"Great Location, Staff & Room"
This hotel is in a great location in the financial district about a block uphill from Pioneer Square and something like two blocks uphill and ~5 blocks south of Pike's Market. It is right on the light rail tunnel and main bus lines. The ferry terminal is a few blocks downhill. The only slight negative on the location is that the street population gets […] a little more sketchy being close to Pioneer Square; however, not bad enough to avoid the location. The room and staff were fantastic. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"great location, but have to pay a lot for parking"
Nice hotel, but overpriced. Excellent location. I do not like that you have to pay for valet parking. If you are paying a lot to stay at a nice hotel, you should get free parking. Nickel and diming your customers is disrespectful. I also did not like that the bar is not open in the middle of the day. We wanted to hang out at the hotel and have a drink […] on a sunday but were not able to because the bar was closed. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Historic Artic Club"
The lobby had the feel of a men's club which was kind of historical. Nice place. It was walking distance to all kinds of great coffee, deli shops.Genuine Expedia guest review

Great location. Lovely hotel. Attention to detail extraordinary. Parking a bit spendy. But, overall, we had a fabulous time and would have loved to stay longer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Charming Classy Hotel"
This was our third time staying at the Arctic Club. We love the personal attention, the decor, and the luxury of the rooms. However, during this stay, there was a false fire alarm that woke us from a deep sleep around midnight. We spent about 30-40 minutes evacuated from the hotel. While this was not the fault of the hotel or its employees, we felt […] that they should have offered us something like a drink voucher or a bottle of wine. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location in Downtown Seattle"
The hotel has a great location in downtown Seattle. The standard rooms are small with no area to sit- other than the bed. This was fine for us since we spent all of our time seeing the city. The hotel provides many amenities in the room including a mini bar that we could use to store food and drinks. Freshends flushable wipes would be great for this […] hotel and a finishing touch to all the other amenities provided. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great hotel in superb downtown location"
The staff at the Arctic Club was really terrific. They made the experience very high end and extremely easy. The hotel decor maintains the building history as a men's exploration club in tasteful ways. The rooms were a bit small, but that is to be expected in an older property. It has been well updated and kept up very nicely. This hotel is also in […] a great location for exploring all of downtown Seattle. Our first room was right next to the elevator, which was loud, but they moved us the next day without much problem and were very nice about that. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Fantastic upscale Seattle hotel"
All the staff were very curteous, friendly and professional. Those manning concierge desk were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The only downside was the "free" internet service was limited the lobby area and the hotel computers were very slow.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Old fashioned charm and service"
We arrived tired and disheveled after a long day cycling and traveling. The staff could not have been more helpful to make us feel refreshed and relaxed from taking our bags, to checking us in, to suggestions for restaurants. We've stayed in many hotels, some much more expensive, but the staff here rate the absolute best!!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I have traveled the world and stayed in many, many 5 star famous hotels, but this quaint hotel met each and every one of my needs. They seem to anticipate what you need and provide it immediately. The staff was very helpful, the food was good, the location was fine, and my room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and if I ever return to Seattle […] I will stay here. "Not really a 4 star hotel"
I booked two weeks ahead of time and requested a room with a view...The room I got was on the ground floor, next to the cab stand/valet, and across the street from a giant abyss where a building had been demolished. Very UNPLEASANT to look at. There is a lot of deferred maintenance in this building...The awnings in the front are faded and dirty. Inside, […] it is dark, the carpets are worn, the drapes in my room would not close properly until I absolutely ripped them closed, the reading lamp was not working...No, not the light bulb-I checked. The place looks like it is about ready to fold. Don't be fooled by the pictures online...I don't know who took them but they are quite misleading IMO. On the good side, the bedding was clean and nice, pillows were great and the bed was fairly comfortable. Linens were clean and nice and staff was very pleasant and helpful. It wasn't the worst place I ever stayed, but for the price they charged I expected something a lot better and in better repair. Just a tired old place. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The staff where very helpful and welcoming. The hotel was very quite at the loopy I didnt see many guests. The room was nice and very noisy, all the traffic on the street seems to inside your room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
one of the bedside lamps was not working. The decor and furnishings of the room were a little too contrived for my taste. The citron soap didn't have a pleasant fragrance. Also, I prefer the standard issue coffeemaker. Trying to figure out a new coffee making system first thing in the morning is not my idea of fun. But I loved the Juno restaurant for […] breakfast. 5 stars for that restaurant. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Great location and very friendly staff.....you can walk to most sites and you need a cab it's very cheap.....the hotel restaurant Juno was also excellent....try the dungeoness crab omlette!!!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was great and the location is perfect for a weekend in Seattle. Our only complaint was that when our room was cleaned they did not replace the glassware. We also asked for an extra coffee cup as a friend was joining us in the morning, and we had to call and ask for it a second time. Aslo, the bar in the lobby is beautiful but the bartender, […] Viktor, was not very friendly. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Historic hotel well worth the visit"
Neat, historic hotel just a few steps off the light rail that we rode from the SeaTac airport. Convenient to the Pioneer Square neighborhood and just a few blocks from the water taxi to Alki Beach. "Awesomely different hotel...in the Ghetto."
Really neat hotel. Amazing 1920-30's decoration. Awesome. It's also in/around Seattle's Pioneer Square which gets a little seedy at night. And our room's air conditioner was broken and it leaked quite a bit of water into our bathroom.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenience and Care"
We very much enjoyed staying at the Arctic Club. The frontdesk staff were tremendously courteous and helpful. They provided sound advice about all the questions we had about seeing Seattle. The location is very good--short walks to Pike Market, Safeco Field, etc. and a tube transit station about ten yards from the hotel. The room was a bit small for […] three people, as is often the case with older buildings, but the walrus door number and TARDIS blue room door really made up for that. "Wish we could have stayed loner"
We didn't get to fully enjoy our stay like I wish we could have. We got stuck in traffic Friday afternoon went to a M's game and they would only give us till 11:30 late check out and to top it off, it cost $41.00 to park the car.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Big Room and Great Staff!"
Great hotel within an easy walk to Pioneer Square! Our room was quite large and very comfortable! Staff was very friendly! We were very pleased and intend to come back if we end up on this side of town again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Arctic Club Hotel - MUST SEE!"
We booked this hotel for only one night before our cruise to Alaska. Best hotel staff I have seem for a long time, and you MUST try the water in the hotel lobby! DELICIOUS! Nice touches like warm cookies for the guests and Washington apples in the lobby. I chose this hotel because they are different! If you want a cookie cutter hotel room, do not […] stay here! The decor is unique in the guest rooms and even the bathrooms! Hotel has a lot of history behind it. The hotel bar was great with a wonderful bartender. When we arrived at the hotel form the airport, the staff had all our luggage out of the town car before we even realized it! Very accomodating staff! "Close to Centurylink Field"
Great place to stay if attending event at Centurylink Field. Rooms are clean. Beds are very comfortable. Staff are very friendly. A bit pricy but worth it for the comfort and location. "Missed warnings, break downs, noisy neighborhood"
After talking to the front desk we were told it was ok to park in the adjacent garage but were warned it was "unsecured". This was not true, the garage was locked up for the weekend which made us stranded in Seattle an additional day. We had 3 electrical items, including the air conditioning break down in one day and when the room was cleaned the next […] day they did not replenish coffee and creamer. Throughout the night there were police sirens in the echo of downtown skyscrapers. To his credit and after much negotiation the front desk manager contacted the garage manager and we were able to get our car out Sunday morning, however there was another couple that stayed at the hotel in the same situation, we don't know if they ever got their car out. Bartender is amazing. Reminded me of the most interesting man in the world. Hotel has a 1920s-1930s feel to it with a modern flare. Good location -- 5 minutes from the pier. Bar food was delish. Bed was comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful Hotel, Service not so great....."
The hotel was close to restaurants, we walked everywhere. The service was less than, our room was not ready at 4pm (check in time), although we had called earlier requesting an earlier check in time, they declined....saying the room had to be cleaned. They had 2.5 hrs to clean it before 4, and it still wasn't done when we got there at 4....frustrating […] when we had to get ready for dinner reservations, and the bell service delivered our bags (from our car, not the airport) late as well. No one offered to help find the restrooms, just overall sucky service. Dissapointed, as three girlfriends away from the kiddos & hubbies for the weekend...Gorgeous hotel though. "Wonderful hotel, lots of character"
They really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. It was the location of my friends wedding, and the building has an absolutely stunning interior. My room was very comfortable, definitely worth it to upgrade to the jetted bathtub. My only complaint is that there were too many incidental charges. A USA today shows up at your door in […] the morning unless you call the desk and tell them to not deliver it. They charge you .75 if you don't call the front desk. Seriously? How about I call you if I really want to pay for this outdated from of media. Room service was also unbelievably over priced and very average. Too many fees tacked onto everything. Ended up paying about an extra 100 bucks for parking, ordering dessert, and random incidentals like that worthless newspaper. I would return, but with a better eye on any charges that might come my way. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A unique touch of Old Seattle"
The Arctic Club is a beautiful old former private club in downtown Seattle. The main entrance is on one of Seattle's steep side streets, which makes it tricky to park at, and has lovely (but steep) marble steps and no ramp. There is another entrance on the flat numbered street, but we couldn't find it even with GPS in the car, and we ended up calling […] the front desk for help. They were very nice, and even sent a valet parking attendant on foot to retrieve the car from where we gave up and left it. Inside it's a combination of original classic dark-wood-and-leather decor with updated carpets and spacious interior, with portraits of native Alaskans on the walls recalling the place's origin as a private club for those who made their fortune in the gold rush and made it back to Seattle with their gains intact. The furniture in the rooms is NOT original, and thank goodness for that--it's much more comfortable and large than period furniture would have been, but retains the look that makes the Arctic Club special. The hexagonal tiles in the bathroom were a particularly nice touch. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great hotel for the location we were looking for!"
We were attending an event at the Columbia Tower Club and wanted a hotel close by. The Arctic Club Hotel couldn't have been more perfect - it was right across the street. This is a former gentleman's club that was turned in to an office building and then renovated in to a hotel in 2008. It's got an "old school" feel to it which we found very charming. […] From the staff waiting on the front steps to help us with our bags to the front desk staff, everyone was very pleasant. The lobby has a great bar area which is dimly lit and looks very cozy. Our room was spacious (contrary to other reviews we'd read) and was very comfortable. It was clean and very quiet except for street noise which one would expect staying in downtown Seattle. We had breakfast at Juno (the restaurant downstairs) and while it wasn't over-the-top fabulous, it was good and wasn't too expensive. We would absolutely return to this hotel. On a side note, we did not need parking - since we arrived on a Saturday evening and left Sunday morning, we were able to find free street parking. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
