We loved it. It is near a number of must sees of Prague and easy transportation into the city. It is especially a great location if you have a car as they have a locked grarage.

Loved it here, staff was wonderful and facility was great. Free wifi was nice. Gym is small but that's alright! Hotel is very close to prague castle. Was a bit of a trick to find (go to strahovsmy castle) but has a great view of city outside the hotel and a nice downhill walk (20-25 minutes) to Charles bridge/astronomical clock etc.

Everything was perfect. Everyone at the front desk were extreemly helpful from giving directions to making calls for us to touring agents. I have never had a hotel experience where there was not even one issue.

The hotel is a high end 4 star facility, very well located because one can get to the Prague castle with a 7 minute walk and get to Charles Bridge in 20 minutes (downhill a bit more when returning up the hill of course). Its location, adjacent to a monastery and away from the roads, makes it incredibly quiet. Once can reach the noise of the downtown […] area by walking a few minutes but then very easily retire to the quiet atmosphere of a monastery. The breakfast is of outstanding quality and variety. Other meals I had there were also prepare with excellent ingredients and nicely put together. The overall rating of the kitchen service is 9 out of 10 (I would only take one point off because the menu does not have a huge variety of options, but what they offer is very good). The hotel gets an overall 5/5 on my scale. Excellent customer service, all of the amenities, comfortable and clean (albeit small) rooms with everything you'd expect from such a high rating. The only downside isn't really a downside... the hotel is up on the hill in Prague near the Monastery. While the location itself isn't bad for sightseeing and tranquility, […] if you prefer to walk rather than drive you will be walking up and down the hillside. This was good for us as we loved the exercise but after a night out downtown, walking back up to the hotel was not as enticing. There are plenty of pubs, bars and quaint restaurants within 2-5 minutes of the hotel so you're not forced to go downtown thus getting a high score from me. Only actual downside was outrageously expensive food and drinks in the hotel restaurant and bar. Take a 2 minute walk down the street and save yourself 1/2 or more. Highly recommended. Read more

great location with an amazing view mere steps away, and just 5 min by team from the river (or an easy 20min downhill stroll next to the castle). Unbelievable value for your money. This hotel is located near the Prague castle and only a few steps away from a tram stop. And more importantly, you can pretty much go anywhere in the city on Tram 22. Every member of the staff is wonderful and speaks good English. I'd highly recommend this place!

This hotel is off the beaten path, but it is so quiet. You will sleep well here. However, I learned that people say they speak Englilsh in Prague but do not always understand you. I was given the wrong directions for the tram and subway by one of the staff and did not make my tour. Wonderful hotel on top of the hill behind the monastary. Within walking distance to Prague Castle and St. Vitas Cathedral. Walked down the hill to the St. Charles Bridge and enjoyed the incredible views, wonderful shopping and great eating. This hotel has changed ownership recently and I presume that may be the reason nobody responded to my requests in relation to collection by the hotels car to arrive at the hotel. It was therefor necessary to catch a taxi which we later found out was twice the cost of the hotel's Mercedes they can provide (960 was the cost of the taxi from the train […] station to the hotel). The hotel is positioned a 30 minute walk uphill from Charles Bridge, up behind the monastery. It is in a quiet location and the walk is pleasant but quite strenuous and a good way to walk off the extra calories. There is no wireless Internet connection in the room, but the hotel did provide a cord for Internet access in the room if required. Wireless Internet access was available in the lobby. Some staff speak English. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, but did eat at the brewery near the monastery (which was great) and also local restaurants. The towels are in desperate need of replacement (fraying edges). The bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom was also large (but the shower curtain had slight mould stains on the bottom of it). On our trip, we generally have been staying in hotels closer to the city centre. It did take some getting used to and planning time wise for the walk to and from this hotel, but the views walking up and down the hill are very scenic and there are shops along the way to get a drink or ice cream. The hotel really was fantastic - I'd gladly stay there again. It is a bit of a walk from the center of town but there are loads of sights to sse on the route in along with lots of restaurants. Food at the hotel is very pricey but here are other places to eat nearby. Go!

Место очень красивое. Близко ко многим "основным" достопримечательностям. Номер просторный и удобный, но в некоторых номерах очень маленькие, просто критично маленькие окна. Блокируют на карте депозит за "возможные услуги". На ресепшене могут попасться как милые и улыбчивые люди, так и какие-то мрачные. В целом отель вполне симпатичный.

Die Klimaanlage funktionierte in zwei Zimmern nicht. Die Rezeption war oft nicht besetzt. Das Gepäck konnten wir am Tag der Abreise zwar bis zum Abflugim Hotel lassen, aber es stand unbeaufsichtigt in der Lobby. Das Frühstück ist überteuert.
