Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Charlotte Arrowood - Charlotte

The room I paid good money for and was told it was a suite was nothing more than a couple beds and a small couch and the pool when you see it online it looks wonderful and large but when you get to there it isn't, so for my rating this hotel was horrible .

This hotel has great service, a nice inviting lobby, well maintained and comfortable rooms. The pool was relaxing, small, but relaxing. The only thing I have to complain about are the pillows. They're cheap, fluffy, uncomfortable, and just piled on each bed. But I'd stay there again if in the area.

Staff was friendly and very efficient. The smell of fresh popcorn was inviting and my roommate said the same thing about the fresh cookies when she arrived. Great Southern hospitality ! I will definitely stay again given the opportunity.

A good hotel at a good price. We chose this hotel, twice in a 8-day time period, because of it's price and location. It is one of the most reasonable at the I-77/Arrowood location. The first stay was better than the second as we were on a higher floor. During the second stay, on the ground floor there was considerably noise in the hall during the night […] and heavy walking overhead could be heard all night. I would not recommend it if you are a light sleeper, although the hotel does see fit to provide earplugs! There is an indoor pool in a lovely blue room and the lobby is nice. The staff at the desk were great, they were friendly and efficient at check in and out and other inquires. The breakfast and the lady that provided it were awesome in taste and kindness, the dining area was also very clean. The room was not up to par, some areas in the room and bathroom looked like housekeeping had not been there. Also, did not care […] for the bathroom amenities offered. This hotel is only a few years old, but the rooms convey the atmosphere of a stale, decades old motel. The tub in the bathroom was sticky, the air conditioning unit had mold around it, and the air reeked of mildew. I did not sleep for more than a couple of nights each night of my stay. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!!!

Stayed here a few months ago, and still a nice hotel. The building was rebuilt on top of the land that previous housed another building (another hotel perhaps?). Area behind hotel shows signs of the previous building (ie: curbs and footers for street lights, but no actual parking lot of lights). The rooms were in need of paient; the carpet was not clean; there was a stain in the chair in the room and also a stain in the tub. My son and I also sustained spider bites from the room we stayed in.

Our organization travels quite a bit throughout the USA. Our first choice is Holiday Inn Express & Suites. This was the first of the last. The best thing that this Holiday Inn had going was the staff...they couldn't have been more accomodating. The rooms were clean as far as the bedding and towels and what the service could clean. You can read my full review on trip advisor but I'll sum it up on here. This holiday inn leaves alot to be desired in the customer service department. For the most part the staff was rude and unconcerned with issues. And oh boy were there issues... The stampede of teenagers all night ling ( I realize this wasnt the Hotels fault, but how they failed […] to handle it was), the rude supposed staff, the cinderblock beds, the maintenance mn who shocked the pool and then failed to close it. The worst part was a general manager who responded to our problems by blaming us for being picky. Everything was nice here, front dest staff was very friendly and the breakfast selection was more than we expected. Very convenient to the highways. Nothing was terribly wrong with this hotel, but I found the bed very uncomfortable and there was a bit of mold or dirt on the walls by the A/C unit and the hair dryer didn't work. I thought the breakfast was good but crowded and didn't flow right. The staff was nice.

Staff was extremely courteous, continental breakfast more like a farmer's breackfast. Wireless connection in room, 2 computers in private area for guests use. Other traveling companions in a Hilton hotel in downtown Charlotte did not have all the amenities we did.

Excellent hotel, would definitely stay there again. Hotel is not very close to a lot of attractions, though a cab ride to the mall or other area attractions was reasonable. Very clean facility, very helpful staff.

We have stayed in Holiday Express before and have had very good stays. This was no exception. The friendly front desk personnal and super clean room were just what we have come to expect. In this era of bed bugs, the first thing I did was check the room. Not a bed bug to be found - THANK GOD! The mattress was very comfortable and the selection of pillows […] was great. All of a sudden I find I like soft pillows as they have them. Happy hour was free wings, wine and beer. Always a nice plus. We did miss breakfast because it ends at 9:30 - which is probably my only complaint. 9:30 seems a little early. But, we will continue to stay at Holiday Inn Express as long as they keep up their great standards of friendliness and cleanliness. Read more

WE ONLY STAYED OVER NIGHT, BUT THE AREA IS WONDERFUL. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND KIND. FAST CHK IN AND CHK OUT THE NEXT MORNING. ROOM WAS EXTREMLY CLEAN AND NEAT. LOVED THE DECOR EVEN. GREAT WALLS = QUITE ROOMS. WE COULDN'T HEAR A THING FROM THE HALL OR THE ROOM NEXT DOOR ALL NIGHT. WORTH THE PRICE WITH BREAKFAST INCLUDED.

Handy access off the Interstate, lots of restaurants in the area, very clean place, polite staff, good pool, good internet, breakfast was great with lots of seating available, TV's in room had REAL HD, a first for a Hotel that I have seen, all around great stay, no complaints at all!
