Good place, but starting To show a little aging. As a business traveler, I do not like the desk chairs. Could be a little more flexible on check out time. Maids were knocking at 11am even though it appeared they still had other rooms to clean. Front desk called at 11:05 & asked if I wanted to extend my stay....seemed a little quick on the trigger.

The hotel is very nice it really is. The staff was friendly and nice during our stay. I did like the breafast that was very nice as well. I did not however like the beds in my room and I did not get any sleep at all with made my business trip extremely difficult. We went to Wausau wi to ski at Grand peak resort . Got the suite at Stone Creek Hotel. Everything was awesome , kid friendly,breakfast every morning ,huge comfortable room with fireplace . Recommending to families and couples .Ski resort 8 mon away. We will go back for sure.

Hotel was very clean and cozy but we had a hard time regulating the room temperature. If you stay, try and find out ahead of time if there is a wedding booked there that day. The hotel's room doors are extremely noisy when they shut and kids were running up and down the halls on both floors which was very annoying.

Great place to stay to catch a game in Titletown with friends! Although a tad far from Green Bay, we took a shuttle offered by "the Bar" which was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We absolutely loved our stay at the Stoney Creek in in Rothschild. The staff did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and quickly registered us and told us where our room was. The room was cozy (although still good sized). The bathroom was very clean and the towels were soft. The blankets were warm and plush. The only down side was that I practically had to beg before I was granted late check-out from 11:00 a.m. to Noon. Also, the hotel might want to consider adding chain-locks to the rooms.

The hotel was right off the highway so it was convenient to get to the Granite Peak Ski resort and downtown Wausau restaurants. The woodsy motif was cute. Great value for families - clean, cozy and comfortable Big hot tub to soothe those aching muscles after skiing. However, the hotel was under-staffed during the busy Christmas week and couldn't keep up during the breakfast. One woman working to feed a hundred hungry skiiers in a hurry to get fueled for the slopes.

My wife felt the bed was too soft and the pillows weren't to her liking, but in my opinion the bed and pillows were no worse than average, in general.
