The new section layout is frustrating having to go up to go down and visa versa. The cafe food was awful and grossly overpriced. Had stayed there several years ago. It was better then. Won't be back.

Went to Reno for my daughters lacrosse game. It had been years since being in Reno. The hotel was beautiful. The opulent Tuscan theme made us feel like we were in Las Vegas, not Reno. Large well appointed room and friend ly staff. We are actually planning a future trip based on the hotel and the value we felt we received.

I would not stay here again. Although the room was clean, it was too far from the lobby and very difficult to find. I was in the North wing on the 2nd floor and i had to take an elevator to the 3rd floor, take the sky walk to the north wing, then take another elevator down to the 2nd floor. Then of course do that all over when returning to the lobby.

The room was great, but I would caution you about getting a room in the West Tower. It's quite the walk from the lobby and I would recommend having a clerk take you to your room because the West Tower can be hard to find. Also, I did not like the walk over to the West Tower because part of the walk is outside of the Hotel and if your coming back to your room late you kind of feel un secure. The room was clean and ok. I will stay at The Pepper Mill in the future but will not book a room in the West Tower.

Staff was great; they were extremely friendly. I needed a late checkout due to the time of my work meetings and they accommodated me without any hesitation. My only complaint was that the pillows are rock hard! However, I highly recommend this hotel.

Restaurant food sucked and too expensive. The hotel walls are like paper, I heard arguments and loud people all night - we got no sleep. The drinks every where were weak, and the area around the hotel is not very pretty or exciting. I will never go back.

I got what I paid for, which was the cheapest room. Main complaint was the noisey air conditioner! Next time we will up grade our room, it's worth it! We have stayed here once before and our room was very nice when we up graded it!

The first desk manager was very unhelpful and rude. I requested a late check-out and she yelled that they were booked solid for that day. It's Reno...really!!! Hotels don't sale out expect twice a year and that is in the summer....because of her doubt I will be staying here again. Nice renovations.

First time at the Peppermill, so disappointed ! First room stunk like a dirty dipper was hiding somewhere: Second room wasn't vacuumed, we found a old half eaten chicken nugget, a couple of toe nails in plain sight, hair was every where in both beads, and in the shower a used harry wash cloth was left behind for us to clean up. It was just plain gross.

We had an emergency and the Peppermill was wonderful. Jason at the front desk was very nice and made check-in easy, and gave us great recommendations. Room was excellent and the bed very comfy. While I realize every hotel with a pool now has resort fee, it would be nice to have waived in certain circumstances.

Our room was far and not accessible at all.. Not to mention its small. We also asked for a fridge and they said they were going to bring it up but never came.. Only good thing about this place is the spa. I would definitely stay somewhere else but visit the spa!

We used to go to Reno a couple times a year until the California Indian Casinos took there toll on Downtown. Things became rundown and almost unsafe. We decided to give it another try and the Peppermill did not disappoint! We ate there, played there, and went to the spa there. The surrounding area has new shops and places to eat. We now have a reason to go back to Reno. South Virginia Street is alive.

This was my first trip to Reno. The Peppermill is not right in the downtown...which is probably not a bad thing. It's Roman theme and architecture is highly visible from the road as you arrive and it lets you know what you're in for. We were able to check in when we arrived at 1pm. Our room was in the North tower which is a bit of a walk from the rest of the casino. We were able to enjoy services at The Fireside, Oceana, The Terrace and Bimini. We were impressed with the service at Bimini, the quality of the wine selections and the french onion soup. The Terrace had live music and a decent selection of bourbons which made us happy. The pools were open but we did not get a chance to visit them, but it looked like others were having a great time. If we were to return to Reno again, I surely would stay here a night or two.

Line was a little long for check in and a few buttons were broken or missing labels on the jacuzzi tub, but EVERYTHING ELSE was perfect! Great food at the two restaurants we tried in the casino. The room was incredible and so comfy. We just regret not staying longer. This is our new go to place.

I was "upgraded" to a suite that reeked of cigarette smoke after I requested a non-smoking room. When I complained, the room was "treated" but my clothes still smelled of cigarettes. My boyfriend and I decided to stay the night here on our way to San Francisco from Nampa Idaho. And it was incredible. The place is like a mini Vegas. The restaurants are delicious! And the decor is stunning. The only downside was it was pouring rain outside so checking out the pools and spa was a bust. But we are most definitely planning a trip back in the near future.
