I stayed here for 3 nights during an early January ski trip to Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole ski resorts. Grand Targhee is about 30 minutes up the road and Jackson Hole is 40 minutes over the hill so location is great for both mountains. I can, however, recommend the very delicious Headwaters Grill on site. The food was extremely good and the restaurants ambience very appropriate to a winter hideaway. Although the hotel is a little ways off the main road, it was not an inconvenience at all and the little town of Victor, ID is just 6 minutes away. Our dining experience was pleasant outside on the patio. However, the food was not that good. The pork sandwich was like a piece of cardboard on a bun. The lap pool was lovely, as well as the jacuzis. Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere all around. Beautiful, golf course.

Very nice hotel with very friendly employees. The dinner at the grill next door was very good, but the breakfast in the morning ended not good at all. We tried the next morning again and selected the buffet. but for this amount of price the variety is very limited and over priced.

This is a beautiful, if remotely situated resort. Everything from the cozy bedding to the lap pool and dining is first class. The drive to Jackson from the resort involves some steep grades on the Teton Pass which would be best avoided in the winter. If you want a peaceful, plush and pampered get away, this is the place!

Nice room, but pricy for the size. Carpet definitely needed cleaning & TV was very small. Golf course didn't give any kind of deal for guests staying at Lodge, even though it was off-season. Since we booked through Hotels.com, breakfast was included. Nice perk.

Only two chairs and little room to move around. No breakfast of any kind provided. Desk staff very helpful, but cleaning staff performance was spotty, although we […] had tipped them every day we were there and left them notes about certain oversights and yet we still had problems with a lack of cleaning glasses, mugs, and trash removed. These are minor annoyances, but it is enough for me to withholding recommendation at this time. Finally, if you are thinking of commuting to Jackson Hole from this location the drive from the hotel to JH is a good 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic over the mountains. Read more

This was a hugely pleasant surprise. We needed a night to stay before starting our ranch vacation and Jackson Hole was expensive. What we thought would be a place to lay our heads turned out to be a bonus part of our vacation. The hotel is wonderful- staff bend over backwards for you. My husband is a platinum level traveler and has seen his fair share […] of hotel rooms- he gave it thumbs up. My girls loved the pool. Victor, Idaho and neighboring Driggs were charming. Pendel's bakery for pastries in the AM and Wildlife Brewery for pizza were super. Don't forget to get a mulberry shake from Victor Emporium with the biggest straw ever. Unless you are going there for golf, it is overpriced for the hotel room. The location and scenery are out of this world fantastic, but it does not stack up to traditional 4 or 5 star destination resorts in terms of room design, furnishings, bathroom, etc.

I knew nothing about the resort before booking a room there except for a few pictures on the internet. I was looking for somewhere to stay outside of Yellowstone and most of the hotels in the Jackson Hole area were booked or ridiculousy expensive. I'm so happy I made the choice to stay in Idaho. The location was an easy drive from Yellowstone. The area […] and resort itself are gorgeous! The room was beautiful. I loved that it had a good size fridge in the room because I was traveling with my 3 children and could store cold drinks and snacks. The entire staff was friendly and wonderful. I arrived at the resort later than expected and frazzeled because a few days earlier while driving cross country my wallet was stolen out of my purse. I explained this to Bret, Director of Guest Services and he went out of his way to help me and my children while we were there. Ashley, who works at the front desk was so kind, and also a very big help. They have a large, year round heated pool and two hot tubs outside that my kids loved and took an evening swim in. Even though it was late in the evening and the pool was about to close and my children were the only ones using it, Tyson came outside and turned some play fountains on for my kids to play in, whcih they loved. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant there and both meals were terrific. A special thanks to Linda for finding some ice cream for my kids for dessert even though it wasn't on the menu. I only wish I had been able to stay longer and check out the spa. I would love to return to the resort for another, longer stay. Read more

This is a beautiful and luxurious hotel. The spa is as nice as any 5 star hotel I've stayed at. My husband said the same for the gold course. There are even beautiful ponds on the grounds that they stock with trout so the guests can practice casting (not my thing but my husband loved this). I'd stay again in a heart beat!!!!!
