So shocked we booked this hotel based on price and wasn't expecting much. We pulled up to a guard who asked us what he could do to help we told him we had a reservation he asked our name and then let us drive on the property. We were amazed at how big our room was and how clean everything was. The family had a wonderful time in Florida and a large part was due to where we stayed. The best selling point of the hotel is the access to the resort facilities. My husband and I got to relax while the kids played on the playgrounds and the splash area. The whole family enjoyed the walk in pool and grown ups enjoyed the bar next to one of the 3 pools. […] The location was super with easy travel times to the big amusement parks and almost no travel times to smaller things like mini golf and Fun Spot. The hotel is older and could use a room update but the price is fantastic for what you get. I loved the hotel! Rooms were not big but who goes away to live inside a room your whole vaca? It was inside a resort that had soooo many amenities. I only stayed one night but wished it was a week! We found this hotel by accident and my only complaint is that we did not find it sooner. It was perfect for our trip. When I arrived to the hotel the exterior is nice and when checking in the woman checking us in said nothing to me and until she told me I had to initial my bill. Later that night I checked my bank account, not only had I been charged my room rate but also a $99 hold on my account no one had informed me about. I went bank to speak to the woman and inquired […] about the charge and why she didn't inform me when I checked in and she said it was "probably on your email from whatever site you booked on" I said well it never said specifically 99 dollars and she again replied with without even making eye contact "well that's just policy so..." I told her I was upset because no one had informed me and I did not plan on staying there if they didn't release my funds and she in a mocking tone said "sorry!!" And turned her back. Complete lack of customer service I was highly upset and completely considered not even staying for the duration of my trip. Not for anything the hotel isn't spectacular, the rooms are lacking and a hotel has your credit card information on file for a reason, there is no need to take such a large deposit out. Needless to say I will absolutely not be staying here ever again. I think it's just common courtesy to explain a charge before you charge it, there was plenty of opportunity to tell me there was a standard hold on everyone's account and the attitude after I inquired was completely unnecessary and in professional. Our family really enjoyed this hotel. There was hot breakfast with lots of variety, and the water park for the kids was great. The hotel room itself was nothing out of the ordinary for the price range, but it was really nice to find such nice amenities for this price. My kids really enjoyed the pools and playgrounds.

Everything was nice. Staff was wonderful. Only thing was hotel smell of chlorine we going to the rooms in building #2. And the light fixture in the bathroom of the room we stayed in keep flickering, which I forgot to report because it wasn't really a bother. But other than that everything else was fine.

It was conveniently close to Disney World, and they also had a free shuttle service between the hotel and the theme parks. The hotel was part of a resort area, so there were lots of activities going on there. Great for kids too and the 24 hour heated pools were a plus. Another plus was the free breakfast. We live 45 minutes away, and stayed here because out-of-state relatives were staying in the resort timeshares. So, we grabbed a room at the Crown Club Inn, thinking for the price it would probably be mediocre. But we were pleasantly surprised! The room was big, with a king bed, sleeper sofa, and mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast was included: eggs, […] sausage, juice and pastries, so for our family of four it was an awesome bargain. We were barely in the room anyway, as we were out all day enjoying the fabulous pools & activities! Highly recommend this hotel to a family with young children especially. The hotel was not particularly luxurious, but it was very clean. We loved having access to the amenities at Summer Bay Resorts -- the pools and tennis courts. Shuttle service to the Disney parks was very convenient. Also convenient to lots of nice restaurants and "tacky tourist" shopping -- my kids' favorite kind.

Facilities were great! Kiddy play pool was cold but lots of fun, kids did not mind at all. The king room with sofa was spacious. Tv in armoir was bolted down at an awkward angle so it was hard to see from the sofa. Though this hotel is almost where 27 crosses 192, it was a great find. We got an awesome price on Hotels.com for a king suite that included a decent breakfast. The room was spacious and clean (except for an old shampoo bottle left by a previous guest). The a/c was quiet yet strong. We had a mini fridge, but no surcharge for it, which is a hidden charge […] at most of the budget hotels around Disney. The bathroom was large and the showerhead had several good settings. The bed was very comfortabe and the pillow selection worked for us. Breakfast included fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels and Englih muffins, sweet pastries, oatmeal, oranges, milk, OJ, etc. It would have been better if apples and bananas were also avilable. The hotel is on a resort property that includes houses and condos. There are several pools, two of which are open 24-hours per day. We did not take advantage of the tennis courts or mini golf so we will have to come back. I highly recommend this property for the price! Read more
