My friend and I stayed for just one night. The staff was friendly, the hotel was adorable. There was free parking and breakfast was provided. Had no problems with anything and the location was a quick walk to Duval street. We had a great time!

This hotel is a great option to stay in Key West, located about 7 blocks from Duval ST. They offer a good included breakfast. The hotel is very nice, it has the typical wood architecture from the houses of the key. Also has a very nice pool. Loved staying there nice environment and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. Pool area relaxing and not crowded. Hotel is being renovated in areas but was no problem since we were out all day. Air conditioner was noisy but ear plugs helped. Comfy beds, bathroom is small but doable. Overall very nice stay would and will go back.

A little farther away from Duval than we would've liked. Maids never came to make the room while were gone during the day. No fridge/Microwave in room. Rather small rooms and even smaller showers.

The hotel location is okay, but the "parking lot" has about three spaces. The rooms are tiny and the beds super uncomfortable. It wouldn't be so bad if the price matched the service, decor, and convenience. The A/C was a wall unit and very loud. Great little bed and breakfast, located in the heart of Key West. About a 10-15 min walk from Duval Street. Walking down Truman never felt unsafe, even after dark. Staff was always friendly, room was clean, A/C was cool, cable TV and breakfast daily. The hotel was quite, no problems with noise. It was exactly what we needed, Thank you!!

Bathroom needs bleach...mold and mildew in shower. Air con. was very loud. Breakfast was very good. Too far from downtown and not many good restaurants nearby. TV remote did not work and only one station was available on Thurs. and Fri. Front desk people very helpful. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The room was small and not much space for bathroom shelving/storage but we didn't spend alot of time in the room. My favorite part was the breakfast! Biscuits and gravy, fruit, danish, bagels, it was wonderful. I would go back to this hotel. Wish we had time to use the big grill on the property.

My husband and I stayed at the Palms 2 nights. The hotel is adorable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We had no problem parking our rental behind the hotel on the morning we checked in, but did notice the lot to fill up and stay full for the remainder of our stay. We had no trouble walking to everything we wanted to see and do on […] the island. Our room (5A) was clean, and cute, but so tiny. Two people cannot comfortably move around the room at the same time. If I wanted to use the sink and mirror (which were outside the bathroom next to the bed), or get into the bathroom, my husband would have to stay seated on the bed to give me enough room to walk around it. The bed was a double, and not very comfortable, so it may be time to replace the matress. The bathroom was toilet and shower stall only and the shower was so small it was hard to take a "normal" shower and I'm only 5'4". The water pressure and temperatures were both good. I think with a more comfortable bed, this room would have been great for 1 person. Our room faced the street and we enjoyed the view and used the balcony. Overall, we had a great stay at the hotel. The location was great, parking worked out in our favor, and we really enjoyed the ambience and friendly staff. I would definitely stay again. Read more

This was a nice hotel with old fashion charm, rooms were small but since there were so many things we wanted to do, the size was adequate for sleeping. All rooms that we saw had access to a porch or deck area with seating so you could enjoy the breezes.The hotel offers a common area and makes a kitchen with refrigeration available if you want to do […] any cooking or keep something cold. The location was farther from Duvall St then some reviews had lead us to belive (about 12 blocks) but still very walkable and at no time did it feel unsafe to make the trip. The pool was warm and felt great after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was a standard "extended continental" with a reasonable selection and more than adequate to get you through to a late lunch. All in all a reasonably priced, clean, safe place from which to sample the pleasures of Old Town Key West like Sloopy Joe's, Willie T's and Hogsbreath Saloon as well as the Art Center and the harbor area. Located in the middle of old Key West. We were able to walk to all the sights. The hotel is two older homes connected. This was the first time in a bed and breakfast type hotel and our one night experience was relaxing and fun. For a relatively inexpensive nights stay I would recommend this hotel.

The Palms is not your average hotel. This series of buildings appear to be homes that were converted to hotel rooms. It is kind of a maze navigating around the small outside passages. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was great. We stayed in a queen bed room the first night. When we arrived back from Duval Street […] we were greeted by a bunch of termites in the room. We notified the front office the following morning and we were moved/upgraded to the suite. The suite was very nice, similar to a small apartment with full kitchen, two bathrooms, and a queen or king sized bed. The neighborhood is nice, with wild chicken running around the streets. The walk to the beach was about 10-15 minutes, and the walk to Duval was about 20-25 minutes, with a cab to Duval it was about eight bucks. I would recommend this hotel if you like smaller b & b type places, if you are looking for luxury you should look at other pricier places. Also, beware of the bike taxis, they charge extremely high fares. A driver tried to charge me $23 to go less than 1 mile, the same drive a cab charged me $8 for. Read more

Very "intimate" feel like B&B. Rooms open to courtyard area where pool is located so make sure you're decent when you open that door! Also room was very small but nice. Great free continental breakfast. Staff was really nice. You can use guest computer, and there is a community kitchen and grill outside.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I was very nervous booking on Expedia but I am glad I did. When we arrived, we were upgraded to a suite. The suite was spacious and clean, it had two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a patio. I wish we had brought more people after seeing the room. It was clean and spacious and they gave us lots of towels. […] The staff was friendly and laid back. I loved the fact that you can rent bicycles from the front desk. The hotel was like a home away from home. I wish we came more prepared. There was a grilling deck with a bar and people were grilling delicious looking food. It was a great atmosphere to chill and relax and close enough, but not too close to the action. I can't stand the loud bass from the clubs when I am trying to sleep.
