2ND time staying here. The only complaint is that if you are catching an early flight (11am) breakfast isn't served until 8. Wish they would open for breakfast by 7am. Even inquired at the desk and there was no budging. But other than that very pleased.

I recently stayed at the princess hotel for 13 nights and was completely satisfied with my single room for the duration of my trip. The room was as advertised and pictured. It had a nice sink and vanity mirror, a tv with plenty of channels, a small desk with chair, and a small cabinet to hang clothes in, not to mention a one person bed. The room also […] had a nice opening window for good ventilation. The temperature of the room was quite comfortable. There were two bathrooms and two showers on the floor in my area which was more than adequate for all the people staying in the single rooms. I never ran into a time when all the bathrooms and showers were occupied. Breakfast each morning consisted of three different meats, one type of cheese, two types of bread for toasting, two types of cereal(one corn flakes and the other granola), orange juice, milk, butter, jams, jellies, and chocolate spread. Also included in breakfast was coffee, tea, hot chocolate, mochas, cappuccinos, and cafe con leche. It was more than adequate and filling. As far as the location, it was a few blocks to the museums, zoo, coffee shops, and other attractions. There is also a grocery store across the street which was very convenient. The free wifi was great. The only drawback to the internet was the hours of availability (the wifi was only on from 10am to 11pm). The room was cleanly. If you like clean towels every day, make sure you tell the front desk or ask and they will be provided to you. The room was cleaned and made up every day and was satisfactory. The noise from other travelers was minimal and I had no problem getting sleep. As far as safety, I felt completely safe in the surrounding neighborhood and in the hotel. This is the most gross and worst serviced hotel we have ever stayed in Europe. We were bitten all over by bed bugs. I got up at night to catch bed bugs several times during the night. The bathroom floor is slippery meaning it was not cleaned. At night, we heard the rats chewing the ceilings. The quality of the reakfast was also the worst. This place was pretty easy to get to from Schipol airport or the Centraal station. The neighborhood is great! It is close to the tourist attractions, but when you're not in the mood for the tourist stuff there are lots of little local places. The rooms were a little dirty, but they service the room everyday and try to keep it as clean as possible. […] The bathrooms are shared, which is a little annoying - but I guess you get what you pay for? I've been here for four days out of fourteen, so far my room hasn't been cleaned once, not has my towels been replaced. The hotel is also not a hotel but a hostel, with a few single rooms no bigger than a cupboard. The free wifi is accessed by a piece of paper printed out with login details, that have to be imputed every five mins (why they didn't use […] a standard router and password setup is beyond). This is a great little hotel not far away from the heart of amsterdam, really fast on the tram and around a 30/40 minute walk from Centraal Station, with Vondel park a two minute walk away and the Heineken experience also very close.The hotel staff were friendly and allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel after we checked out for our convenience. The location is fine and quite handy, but I didn't want to stay inside the hotel for longer than needed - luckily there's lots to see and do in Amsterdam itself. Definitely not value for money . Room was too small . 1 common bathroom for 6 rooms . No proper amenities/toiletries provided . I had to ask the receptionist for towels and I could not get them on the first day . Check in time was 2 pm on Friday for me but I was told I could not check in until 330 pm . Hotelli oli hinta-laatusuhteeltaan hyvä: huone oli siisti ja aamiaistila viihtyisä. Palvelu oli hyvää. Ongelmana oli kuitenkin vesivahinko, jonka takia huoneen katto oli homeessa. Tämä vaikutti sisäilmanlaatuun. Hotelli ei ollut varsinainen biletyspaikka, vaan rauhallinen. Sopii hieman vanhemmille ja esim. pariskunnille.

La habitación apestaba a húmedo y estaba prohibido abrir las ventanas, el suelo era de moqueta y no parecía muy limpio...nuestra habitación tenía un perqueño balcón que daba a la habitación contigua y no se podía cerrar la puerta con pestillo así que se encontraban totalmente conectadas y al mismo tiempo sin intimidad. Las escaleras de acceso eran muy […] empinadas y costosas de subir, el baño y la ducha eran compartidos y el primero era un tanto diminuto...el WiFi era gratuito pero de poca calidad. En contrapartida, el desayuno no era nada del otro mundo pero era aceptable. El trato por parte del personal era por lo general muy bueno. La localización no está nada mal, a pocos pasos del hotel encontramos restaurantes, un supermercado, un bonito parque y el tramvia para poder moverse fácilmente por la ciudad. La sala de desayuno se convertia en sala de estar durante el día (8-23h), hay servicio de recepción las 24h del día. Además, el hotel contaba con una buena seguridad (no podías entrar sin tarjeta y si no tenias porque ibas a hacer el check in debías decir en la puerta a través del interfono el nombre al cual iba la reserva). But during the first night happens the big thing: Some alarm broadcaster went on at 5'o'clock in the morning for several hours, repeating in average each 20min. Plutôt bien situé mais carrefour bruyant. Au pied du tram n°1. Petit hôtel avec une salle de petit déjeuner sympa, des douches et des toilettes toute nouves, sur les paliers. Par contre les chambres sont vétustes, des fils électriques installés n'importe comment, des taches de fuite d'eau au plafond, des matelas dans un état pitoyable.
