"Tiny room and bad part of town"
Stayed here Valentines day. Room was old, clean and very small. Decent sized bathroom but king bed took up most of the rm. Nice big lobby and bar but again, very old.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Teddy Roosevelt type theme is nice change from scads of generic "modern" style hotels that abound. Hotel staff were all exceptionally pleasant. Room spotless. Bed and bedding top notch.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Top Notch Service!"
Decided to spend the weekend after our Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl win in Seattle. We just love the Arctic Club. The old historic charm, mixed with the modern amenities. We chose to park at the hotel, although there seemed to be several parking garages all over within a block. That said, the valet was completely worth the cost when you had the wonderful […] service from the valet staff that we encountered...especially when it started snowing. We had a king corner room with spa tub. Very relaxing, room was gorgeous and large. However, I would recommend asking for a room on a higher floor. We were on the 3rd floor, and with all the windows, you could hear everything. Every time we entered the lobby area, we were asked if we wanted a hot cookie. The front desk staff always had a smile, made you feel like you were their only guest, and truly seemed interested in you. Although the hotel is several blocks from most of the attractions, you can easily walk every where. We put in 5.6 miles on Saturday alone according to our fitbit, and we aren't the most fit folks, so even with the Seattle hills, it seemed pretty easy to walk around to all the local places. If you don't want to walk, there are buses all over. Next door to the hotel is Top Pot although not open on the weekend, and a quaint pirosky place you must stop at. All in all, great stay, and we will be back again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Little weekend trip for a one night stay. Upon entering the hotel we were very happy with everything. We wanted to Valet but the concierge told us we could just park on the street for free. Very Cool. I am most critical of the room cleanliness. It was very very clean, like brand new, but it's an older hotel. I was very happy with that - especially that. […] The cookies are always a nice touch too. Would stay here again and i like the fact there's a great bar and restaurant on site. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful classic hotel near central waterfront."
Lovely, classy hotel with old world charm. Former men's club. Only hitch was parking which cost $41.00. Very helpful staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
"soft and comfortable bed"
Greeted by staff regularly. All around elegant hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
We really loved it here and will definitely stay at The Arctic Club again. The staff was one of the friendliest I've ever encountered and the hotel was absolutely gorgeous. It was a perfect mix of modern amenities with old world charm. Our room was very comfortable and we had a lovely view of some of Pioneer Square. However, my only complaint would […] be that the beds are a little hard. It wasn't difficult to sleep but I woke up with an achy back from such a stiff mattress. Other than that the room and hotel were perfect! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"seahawk vs niners football"
the hotel is within .75 walking distance of CenturyLink Field which is ideal to avoid any type of parking issues...there are the homeless people who loiter between the hotel and the field; however, no problems occurred possibly due to the crowd and police presence. The downtown street area is very clean, but a little hilly...didn't expect that, but […] it was good exercise. the hotel is situated within walking distance of restaurants, the public market, and "Chinatown." the hotel staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful and the hotel itself is in great condition. I definitely would stay atthis hotel again should the opportunity arise. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was either in walking distance to many attractions or right across the street from the Pioneer Square to ride the rail. Hotel staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and sightseeing attractions. Very clean hotel. Our room and bathroom was spacious with refrigerator and snacks in the room. Very pleased.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by The Arctic Club Seattle - a DoubleTree by Hilton Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Our staff will be delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. It was a pleasure having you as our guest and we hope to have an opportunity to serve you again soon.
"Fantastic Room in Downtown Seattle"
We enjoyed our stay at the Arctic Club Hotel immensely. The room is cozy and comfortable. Th whirlpool tub was luxurious. The room service was yummy.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Updated historic property in downtown Seattle"
Excellent location, dedicated staff and a beautiful old building, a converted gentleman's club dating from the time of the Yukon Gold Rush. The front desk staff were efficient and very polite. Both the lobby bar and the basement restaurant/bar have an energetic happy hour until 6 pm. The building has been thoroughly renovated both in the public spaces […] and guest rooms. Our room had two queen beds, large and well-appointed bathroom, and was very comfortable. Decor throughout was masculine, with a good mix of old and new features and finishes. Valet parking is the only viable option for overnight stays here, and the parking fee is pretty steep at $41 per night. However, the valet staff were fast, helpful and efficient. Will stay here again if travel brings me to downtown Seattle. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"A little cold at the arctic club."
Seems staff and personnel were not ready or experienced enough with check in to make it pleasant. Took aprox. 40 minutes for check-in. With in a half hour of settling foot in our room the fire alarm went off. Everyone was evacuated and as soon as we made it down the stairs, we were told it was something small in the kitchen. We were then allowed to […] go back to our rooms. Mind you the elevators were turned off, so six flights back up carrying our luggage, no help, no apology, nothing. The bright side has to be that it need the old year with bad times and the new year started better for we were able to check-out of the cold old arctic club. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Our stay was great! We called ahead to ask for advise on the best way to get to the hotel from the airport. We were informed they are directly across the street from the light rail and it would cost $2.75 per person to reach the hotel, which is great because a taxi is close to $50. When we were checked it we were given great information about the hotel, […] everything the hotel had to offer and what sights to see etc. We went up to our room and it was very cute! They have a french press for coffee which was amazing!! They offer you a key to the minibar when you check in so you have the option to accept or not which I loved! The hotel also provides an umbrella for you during your stay which is great!. The bar in the hotel is beautiful and worth at least one drink!! We had an amazing stay and would defiantly stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

this was the first time I had ever used Expedia to book a hotel room and especially one of the unknown until you book it. I was absolutely delightfully surprised. "Elegant and atmospheric"
We loved the sepia toned, post-Victorian-machine-age lobby and room decor that is in keeping with the age and history of the building. Thank you, Hilton, for repurposing this beautiful building so that travelers can enjoy the feeling of old Seattle. The lobby bar, where you can get full food service from the restaurant on the ground floor, is a standout […] amenity. The rooms are fully renovated with many thoughtful touches. If the price point continues to be in the mid-range of Seattle hotels we will definitely be back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
A truly historic stay with the ambiance reminiscent of times past. Very close to the old city center and easy walking distance to wonderful restaurants and the waterfront. We wished the hotel restaurant showed a little more of the historic ambience that graces the rest of the Artic Club. But with everything else so close...you don't have to eat there. "Great service and Location"
This was my second stay at the Arctic Club, and I will definitely be going back. The staff is more than accommodating with any request and the location is fantastic. A ten minute walk will get you to Pikes Market and anything along the shoreline you'd want to see.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awesome hotel to see Seattle"
We stayed to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The concierge helped me plan a surprise for him that was waiting in our room by the time we walked in! Everything was perfect!!! "Visit to Seattle"
I was "upgraded" to a king size bed and full bathroom, which was very kind, however the room was not ready until late in the day. Prior to my 4 pm guaranteed check in time, but only just. I had also been placed on a ground level room that was on the corner of two busy streets that made it difficult to sleep. When I found this out while checking in, […] I had asked to be moved to a different room, but the property was full. Everything else was wonderful, and exactly what I expect from a Double Tree hotel, but overall I was not satisfied with the experience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Arctic club - Seattle"
Hotel was fine - restaurant, JUNO, was not. Food? Very good, Service? okay, Wait time? Horrendous. Staff must not have showed for work - very short-handed. We should have been told that wait was over an hour. Waiter, Adam, was very sweet, and Dining room Manager did take items off, but 5:30-7 and NO main meal? Food finally arrived and was wolfed down […] in order to get to Paul McCartney concert on time. Get it together, JUNO! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old World Charm"
This hotel located in the heart of the city is excellent in every way but also very expensive. The service and staff were impeccable and the room was very comfortable. For the price paid for the room you would think they could at least include a free Wifi connection but this was also extra cost. The hotel industry has gotten to be as bad as the airlines. "TOO SMALL FOR THREE PEOPLE"
THE STAFF WAS GREAT AND THE HOTEL IS GORGEOUS. THE ROOM WAS TOO SMALL FOR A KING BED,WHICH WAS REALLY MORE LIKE A QUEEN,AND A SLEEPER SOFA. WITH THE SOFA OPEN THERE WAS NO ACCESS TO ANY DRAWERS OR THE FRIDGE. FOR $125 A NIGHT I WOULD PUT UP WITH THAT. FOR $ 425 A NIGHT I WOULD NOT. ALSO THE GYM COULD BE BETTER. I WAS A BIT DISAPPOINTED.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I've never liked Seattle"
The Arctic Club was amazing! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming - they were really knowledgeable about their city. "charming hotel in a sea of cookie-cutter "upscale""
Somewhat on the pricey side, but well worth it for a short stay if you consider how rough the cheaper options can get. "One night stay"
We attended an event near downtown Seattle and didn't want to drive home to Woodinville. Finding the hotel was a little difficult, but valet was waiting for us, as he had seen us drive by once (stupid one way streets!) he was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is nicely restored inside, with very clean rooms and pleasing ambiance. We had cocktails […] in the lobby lounge, both before and after our event; wonderful variety, yummy drinks! The bed was very comfortable, incredible sleeping! The next morning, we were able to check our bags for the day and leave our car in the valet, while we enjoyed breakfast at their restaurant and then walked to Pike Street to spend an enjoyable day. My wife and I made a trip to spend time in the great city of Seattle. Our main agenda was to go to the Mariners/Yankees series and fit whatever we could between those games. The ONLY REASON this hotel was chosen was because of the ratings on Expedia. It is conveniently located next to the Pioneer Square terminal from the train. Commuting around downtown […] is a breeze when using that train. Like I said before, we were there for some baseball and Safeco Field is definately within walking distance however if the inner city feel ( homeless vagrants, panhandlers , not as populated with others such as Pike or Pine streets ) is too uncomfortable for you, the train is a better option to get to the stadiums. Back to the Arctic Club. The moment we checked in we were greeted with smiles and courtesy that reflect well for any business that may be taking a large amount of your money. We checked in early because of our flight time and our room was not ready however we needed to be at the ballpark for the game so the bellhop locked our bags in a secure area and were safe and sound by the time we got back from the game. Our room was gorgeous . My wife was particularly impressed by the high ceilings and the quiet hallways. I was happy with the great room service and large desk so I could conduct a bit of work without hogging any lounging space. The Arctic Club by Doubletree is now a mainstay for future plans to Seattle. As always the mouth watering fresh cookies are a great greeting too! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very Good But Not Great!"
Was GREAT for hotel to be just across the street from the Pioneer Square Light Rail station from the airport! Based on other suggestions, asked for "highest floor king room available", but only got in No. 416. Have to get higher if you want a view. Some nighttime noises from the hotel walls. Sounded like steam pipes! Seattle is hilly, and prepare to […] be a "walker" if that is your way to get around. Lots of public transportation options, but also plenty food/entertainment within walking distance. One caveat, if you rent a car, get from Budget location on 4th just around the block, and you get to use their in/out garage day and night for just a "tip" to the attendant.
