The bed is a little too high. If you fall off the bed you will fall about 2 1/2 feet to the ground. They should put a microwave in the room. Other than that a nice room, good location to all the golf courses. Pretty satisfied.

The one issue I had, was the sink not located in the bathroom. My suggestion is a door, maybe a folding door could be an option. I say this because brushing your teeth, combing your hair and other personal needs are best done in private. This is why I rated the comfort of the room a 4.

The BW Pinehurst has small, but comfortable rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel was recently refurbished and is a much better option than other hotels we have tried in the Southern Pines area. I was visiting a friend in a nearby facility, and my GPS didn't pull it up. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, writing out detailed directions for me. This was the second time my husband and I stayed at this hotel and I highly recommend it. Staff is friendly, the rooms were clean and breakfast is good as well. The hotel is located on the main strip connecting downtown Southern Pines and Aberdeen so there are lots of restaurants and stores nearby. They allow pets for $10 a night.

I sleep soundly so it did not bother me but you may want to ask for a room in the back if you want quiet.
