This hotel had everything we needed. We were close enough that we could get around the city, no need for taxi's and plenty of markets to look for souvenirs. Excellent choice, so make plans to attend this hotel. Plenty of staff speak english so don't be concerned about that, our party spoke very little spanish and we made out fine. Also if you book on hotel.com it is about half the price.

Hotel Suites Mediterraneo is situated in Boca del Rio and regional attractions include Sistema Arrecifal Veracruzano National Marine Park.

The photos do not represent the rooms in the slightest. Super small quarters and dirty. We were really dissatisfied but had no other options at the time of our arrival. The staff was cool but the hotel was run down. Restaurant was more like a cafeteria and food was mediocre. Overall I think this quote from one of my kids says it best "wow this place […] sucks". I guess you can say our return is very unlikely. But hey, we had a roof over our heads for the night and for that we were thankful. Read more
"Good Hotel in Boca Del Rio"
Don't come here and expect a 5 Star hotel. Also expect to attempt to speak in Spanish. The room I had was a double bed and a single with an air conditioner (a must) and it had a little kitchenette (sink, microwave, fridge) and a few dishes. Fridge was handy to keep bottled water and Coronas. :) You can eat at the little restaurant they have and also […] use their swim up bar too. Pools on hand were nice to beat the heat. Free wireless Internet in lobby, restaurant and pool area (but it is not that fast) so just check email. Buses are cheap and stop right out front of the hotel and taxi's are as easy as an arm wave. "Decent location, but badly run-down"
The location is not bad, but the hotel itself is way beyond the need for a renovation. Though the price was pretty good, it still did not merit the conditions. Furthermore, though the restaurant looks extremely clean and nice, I managed to get food poisoning from the breakfast buffet.

good place to stay if on a budget. clean rooms, but nothing fancy. all and all a nice hotel, with friendly staff. if your looking for a clean cheap room this is the place. close to the beach etc..but if you looking for a romantic getaway, or a hotel with all the ammenaties id go somewhere else...
me gusto mucho la atencion del personal, en realidad excelente, lo malo me toco una habitacion donde el clima no me dejaba dormir... el restaurante riquisima la comida, quede muy contenta regresaria otra vez!!

Es un hotel bueno y cuenta con lo esencial que necesita un turista. Realmente disfrutamos nuestra estancia.

En general, las instalaciones del hotel son muy cómodas; la alberca está limpia, mucha tranquilidad, bueno para vacacionar y para viaje de negocios; la gran ventaja es que hay muchos lugares cercanos.

Como comenté en la parte superior el hotel me parece muy adecuado para estancia familiar sin embargo a diferencia de la primera vez que fui, no encontramos la comodidad de la cocineta, sabemos que resulta dificil el mantenimiento de este servicio en particular, pero también depende de la reglamentación de uso que se le de a este servicio, sin duda si […] así se hiciera funcionaría bien- Read more

"las fotos no son la realidad"
Las habitaciones son totalemnte antiguas con respecto a lo que muestran en las fotos de la pag las camas son viejisimas y en si el internet no hay y realmente no es confortable como parece ser les recomendaria que lo actualizaran en sus instalaciones

"Photos qui survendent l'hôtel!"
L'hôtel est très excentré par rapport au centre ville, il faut nécessairement être véhiculé ou avoir de l'argent à dépenser en taxi. Aucun restaurant aux alentours, vous êtes forcés de manger dans l'hôtel - les prix sont corrects. La chambre était plutôt sale (draps sales, fourmis partout dans la salle de bain), la salle de bain n'est pas climatisée […] alors que la chambre l'est. Las fotos del Hotel Suites Mediterraneo no corresponden ni a la alberca ni a las habitaciones. Recomiendo que lo retiren de su catálogo de ofrecimiento de hoteles. El hotel está en muy malas condiciones: el clima es de ventana muy viejo, el control remoto de la TV no funcionaba de lo viejo y la TV es muy corriente y antigua,

El hotel es agradable, limpio y en buenas condiciones en general, tiene un personal muy amable sobre todo en recepción, la alberca está limpia y en un ambiente familiar muy agradable, el único pero que pondría sería que no hay internet en las habitaciones, sólo en recepción, alberca y restaurante.

Haben das Hotel für 5 Nächte gebucht, aber sind nach einer Übernachtung freiwillig abgereist und haben uns ein anders Hotel ausgesucht.
