter that there was no way that we would be sleeping in there so just went straight to bed in our powerless room. after having to make complaint in the morning they gave us a free lunch in the end. It is a lovely hotel but if you are going to pay a huge amount of money to stay here you want to be guaranteed a relaxing time...also the ticket they gave us for the discount car parking didn't work and we had to call an attandent. Little bits of hassel you could do without.
