"Clean and Convenient"
Nice place, great price, and clean. Close to the subway and restaurants and bars. Free parking as well! Will stay again - my go to in Brooklyn now.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and convenient. Fantastic for the price!"
Very friendly at check in. Room was typical size for NYC - have paid much more at other hotels for similar size. Rooms were clean, and well laid out. Location close to the L and all of Williamsburg hipster bars. A great reliable hotel for a more than reasonable price. Free parking puts in in the tip top for my future NY trips.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"1-day stay...very pleasant"
Very comfy, great location although the immediate surroundings aren't the best, but its a quick ride/walk to great eateries and Williamsburg's best! small rooms but very clean and great service!!! great deal too!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Reasonably priced for New York City. Room was small but clean; very comfy bed; nice strong hot shower. I would go back. Decent breakfast buffet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Surprisingly nice small hotel in Brooklyn"
Other reviewers have said the room is small and that is true - but not cramped or dark and very nicely decorated. A good window and light. The included breakfast could be a bit upgraded. Overall a very nice hotel!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great little hitel in Brooklyn"
Terrific place. Would recommend it without reservation. Great value for the price. Room was a bit small, but quite functional with a comfortable bed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great for a Brooklyn weekend plus Manhattan"
We loved the free parking and breakfast included and were able to take coffee to our room in the morning. Comfortable beds and pillows but I was a little hot with the big fluffy comforter despite having the heat turned way down. We ate at a very good Italian restaurant very close by, Bemonte's. Brooklyn is the best and we plan to return.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice clean hotel"
The room was a pleasant surprise, very clean and orderly. Just enough room for a nice stay. Very quiet despite overlooking the bypass. Very comfortable mattress and warm quilt. The shower was great, good hot water and plenty of pressure. Plenty of shampoo, body wash and conditioner, plus extras such as q-tips and mini sewing kit. The TV worked great […] and the free breakfast was good enough to get your motor revved for the day (cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, croissants, bagels, teas and coffee). Also, free newspapers and business area with computer access. What more could you ask for the price! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We stayed here for 3 days and it was perfect location walking distance to great restaurants bars and CrossFit gymGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice, but tight space"
Great hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. However, it is directly next to the highway and the working space is minute - even a slender person one can barely fit into the space for the chair at the work station. Limited work lighting as well. A great place nearby to get food is the hot deli (daytime) at the Bolla Market at the Sunoco gas station […] at 497 Meeker Avenue, about 4-5 blocks away. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"gem in brooklyn"
other than the little in-room refer not working, it was a great little hotel. Clean, great beds, way more quiet than you'd think from the location. A few blocks from the L, and neat food places all over. Wireless had occasional issues, but generally was good. Nice staff. Breakfast is carbs and caffeine, Parking onsite. In room safe wasn't quite big […] enough for my laptop. All in all, I'd go back in a heartbeat. My son works for one of the luxury extended stays in Manhattan, and he was impressed too. "Fine for a couple."
The room was very clean and much quieter than I thought it would be. They had taken measures to eliminate the noise of the very near "278". The only down side is the size of the room which is very small.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, small rooms"

"New York price and convenience"
Hotel Le Jolie is located right next to the BQE, midway between what I call "downtown hipsterville" (Bedford Av between N 1st and N 11th) and some other very cool 'hoods in Williamsburg. You'll pay a typically expensive New York price to stay here, given that the room is just about big enough for the queen bed to fit in (and that's it), but the bed's […] firm, the room's clean and neat, the bathroom is decently appointed, and the service is friendly and prompt. It's easy to walk to any number of great neighborhoods, good restaurants and shopping, and has easy access to the L and G transit lines. Little things, like they'll watch your luggage for you if you still have the day ahead after checkout; providing umbrellas to guests (and to guests' son!), and having a car service on call, add up to a superior experience. I'd stay here again in a New York minute! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very comfortable, clean, close to subway."
I was very impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of staff. Plenty of towels, nice continental breakfast, comfortable beds. Convenient to Manhattan from subway and located in a nice area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent in every wayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This was a highly rated hotel, and I expected more from the experience. It was extremely small, and very expensive. It was clean though. The front desk people were pleasant, but they couldn't do anything about the small room or the expense. It felt more to me like a frequent traveler inn for twice the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Solid option in Williamsburg"
Although small, our room was clean, modern, and well laid out with all necessary provisions, and the staff was quite helpful overall. The hotel is near by the BQE and some abandoned buildings in a rapidly changing neighborhood, but the dual windows kept the freeway noise very low and there were no problems. We have tried several options in Williamsburg […] and this provided the best combination of quality at an affordable price, even though it is not as "trendy" as some of the more expensive new options in the neighborhood. In short, a good basic hotel for those wanting to spend the night in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient, hip and free parking!!!"
The staff at Hotel le Jolie is super friendly and accommodating! Our room was small but had a very comfy bed with nice linens and a huge flatscreen. Great water pressure, always a deal-breaker for me! The continental breakfast looked fine but instead we had a very pleasant morning walk toward the East River where we found all kinds of cool breakfast […] places. Definitely would go back! "Good for family visits to area"
We were in a room this time that was near the ice machine, so it was noisy when people used the machine. However, the room was on the first floor, which was very convenient to breakfast room for morning coffee. Quality windows blocked outside noise. My 2nd stay here. Can't beat the on site parking, free breakfast and helpful staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"welcome to Brooklyn"
located on an industrial street, I felt I uncomfortable as a single woman arriving by myself. A security window @ the checkin did not make me feel any better. However, once settled in, I felt better. the breakfast room was pleasant. Breakfast the next morning was fine not great. The staff helpful. When my adult son cameover, we went for a walk in the […] neighborhood which lvely & fun & not far from a subway stop. My room barely had enough space for the bed. "Great place to stay."
Others have complained about the noise because of other occupants in nearby rooms, and highway noise. We could hear the occupants when we were outside the room, but once we entered the room it was fine. Didn't notice the highway noise. Others have complained about the AC/Heater making noise-which it did but I did not find it troublesome. It was great […] to be able to park a car at the hotel (since we drove into town). After that it was easy to leave the car and take the subway. There was a station within easy walking distance to get to Manhattan. Breakfast was very nice and the staff person was friendly and kept the place clean and food replenished. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Parents visiting hipsters"
I like this place. They do everything they can to make your stay comfortable (and it's way better than staying in your kid's apartment). Rooms are small, but that's no surprise in NYC. Breakfast seems better than in the past.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Williamsburg, close to Bedford hot spots"
Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean, comfortable and current. Breakfast was included, cereal, pastries, hard boiled eggs, juice & coffee. Parking on site, as well as plenty available on street and across the street in the lot under the BQE. Located within walking distance of the Bedford area for fun restaurants and night life. Though the […] hotel is across the street from the Brooklyn-Queens Expwy, the double windows kept it pretty quiet in the room. I would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"overall, very good stay"
Clean, good location, friendly staff. Good breakfast layout. Room was well appointed. Only complaint was the air conditioner sounded like helicopter. Even with earplugs it was way too loud and made a loud sound upon starting and stopping like rusty train wheels on a rusty track. But the staff may be able to fix that detail and it may have only been […] in our room, not others. We got in late and there was no time to ask anyone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hotel le Jolie - Brooklyn June 2012"
Hotel le Jolie is very modern, clean and accommodating. "Would definitely stay here again"
Great location for us while we were visiting our daughter in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn! We just walked under the BQE and up Union Street to her apartment. Along the way, we had a great place to stop for coffee (sorry, can't remember the name of it# , another great place where we had Mexican food one evening #La Moderna), etc., etc. All […] of the people working in the hotel were as friendly and helpful as can be. Enjoyed the great continental breakfast several mornings during our stay. The room was lovely with a very efficient air conditioner....a great place to come "home" to after a lot of walking, subway riding, etc. Just a few blocks from a fantastic farmers' market on Saturday morning. Close to the subway stop we needed to use. I would definitely stay here again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Hotel Le Jolie Simple and pleasant"
I stay here because it is a good value and a ten minute walk to see my son, daughter-in-law and new baby. The rooms are very small, but quite pleasant. The free breakfast is more than adequate. Since it's located right next to the BQE (major expressway) the street itself is not very attractive, but I have never been bothered by the noise. Walk a few […] blocks and you will find the funky stores and restaurants Williamsburg is known for, as well as the L train, which gets you into Manhattan in minutes. "Grandma Visits grandson in Williamsburg"
An excellent value--clean rooms, pleasant staff, nice breakfast buffet. Three blocks to the L train which takes you into Manhattan. I'd stay again, though I might get a room with 2 double beds. "Great Hotel Okay Location"
I travel a lot to NYC for work and recently have had to stay in the Brooklyn/Bronx area. It's hard to find a good hotel in this area but I'll be coming back here. I stayed two nights at the Hotel Jolie's attractively designed rooms. Some highlights:although small, the room was well laid out, with attention to details like usability, TV position, storage.
