Check in was easy, desk staff person was very helpful. Checkout again was very easy with very friendly desk person. The room was clean and comfortable. All in all, I was very satisfied, thank you.

The hotel is ideally located if you are attending meetings near the center of Gatineau. The service is good, although nothing to write home about, they are very polite, although you may find yourself waiting for 15 minutes at a time if there is a queue at the help desk. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, my only complaint is the shower faucet which is overly sensitive, quickly going from freezing cold to scalding hot.

Hilton Garden Inn Ottawa Airport is situated in the heart of Ottawa and area attractions include Carleton University, Rideau Canal, and Nepean Sportsplex. Additional area attractions include Canada Agriculture Museum and Frank Clair Stadium.

"Pricey, but that's the only downside"
Stayed one night while visiting colleges with my high school senior. Check in was fast and friendly, room was spotless, amenities nice, but what really stands out is the excellent dining room. The food is made in house, of excellent quality ingredients, and is cooked to order. The service is outstanding, and I have stayed in four-star hotels and dined […] in restaurants all over the world, in Hong Kong, London, New York, Beijing, Chicago, and Dallas, and the personal service and attention to detail at this little hotel restaurant in Ottawa, Ontario easily compares with the best I've experienced. Great location, just a quick ride to the hotel. Was impressed that the shuttle service waited nearly 3/4 hr. past their closing time, as airline had misplaced my luggage. "Exceeded expectations"
Don't know why this hotel only has 3 stars here, it is a 5-star experience:. Speedy, responsive check-in/out (express would be the operative word), even after 11pm at night. Oversized, comfortable, well-equipped rooms that are extremely CLEAN and well-maintained. Everything you need is provided, full selection of Neutrogena bath supplies, mouthwash, […] comb (!), etc. Fridge, coffeemaker, everything you could possibly need for comfort. I did mention it was clean and well-maintained? :) Shuttle from hotel > airport on demand, and instant response to my request for shuttle on Easter Sunday 8-ish a.m.. Staff is friendly and makes good eye contact with you. Proximity to airport is why I booked here, why dock a star for that (reviewers?). Read more

Brand new Hilton with very nice sized rooms. Only downer is that it is right at the airport and consequently is along way from civilization.

"GREAT HOTEL!!"
This is a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it. The rooms were HUGE and very clean...nice big bathrooms too! Very reasonable rates with hot or cold breakfast included. The service was super fast and food was wonderful. All the staff were extremely pleasant as well. This is a hotel definitely worth the visit.

The shuttle service drivers are very friendly and helpful but we have had a problem reaching them from the phone in the airport on two stays at the hotel. The shuttle buses run until midnight and we almost missed the last shuttle as the phones would not work. We had to stay somewhere overnight because there was a problem with our booking and we were rebooked for the following day. The Hilton Garden Inn has a free on-demand airport shuttle that ran efficiently, and the driver was very helpful and friendly. They even had a booster seat for my 4 yr old, but we had to use our own carseat for our 2 year old. […] The hotel did not have a bell boy to help us with our bags, but we didn't mind pushing our trolley of luggage by ourselves. The room was clean and quiet (I think the rooms are sound-proofed!), and our girls, who love hotel rooms, thoroughly enjoyed running around. We had two comfortable queen beds, a large desk that we used as a dining table, and free wireless internet which was a huge plus. The bathroom was quite large and very clean. Overall it was an excellent stay for one night, and we wouldn't have minded staying longer if needed. A little on the expensive side, though, but the airline said they would reimburse us, so we didn't mind. Also other hotels near the airport are closely priced anyway. Recommended. Read more

Hotel is super, good beds, nice service, little extras. The only thing is I would only stay at this hotel if you are getting in late or leaving early. Otherwise you may want to go in town as there is nothing remotely close but the airport. So if you are in need of being by the airport, great choice!

"Great Place To Stay"
We traveled from the USA for an overnight stay before taking an international air flight. This Hotel was very nice/clean to stay at. It's location is very close to the airport and easy to locate. There are many places to eat at nearby or you can also eat at the restaurant. The staff answered all our questions. They were very efficient as well as friendly […] and happy! We enjoyed the complementary breakfast great selection of food, also with great service. The shuttle to the airport was readily available. We left our car at the hotel for one week and upon return our battery was dead( as it was very cold out when we were gone). What a blessing it was that the shuttle driver had the capability to get us up and running. We would have had an entirely upsetting evening getting our car running, waiting outside in the snow and cold for assistance at any other place.. We were relieved and greatly appreciated the quick assistance we received from the shuttle driver. We would highly recommend this hotel and definitely will return again! They know about service and anticipate your needs! It couldn't have been better! Read more

"It's ok"
If I wasn't given a ground floor room facing scum and HVAC system, I would've given it a higher rating. The hotel seemed quite empty and they gave me a room with a basement type window, which was very depressing for us. After complaining, they switched me to a higher floor which I could eventually see the sky. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn while visiting a local College. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Was very surprised at the size of our room. My two daughters were also impressed that we didn't hear one plane the whole time we were there.
"Clean and comfortabe"
We really enjoyed our second stay at the Hilton Garden. Our room was very clean and the service was great. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, which were clean and well stocked with towels. The beds were extremely comfortable. We will definitively stay there again the next time we go to Ottawa overnight. Lots of stores nearby too.

it was so nice to come to a hotel that is very close to the airport. the staff were very helpful and very accommendating. the room was excellent. Had one little concern however and that was the wifi was not strong enough for my Ipad. Other than that had a wonderful stay. I must also comment on the restaurant which was fantastic.

"Quiet even though so close to the airport"
Our stay at this hotel was great. The service was excellent. We were pleased to have such a nice, large room with comfortable beds. The pool and hot tub were very clean. The complimentary coffee and cookies was a nice bonus. We will definitively stay here again.

The Hotel was excellent. Very friendly bilingual personnel. The room was very big and clean. The parking is free but to my surprised they don't melt the snow in the parking so it was difficult and dangerous each time we needed to take the car. The breakfast was delicious and as I said the personnel was always friendly and smiling.

"So convenient"
Stayed here the night before we flew back east for Christmas. Room was huge! Perfectly clean and front desk staff helpful. Waited 2 whole minutes for the shuttle to the airport - long term parking here ended up way cheaper than park n fly. Would stay here again anytime. For an airport hotel we found it very quiet.

I arrived late at night so the hotel is very convenient and close to the airport and easy to get to other parts of Ottawa. The rooms was much more than I expected - very spacious, very comfortable, have a mini-fridge, very quiet. The cleaning staff were very respectful. A great value.

A very enjoyable visit. The staff were very pleasant, almost to excess at times, most notably in the restaurant which had a "high energy" as opposed to relaxed atmosphere... but I can understand that as an airport location, although we were traveling by car. "Great Gem near Carleton University"
This is a brand new hotel. The decor is excellent and the service is good. There is a restaurant on site, but nothing in the immediate vicinity, you need to drive to other locations for ammenties. For us, we needed something close to the University and it was perfect.
