We booked through Hotels.com and we didn't really know what to expect. Upon a late arrival, we were greeted with a very friendly front desk attendant who was happy we arrived safely. Check in was swift and we were up in our room within minutes of arrival. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the room. My only disappointment was the quality of the pillows, very flat and no support, even with the extra pillow provided. We enjoyed a hot breakfast every day that ranged from scrambled eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy and waffles. We opted out of housekeeping for the 3 days, just because we don't have a desire for new towels each day (SAVE THE PLANET mentality) and I don't mind making my own bed :) Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy the either of the indoor / outdoor pools due to our schedule, but both looked very inviting. The hotel is located right next to an amusement park (go karts, mini golf, etc) which we would have loved to enjoy, but due to entire weekend of rain, it wasn't open. Hotel is not on the beach, but a short drive and there were Destin Beach signs all around. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and if we find ourselves in Destin again, it would be a must stay. Thank you SummerInn Place for an enjoyable stay.

Gulf breezes were soft, temperature was mild. I like going to Panama City in the winter. Crowds weren't large, it wasn't too hot like in can be in August and the price was right!

The room was nice and walked right out to the patio where the pool was and right down to the beach. The view of the ocean was wonderful and we were on the first floor. The only issue we had was that it rained the entire time we were there so I could not walk on the beach. Not the fault of the hotel. The room was clean and I believe they are doing some updating. I would have stayed longer except for the weather. I would go there again.

Dryer did not work, and we had no room service since we didn't stay a full week. Had to call for towels, and laundering of our wet clothes due to dryer being broken. This was a distraction to an otherwise beautiful room and location. Absolutely loved the beaches, boardwalks, and surrounding neighborhood /development.

we had a great time at the watersound resort. very beautiful and private beach. pool was excellent and the condo was very comfortable and nice. great surroundings around the unit and the downtown area was fantastic.

Great place, decor was upscale beach and relaxing. One of nicest suites I have stayed in. Walk to beach was about 4 blocks away but the preservation of the sand dunes and beach was beautiful. It is located 5 miles from the action but on the positive side, the beach was alot less crowded. Would definitely go back again.
