Nice property. However, did not pay proper attention to noise control and smoking. Had to ask to be relocated from noisy clients. Had to report smokers... in adjoining "no smoking" room. I went to douglas, ga for a school event that was being held the next morning. My stay at the Holiday Inn Express was really great. The hotel was easily to find. The person who did my check in the night before had a beautiful, friendly , attitude. She welcomed us and made my night . She even greatly me by my first name. Great hotel......

Check-in took more time than usual due to the fact that we had reserved five rooms. However, Bronda, the clerk at check-in, was extremely kind and hard working. We were in town for the funeral of my mother-in-law, and the hotel was very accomodating. Although I, personally, reserved only 5 rooms, I imagine that other family and friends reserved at least […] another 10 rooms. The quality of the food at the breakfast was very poor in quality, quantity and selection. The eggs were cold and watery. The coffee bland. The pancake machine did not work. Ive have stayed in every hotel in Douglas and this hotel has to be one of the best hotels I've stayed in.the room was gorgeous.The bed was comfy.The tv could had more channels.The staff is very nice and attentive.The pool,sauna,and jacuzzi were just amazing.Even though the pool could have been a bit warmer and the jacuzzi could have been warmer.The […] breakfast was just amazing. I always stay at Holiday Inn Express when I visit my relatives during the holidays and I am always pleased. My only con about the hotel would be the breakfast is NASTY, the eggs are not real and there should be more fresh fruit.
