"close to ferry terminal"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very satisfied overall. I found the reception staff very helpful and accommodating. Very handy for the Ferries and shopping in Liverpool
"Good Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Hotel in excellent location for Chester visit, enjoyed spa facilities, including pool, jacuzzi, sauna. Thought breakfast overpriced at £12 per person, therefore made separate arrangements.
"Close to the city within the countryside"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
An excellent hotel. Friendly owners, enormous breakfasts, attentive service and in a lovely location.
"Loved our stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
The Mercure Oak was very conveniently located for Wigan town centre and the room was small bur perfectly formed. The bed was enourmous and incredibly comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly so I couldn't ask for more expecially for such a good price.

"Perfect"
My friend and I booked the hotel out of default as all other hotels seemed to be booked for that weekend. We thought the pictures and location looked fine for our shopping trip. When we arrived we were surprised by how majestic it was, we double checked out booking before we went in!! The view from our window looked right over the docks, the Liverpool […] Wheel and Echo Arena. Perfect if you were going to a concert. We had to catch the ferry back to the Isle of Man on the Sunday night, we checked out on Sunday morning and they were kind enough to lock our bags up until we were ready to go to the ferry. This meant we could do some more shopping without having to carry everything with us. Pizza Express is also right outside the door also. Definitely recommend it for shopping, Echo Arena, catching the ferry and socialising. Read more
"Great Location"
Great stay of two nights in 3 person room, wife and son. Excellent quality for rate. Location is great next to Albert Dock, never got into Liverpool as there is so much around the Dock to see and do. Lady who hosts the breakfasts (Chrstine, I think) is great, very proud and passionate scouser and very informative.
"nice hotel-not enough staff on reception"
really nice hotel well located for city centre. We stayed for two nights. Key problem for me is that there was a conference across the road and it was busy. Everytime you wanted the simplest thing from reception you had to wait a long time. Not enought staff around to help out.
"Top spot"
Central to bus station for airport or bus to anfield.nextdoor to echo arena!
"Clean and Convenient"
Excellent value for our short break in Liverpool, Hotel is modern, clean and convenient for all central locations and Albert Dock, Museums etc.Staff were courteous and friendly

"Jurys Inn Hotel, Kiverpool. How convenient"
We stayed at the Jurys Inn Hotel in Liverpool, having attended a concert at the Echo Arena that same night. How convenient it was to just walk a matter of yards from the arean to the hotel.

Were turned away on arrival at 1600, room wasn't ready, eventually got booked in at 1835 when the room is paid for from 1400. Others guests had been waiting in reception since then. When you've got tables and concerts booked, not very good!

everything was very good lovely will stay again soon
"location"
I booked this hotel to coinside with a trip to see disney on ice. The location to the arena was fantastic could not have been nearer. There was a little confusion over car parking. Overall very happy with my stay and will definately stay again when we go shopping at Liverpool One.

"Jurys Inn Liverpool - poor standards"
At breakfast we had to clear our own table before we sat down due to lack of staff. Breakfast food was of a very poor standard, bacon was left by one and all. Bar snacks - had to give back a ham sandwich with mustard due to sandwich being smothered in mustard, it looked like the whole jar had been poured on, completely inedible. Bar area - overall cleanliness […] was of the poorest I have seen in a hotel in Liverpool. Again due to lack of staff nobody was clearing up and this left tables with plates with left over food and glasses needing to be cleared before we sat down. On the floor were food remains and paper napkins. I would not recommend this hotel, more like a 2* than a 3*. Read more
"Jurys Inn Liverpool"
Great hotel, fabtastic location for the echo arena, Albert docks & Liverpool one. Would definately recommend & return. Hotel staff polite & friendly and hotel room very clean & comfortable.
"Location, location, location"
I booked this hotel for a few days away for my wife to see Liverpool and to experience the city as it is now, rather than how I remembered it 20 odd years ago. Overall, service was very good throughout our stay; the room was clean and well stocked. TV worked, beds were comfortable enough and there was more than enough spare bedding when the weather […] turned. Breakfast was the usual for British hotels, a fat laden fry up or an attempt at a European continental breakfast with baguettes, croissants, fruit and yogurt; but as it's effectively, an all you can eat buffet, pretty good for the price. The only drawback was a water problem on the last day resulting on no hot water for the hotel; we were offered a late check out after the problem was repaired but unfortunately needed to be on the road fairly early. Parking is on the ACC car park and you get a 25% discount for staying at the hotel. personally, I despair at hotels using parking as a money spinner, but as we travel a lot I have come to accept that in harbour destinations there isn't a lot you can do. The charges are quite favourable compared to some places we have stayed, and there is not another real long stay parking option in the area. The main selling point for this hotel is it's location: Next door to the ACC and Albert Dock complex. 5 minutes walk from Liverpool One and Museum of Liverpool. 10 minutes from the Matthew St quarter or Mersey ferry terminal. Unless you are willing to pay 2, or possibly 3 times what this hotel would cost using others in the area, you can't really go wrong. Read more
"Jury's Inn Liverpool"
The only think that let this hotel down was the temperature of the water in the shower in the evening, it was too cold. Other than that the hotel was in a great location and the breakfast was very nice.
"Jurys inn - not family friendly"
Lots of stags and hens at the hotel on the same weekend as us. Noise in the corridors went on to 4/5 in the morning therefore wouldnt recommend bringing small children for a stay at jurys inn. Nightclubs on your doorstep other clubs are just 5 mins away as well as all the shopping!
"Jury inn liverpool"

All good except bath water not hot enough
"jurys, liverpool."
spent one night here in March 2012. ideal location to see the sights of Liverpool and enjoy the entertainment and restaurants. all within an easy walk. the hotels position is great, over looking the Albert docks and the Mersey. the rooms are fresh and modern (typical to most modern hotels; premier, holiday inn etc) Breakfast was bountiful and tasty. […] the staff very helpful. car parking was within the Echo Arena, secure, car park, next door. a great night. Thanks Jury's. Read more

"Jurys Inn - Liverpool - paper thin walls"
We had a terrible night's sleep thanks to the lack of soundproofing in the room, an amorous couple next door, drunken people partying in the corridor at 3am etc. I'd never stay here again.
"Jury's Inn Liverpool - Great location & hotel"
We had a great stay at this hotel. Service, especially at reception was excellent. Our room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making, a flat screen tv, hairdryer, iron etc. It is in a great position for all the attractions of Liverpool especially The Albert Dock and the The Echo Arena & Conference Centre. We are already […] planning to use this hotel for our next stay in Liverpool. Read more
Fantastic hotel. Really clean, staff very friendly and polite. Would definitely stay here again.

"Great location"
Sitting next to albert Dock, this hotel is ideally situated for the bars, museums and restaurants by the dock (as well as the arena) and also is still only 5 minute walk from the main shopping area in Liverpool.

"Jury's Inn: three stars for the price of four"
Avoid this hotel in Winter! They turn -off heating in the night and it is freezing. Food is DISGUSTING. But therefore the service is very nice, wonderful, helpful PEOPLE that make the experience of staying in this hotel tolerable. The location is excellent, breathtaking surroundings of what is probably the most succesful regeneration project in the […] world. The rooms are good size, with comfy beds. It will be ok to stay there in warm season, but if you are fussy like myself take your own pillow with you because the pillows are big and rather hard. Read more
We enjoy our overnight stay although we need to ask for duvet for the other sofa bed. it was very convinient for the venue and few walks to the town centre.
"Ideal location"
Excellent hotel could not fault it.good price, location, easy to get to and rooms are really nice.
we came to stay for a night and found the hotel to be fine we were available to check in in the morning as our room was ready and it was a large room for myself and my boyfriend, liverpool it self is a fab city and we will definatley be returning.
"Jury's Liverpool, very handy for the O2 Arena"
We found Jury's the perfect location for a one night stay, the main purpose of our trip was the strictly tour at the O2, shopping and dining. We were lucky to be able to check in to our rooms at 9am which was excellent. Our only complaint was the service in the bar area was slow due to not enough bar staff, and the seating in the bar area was too cold, […] it was icy outside and the air conditioning was on! This did not encourage us to by another drink! Breakfast was good, but needed the food to be topped up quicker. Read more

"good location"
check in was busy but the line moved quite quickly, the receptionist was very friendly and allocated us a room on the 4th floor with views of the echo arena, wheel and waterfront. The room had a double and a single bed although only 2 of us were staying. the room was clean and tidy the only dissapointing aspect was those guests who come in at 3.30am in […] the morning and decided to wake others up however thats not the hotels fault. The hotel is located near the waterfront so good location for the albert dock and liverpool one. Overall a pleasant stay Read more
"Jury's Albert Dock. Liverpool"
Stopped over in Liverpool to break up long journey, My husband and I were amazed at the change..having not been to Liverpool for 20 years.Albert Dock complex is absolutely fantastic and Jury's is well placed. Got an excellent deal complete with breakfast ...superb value. Rooms warm and comfortable...slept well. Ate in the bar...food very good and reasonably […] priced. Breakfast excelllent....but they need to sort out queuing problem as toasting machine placed at the end of cooked breakfast queue....caused a few problems. Toaster would be better placed away from main breakfast area. Car park nearby...easy walking distance and a discount for residents of hotel.Would definitely recommend especially at such a reasonable rate. Read more

"Nice hotel"
We stayed here on NYE and it was a nice place and in a good location, however, when returning to the hotel at 4am there was security on the door with a checklist of names/no.s of all room, so if you've got a guest - they're not getting in!
"Overnight stay"
I booked into Jury's for an overnight stay when taking my son back to university. It's my second stay - it's well run, warm and comfortable and very reasonably priced. My room was bigger than average, had spare blankets and good quality toiletries - I would highly recommend the hotel.
"Jurys Inn - pretty nice"
Jurys Inn in Liverpool was nice, and what you'd expect - perhaps better. Everything seemed very clean and well maintained. Had the feel of a nicer hotel. Only downside was the bar- which was an attractive enough bar but with overpriced drinks, not great service and tables that were not cleaned regularly enough. If you can live with this (I could), then […] this hotel is recommended. We went to see a Liverpool match and learned it was not in the best location for this, but perfect for shoppers. Read more

no hot water to have a bath complained to staff but did not seam to understand english so gave up . If you do not want to que for half hour or longer for breakfast make sure you are up early.
"Festive Break - excellent value"
Stayed for 2 nights on Christmas Deal. Hotel busy but rooms lovely and quiet. Breakfast the usual choices but plenty to eat! Superb views of Liverpool eye (big wheel) and across to the Mersey.
