The owners could not have been nicer. They were warm and outgoing and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We spent New Years Eve at the House. The husband, a gormet chef, prepared a New Years Eve dinner that was extraordinary!! A traditional English country side home. Small rooms but spotless. We would return!!!

Hearty, gourmet food - best on entire trip!! Extraordinarily helpful hosts at front desk who helped research bus schedules and gave a lift to town. Local bus stop very near. Lovely walking trails at nearby manor house gardens.

We enjoyed our stay at the Pine Lodge. The owners were very helpful. They gave us great directions and offered good suggestions for things to do. Breakfast was included and tasty. It was a bit away from the action but that worked for us and we loved Porth Beach. We would recommend and will stay there again.

The hotel is in a very beautiful location for a real getaway break. We were given an amazing room with sea view with a king size bed. After checking in... we went out for dinner with friends and when we returned to our room, the bed was turned down, hot water bottles slipped between the sheets and hot chocolate and marshmallows were waiting for us. What a treat! The next day we went to the restaurant for breakfast after watching the fishing boats go out from our bedroom window. We had read on reviews that there was no hot breakfast. How wrong! We had delicious eggs benedict cooked to perfection. As we left, we were given bottled water and apples to keep us going on the journey home. We really felt looked after. The staff were really kind and thoughtful with a great sense of humour. We will definitely be returning soon. Just a note, there is no phone signal. Perfect! by a Hotels.com guest on 10/22/12

Located in a tiny Cornish seaside; little else there apart from The Lugger, The Ship Inn and the South West Penisula Coast Path which passes the door. All the staff were very helpful. Although the Expedia site stated cooked breakfasts were unavailable this was not the case.
