I have stayed at this hotel several times and have never had a complaint. Kitchenette is perfect with all utensils stocked, stove (no oven), and full size fridge / freezer. My wife and I stay when in town visiting family and use the kitchen to prepare meals to bring to the family (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.). They have Tupperware containers which […] is a fantastic addition in our case. Modern furniture makes for a great appearance. There is a “kitchen cupboard” available in the lobby which also comes in handy - it stocks snacks, movies, medicine, etc. There is a gas grill in the back next to a gazebo. Staff has always been friendly. Safe location, next to a Meijer store and gas station which is convenient. Close to the highway. I will stay here again! Tip: Although the in room freezers do have an auto ice maker, it is empty and off upon arrival and there is not a general ice maker in the hotel. So if you are like me and like to have a nice cold cocktail after a long drive, pick up a bag of ice at the gas station next door on the way in. Read more

The entire hotel and inside our room was spotless. Front desk clerk was very nice. Appreciated the kitchenette and brought in our own bagels & juice to enjoy there for breakfast. Convenience shop very useful, with free coffee and tea. Computer/internet access was convenient. Very nice laundry/gym area would be great for traveling or long stay. I travel all over the continental US and it is always a pleasure staying at one of these hotels. The price for particular hotel was alot better than some of the others that offered less. The amenities are excellent especially when I'm there for a couple of days, I go buy my groceries and cook my meals right there in the room, and the laundry is FREE! […] It comes in handy when you get the call saying that you need to go somewhere and fix something and you only packed x amount of clothes. Unfortunately, I entered my room and there was a horrible odor that permeated throughout the room the entire time I was there. I called the front desk and the clerk brought air freshner to alleviate the order and it worked for awhile. 2 hours later the odor was back and stayed for the remainder of my stay. The hotel was very clean and extremely quiet. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud- perfect firmness/softness and had three wonderful pillows. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and will be likely to stay again. The only downside is the location which can be tricky to find at first but worth every penny!

Stayed here several times and will stay again. Very clean room, comfortable bed. There is a desk if you are a business traveler. Kitchenette is perfect, full size refrigerator. There is a mini "convenient store" with snacks, Ramen noodles, frozen dinners, toiletries, etc., and you can rent DVDs. Room is equipped with a DVD player. Radio alarm has an […] MP3 hookup. There is an ice maker in the freezer (cleaned therefore empty upon arrival) however there is no ice machine in the building so bring a bag of ice if you like a cold drink when you arrive. After a very full day at ISU, we were welcomed to our room. Tastefully decorated, very comfortable beds. The bathroom was nestled in a corner of the room, allowing for much more space. Being 6'2", I actually fit in the shower. Will stay here again.

I did not appreciate the fact that there was no housekeeping for a week. If I wanted clean towels, I had to drag them down to the lobby for clean ones. Bad concept. This was a no services hotel at a full rate cost.

Staff was friendly. The room was ideal - well designed, clean and beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the stay was quiet. The hotel is easy to reach from the highway but no outside noise in the room.

Ich hatte das Hotel geschäftlich für drei Nächte gebucht und bin mit dem Aufenthalt insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Bei der Gliederung meiner Beurteilung orientiere ich mich an den Bewertungskategorien von hotel.com. Hotelservice: Ich habe keinen besonderen Service in Anspruch genommen. Allerdings empfinde ich das kostenlose und schnelle WLAN/WiFi sowie […] den "Cupboard"-24h-Shop als Pluspunkt. Die Rezeption brachte beim Check-in etwas bei meiner Online-Buchung durcheinander, es klärte sich aber schnell auf. Zustand des Hotels: Das gesamte Hotel inklusive Parkplatz machte einen sehr ordentlichen und gepflegten Eindruck. Den Fitnessraum habe ich nicht aufgesucht, er wirkte jedoch sauber und modern. Man merkt, dass alles auf Zweckmäßigkeit ausgelegt ist, aber das ist kein Nachteil. Sauberkeit der Zimmer: Ich habe keine Haare oder sonstige Spuren des Vorgängers entdeckt (aber auch nicht danach gesucht). Alles machte einen sauberen und behaglichen Eindruck. Gleiches gilt für das Bad. Zimmerkomfort: Ein Zimmer im Stile eine Suite, inklusive Küchenzeile, Schreibtisch, Sessel, großem Bett, LCD-TV, DVD-Player, usw. Das Bett war bequem, in der Küche alles vorhanden, was man zur Selbstversorgung braucht (Toaster, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Herd). Lediglich der Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer schien aufgrund seiner Lautstärke nicht auf der Höhe der Zeit gewesen zu sein. Teilweise ist die Fassade durch Fluter nachts taghell erleuchtet, so dass die lichtdichten Vorhänge durchaus sinnvoll sind. Lage des Hotels/Umgebung: Das Hotel liegt im Osten der Stadt, nahe der I-55 (Chicago -- St. Louis), in der Nähe versch. Einkaufsgelegenheiten. Bis zur Illinois State University sind es etwa 2 Meilen. Insgesamt liegt das Hotel recht ruhig im unspektakulären Randbereich der Stadt. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel für geschäftlich/allein Reisende guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen würde dort zu diesem Zweck wieder übernachten. Read more
