Overall, a good quality small hotel at a reasonable price. When we stayed there was some refurbishment taking place and the carpets in the public areas were well worn, but overall a pleasant stay and friendly staff. Good food too!

My husband and I have just spent a lovely weekend in north yorks. We stayed at the Beansheaf hotel it was lovely. All staff very friendly and helpful, nice food clean comfortable room and the location very good to access lots of lovely places in the area. I can highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable (the bed was so well made that its precision made us assume at first that the duvet had not yet been put on; it had!). The food was also good. We are thinking of returning there again soon.

Found this hotel to be very friendly and comfortable. Also noticed it was pet friendly and I could have taken my little dog with me. The hotel was very clean, and the food in the restaurant was excellent, this was evening meal we did not have breakfast. I would definitely go back.
