Years ago I had stayed at the Manhattan Motel (now Glendale Motel) a few blocks up the street on Colorado. That motel was absolutely horrible. But the Chariot was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and the bathroom fixtures were fine quality. The TV was large and the HDMI port worked with my MacBook Pro, but unfortunately the TV didnt recognize […] the USB thumb drive. There were 3 chairs in the room but the seat was separating from one of them. There were plenty of power outlets on the walls. All in all it was a pleasant stay! Read more

this motel had a high web rating but it is really almost a dive in an expensive neighborhood which made its price much higher than it should have been. The proprietor said if I had hunted harder I would have found better deals for his motel and for higher-scale hotels. The 1st day left a lot to be desired, not up to our expectations - no towels, had not been cleaned properly, etc., The 2nd day all was taken care of and cleaned thoroughly. Swimming pool pump was very noisy and messy. Everyone tried to be helpful.

The hotel is very clean, reasonable and within half an hour drive from Hollywood Blvd sights. I will stay there again. Staff were very accommodating as well. Coffee and danish available for breakfast.

I scoured reviews for a while and chose the Chariot Inn because it was inexpensive, had high cleanliness ratings, and seemed to be in a fine neighborhood. It was just that! I visited the Burbank/Glendale area for my daughter's HS graduation. We wanted an economical hotel because of budget constraints. I was pleased with the Chariot, although older it was well kept. The hotel was clean and the rooms and bathrooms were quite enough for a two day stay. We saved money but were still close to the areas and friends that we wanted to visit. The parking lot was safe and off the street. We felt quite comfortable, plus the room had a small fridge and a small microwave.

The room was comfortable, though not fancy. Morning coffee in the lobby, but not in the room. I would stay there again, but there are many other places in the immediate area, and I think I will try one of them next time as the facility did not seem exceptional.
