The hotel was very clean and for the most part the staff was very professional, except for one particular employee that worked the breakfast. It was Christmas morning and the worker was obviously irritated that she had to work that holiday morning. She said a couple of rude comments to another employee that I (and my husband) heard. Not a hotel with a lot of fancy amenities, but it was clean, quiet, well-maintained. Rooms are on the smaller side, but still quite comfortable. A good place to rest on a long trip, or a budget-priced accommodation while visiting the local area. Good for families or business trips.

The hotel was very neat and clean. Check-in took about 2 minutes. The front desk had cookies out on Friday, but not on Saturday or Sunday. The breakfast in the morning was good. They had cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, 4 types of cereal, milk, French toast, grits, mini muffins, bagels, mini yogurts, oatmeal, tea, and coffee. They shut the breakfast […] area down at promptly 9:30, although they start cleaning up the area earlier than 9:30. Our room was very clean and accommodating. There was a small microwave and a fridge. The bed was comfortable and had both soft and firm pillows. The flat screen TV didn't have the greatest picture but served the purpose. There was a pretty good assortment of channels available, including HBO. The only thing to complain about in our room area was the chair, which sunk when you sat in it. It also did not come with an ottoman like the other rooms did. Also, the ironing board cover was very rumpled and did not fit properly. Although, the one in my parent's room was perfectly fine - as was their chair and ottoman. The bathroom area was very accommodating. It was spotlessly clean. The shower was great and had decent water pressure. The hotel had a guest laundry, which I thought was very convenient! There was also an exercise room, business center, and pool, all of which I did not have the time to check out. The hotel was conveniently located right on the popular Hwy 19 / Commercial Way, but that did mean a bit of road noise. If the sounds of cars driving by bothers you, you might want to request a room on the back side of the hotel. Or, if you are as tired as we were, the noise didn't bother us at all! Parking was ample, and if you have a room on the end of the hallway, you can park right up near the side entrance. Check-out was very fast and took about 30 seconds. I love the holiday inn. It has a warm comforting atmosphere and people were nice and friendly. The food was great and the floord were very quiet. It was clean and comfortable. Great Front desk staff! awesome breakfast...fresh foods! Wow. Clean rooms and lots of quiet,cleanliness and relaxation! I give this a 5 star for sure!! PRICE needs to meet other local prices though. Room rate was toooo high. We would recommend and stay again.
