This hotel is immiediately adjacent to the terminal. It is an excellent option for the night before your flight. Staff if friendly, amenities are fine, internet is free. The "neighborhood" is a parking structure - its only negative.

Great location. the location is in between the warf ( Must go early Sunday morning), St Pauli district( red Light) and downtown.Downtown is a bit of a walk but doable. Very nice old hotel. I would definatly stay there again

This was a great choice for my dad and I who were backpacking through Europe and had only 24 hours to spend in Hamburg. They are located within walking distance of the Eurolines Bus Station and Hamburg Central Station as well, this was convenient because when you land somewhere you've never been I think is a good idea to just go to the hotel, settle […] in and then head out to town. For a couple of nights in Hamburg at a cheap price this hotel is fine. Its not The Ritz but its not The Ritz prices. The room was clean & complimentary breakfast is good. Its a 10 minute walk from main railway station.

This hotel is definitely 2 stars, and it doesn't promise to be anything else. So you get what you pay for, and that's not such a bad thing. The room was clean, nice comfortable bed. The room was also quite quiet, which was surprising considering the area.The bathroom only had soap in the shower, they hadnt filled up the soap by the hand wash. When arriving at the hotel the staff in the reception was helpfull and kindly. That was the only time we got that experience! Ewery time after that the Staff either looked at the internet at the computer or was on the phone (private cellphone) They dident even turn around and look at us (or other guests) when leaving the hotel and dropping the key. I travel a lot and I'm not terribly precious about what some might term as the "finer" things, but this hotel was exceptionally basic. Dirty, tired, old decor; curtains so thin that there was no way to make the room even vaguely dark at night (was this just the street?) . The pipework was so old that the water smelled horrible (was this the city's water […] supply?). Lift only after the 1st floor, the list, unfortunately, go on. Breakfast choice was adequate, but in this price range, there are literally dozens of hotels in the area that are leagues above this one. We transfered to another hotel on the same street (no problems with light at night as the curtains were sufficient) had a shower in a lovely, clean bathroom (no stinking water smell). The only positive note: the staff, though tired and lacklustre, like the hotel, were at least genuine and friendly. Read more

Der Preis ist natürlich unschlagbar. Dementsprechend ist aber leider auch die Qualität des Hotels: niedrig. Die Lage würde ich als eine der unschönsten Ecken von Hamburg beschreiben, positiv ist hier nur die Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof (ca. 600 m). Von Hygiene kann noch niemand etwas in diesem Hotel gehört haben: Haare im Bad und in den Betten, sehr unangenehmer […] Geruch im Bad, Lüftung dort ist völlig verdreckt, ebenso der Duschvorhang, Flecken auf den Handtüchern, keine schalldichten Fenster (sehr laut wegen der stark befahrenen Straße), Zimmer ist total eng (es wurden mit Müh und Not ein Doppelbett, ein Tisch und zwei Stühle reingequetscht). Hotelllet var godt beliggende, kun få minutters gang fra hovedbanegården. Det er ikke noget luksushotel, men det var rigtig fint til prisen. Jeg vil ikke have noget mod at bruge det samme hotel, hvis jeg på et tidspunkt, skal bruge et par dage i Hamborg igen.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral im Vergnügungsviertel St. Georg gelegen. Komfort ist bei dem günstigen Preis nicht zu erwarten, aber das Hotel ist in erheblich besserem Zustand als das Äußere erwarten lässt. Wer lediglich einen Platz zum Schlafen und ein erstaunlich gutes Frühstück sucht, ist hier wirklich gut aufgehoben.

Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist erstaunlich! - Unser Auto konnten wir in einer geheizten, abgeschlossenen Tiefgarage parken; die Gebühren dafür waren in Ordnung. Der Service war gut, das Zimmer klein, aber es war alles Nötige d'rin, sogar einen Flachbildschirm - und einen Haartrockner im Bad - gab es! Das Hotel […] befindet sich hinter dem Hauptbahnhof, die Umgebung ist allerdings sehr südländisch. Außerdem gibt es dort zahlreiche Sexkinos, Erotik-Geschäfte und Spielkasinos. Vaerelset var fint - dog ikke ret rent (snasket haandvask og en gammel sok under sengen) Heldigvis var sengene store og dejlige og med rent sengetoej. Morgenmaden lod meget at oenske. Man kunne se at maden blev genbrugt dag efter dag: Juicen med grums i bunden, smoerpakker der var sure, og saa var der ingen vand - man kunne koebe dyrt i recepcionen. veldig variert service, alle uten 1 var supre, men den ene var ikke bra, han satt stort sett i telefonen hver gang vi skulle ha tak i han, og gikk rundt å pratet, og gjorde ikke anntydning til å legge på, det var soleklart ikke jobbrelaterte telefoner, han ødela helhetsintrykket på hotellet veldig.

Für Kurzaufenthalte ist das Hotel zu empfehlen. Das Personal war freundlich, das Frühstück okay. Aber das Zimmer im 5 stock genau gesagt die 51 ist für die Nacht und für Langschläfer nicht geeignet sozusagen genau neben dem Motor des Aufzuges. Für den Preis würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen.
