A good location, just a 10 minute walk from the CBD. We had a one bedroom apartment which was spacious and well equipped. There was a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Reception was excellent, friendly and efficient staff. No problem to store bags after checking out. Our rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The heating was great and the kitchen really good, except some of the crockery was dirty when I got it out of the cupboard. hotel was excellect! stayed in a 1 bed apartment, looked like something from a magazine & was quite cumfy. bathroom was good size. staff were really good except for one. i had checked out in the morning and paid for internet (which was a little expensive, but not a big deal) with my bank card and the gentleman at reception forgot to give me my card […] back and i was too focused on putting bags in the luggage room and signing out to notice. i didnt realise my card was missing until later that night when i went to take money out. i went straight back to the hotel & they couldnt find it anywhere. the girl at reception (who was really kind and helpful, could not fault her at all!) said that she hadnt been told anything and when they find a card they usually keep it in a certain spot and phone the person. well as the card couldn't be found i phoned to cancel the card. just after i had cancelled it, they found the card, but unfortunatelly the cancellation had already gone through. thankfully the person i was staying with still had some cash on them & i had put a little bit of money aside otherwise i dont know what i would have done because we would not have been able to get home (bank was closed & we were from interstate). i think it's disgraceful that he did not call to tell me my card was there! i dont know if its was because he was just lazy or cause im younger he thought it wasnt a big deal, but it is & either way its still bad customer service. apart from that it was quite good. Also we had the advantage of a balcony looking onto other highrise buildings this was a bonus as their were no traffic noises throughout the night. If you prefer a view remember the traffic noise at night. We would return to this property again. Only disadvantage is that it doesn't have a pool or gym or restaurant. However there is room service available (not breakfast), and the property is close to many restaurants. Very convenient to the Exhibition Building and Museum and Musical Theatres. The stay was great, hotel fine, however the people who booked next door partied most of Saturday night & played loud music then again early in the morning i.e. 4am when they arrived home from their night clubbing. There was also several people in the room at the one time making a lot of noise. We wondered who was on the front desk at the time.

Overall service was fantastic. Beautiful 1 bed room apartment with laundry and kitchen facility. Both Room and Living room has got TV. Very near to all amenities. Next to hotel theres a convenient store, which is very convenient if you need to get milk and they also sell liquor. Stayed in a one bedroom apt, very much worth the extra few $ as the room size was great! Very spacious. Overall I really enjoyed the hotel, there was just a few minor complaints that take the hotel down a few notches.. One being the shower, dreadful shower, has one of those glass screens that is about as long as half your arm, so water covers the floor. […] Secondly one of the female staff members continually had a rod up her bum and was rude and unpleasent to talk to. And lastly, two single beds pushed together is not a king bed... Luckily the bed was still pretty compfy :) Would recommend to all, great location, couple of blocks to the main street and around the corner was the free tram, half a block on from that was another main tram stop. We would have liked to have had a small dining table in the room, even a folding one to eat meals instead of eating them on our knees on the bed. We had a problem with the room key cards not working properly. Always took a few attempts; very annoying! didn't need to use the room key card to use the […] lifts (wasn't working) and the after hour door was kept open for anyone to use as it was out of order too. The only thing we werent happy with was that the parking was $20 a night... its a bit much considering we were staying in the hotel. we traveled from perth to sydney and stopped along the way and this hotel was the only one where we had to pay for parking our car. otherwise- no complaints at all... excellent for city life and sites!

It's kind of best off in regard of location. I've had a very large appartment with a nice view, that makes it worthwile a stay. Otherwise, the service is bad, the receptionist wasn't there upon my arrival (I had to call via my home country, no tel provided there. They don't know how to clean. Internet services, which you have to pay for, is absolutely […] "monkey business". After you downloaded 200MB (allthough you've paid for 24 hours), they reduce the speed. I had a studio apartment for 2 nights and the location looks a little intimidating when you arrive however it was within walking distance of most things...Upon arrival to hotel staff was friendly and room was small but clean for 1 person it was perfect for 2 would be a little cramped. I was on the 27th floor and views were amazing. I can't imagine if […] someone was staying in the studio next to me how it would have been as I tried napping upon my arrival and housekeeping was extremly noisy so I made a point of calling to ensure noone was staying in the room while i was there. Management should make a point of turning on air conditioning before arrival as the room was extremely cold and took me for ever to warm up later that day. If anything the Management really needs to invest in new linens and beds i would not stay here again just for that reason probably the worst bed I have slept in since university (which was a long time ago) I think the floor would have been more comfortable and the linens were old and cheap. Overall if you are only in town for a night or two it is a great location but don't bank on a great sleep. Read more
