Newpark Resort & Hotel - Park City

Newpark is a beautiful resort. But a 4 PM check in is very late especially when you have to be out by 11 AM. I paid $200 to stay for less than a full day (19 hours). The hot tub on the balcony is genius. But the walls are so low that you have no real privacy. My spouse and I woke up with sore backs because the bed was so hard. My husband and I loved our stay at the Newark Resort and Hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved having a fireplace in the room and a hot tub on the deck. Although the hotel didn't seem to have room service, there were plenty of places to eat just a few steps away: Kneaders, Cafe Rio, Good Thymes were all on the Resort premises. […] The only thing that I'd say to watch for is the location of the room, we were put in one immediately above Kneaders and my husband got woken up by the restaurant's music early one of the mornings. I'm a frequent visitor to Park City. This hotel is a hidden gem. Having a jacuzzi on my own private deck was awesome. Rooms spacious. Only complaint, check in staff was really slow. But still overall, a nice experience. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed the stay as did my wife. The hotel is below Park City in the Redstone Shopping Center area. This was great because there were two nice Supermarkets nearby but getting into Park City proper to play is a bummer.

This is a good value for the Kimball Junction and Park City area. Close enough to the ski areas and reasonably priced. I have stayed in the condos in the past and I will continue to use Newpark Resort properties in the future.

Room was well appointed and super clean. The room I was in was a little on the small side with 1 small window looking out onto the roof. Maybe there are rooms with a view. The staff was outstanding. Great pool and gym and hot tub. Loved it.

My husband and I stayed here for a week as we planned to ski a few times while we were here from Minneapolis. Awesome location and it's right off of hwy 80 which I think is a much better location instead of staying right down in the center of park city. There are plenty of bus stops around the hotel to get to where u needed to go around park city if […] u didnt rent a car. We stayed in the one bedroom luxury suite. Absolutely loved it. It had a washer/dryer in the room and a full kitchen with a big refrig. And stove and microwave. One thing I can complain about is that u get a hot tub on your deck/patio which was sweet but not much privacy cause the walls arent tall enough so u can't see your neighbors on their decks. Never had a problem with anything else. Very clean and nice facility. One other plus is that there is a whole foods grocery store almost walking distance to the hotel. Good value. Modern resort. Not over the top, but has a sample of everything you need. The Spa is outside of the hotel and is a different business. (also initial massage is $49 and not $39 as on hotel's website). On my next trip there is a good chance I would stay there again.

We had the two room suite and it was perfect for our family. Boys had their own rooms and all enjoyed the hot tub after a day on the hill. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. The Hotel was great overall. The room was a little smaller then I had envisioned it being. One of our nights there the fire alarm went off and continued to do so for close to an hour at 2:00am. No explanation was given other then a letter under the door stating the WiFi would not be working the rest of our stay. An apology for waking the entire hotel […] in the middle of the night for a false fire alarm would have been more appropriate. The most helpful front desk staff I have met in awhile. They knew everything about the local events and ski area information and were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the shuttle service(with a convenient stop near the hotel) and taxi service. This was our first trip to Park City and we could not have ask for a better experience. The staff was great and always able to answer any question or concern. The one bedroom suite was perfect and provided us and our three children ample room. The hot tub on our porch was always ready and they even cleaned our kitchen area every day. We booked last minute for the NYE holiday so there was little left in the Park City area. 1BR deluxe suite was perfect size for my wife and me and all of our ski paraphanelia. Hot tub and fireplace are great features. Location near restaurants and Whole Foods provides lots of options for eating (definitely try the Fat Kid Pizza at Maxwells). Kitchen […] in room is fully stocked with everything you need to cook as well. The two biggest gripes about our stay are that the front desk can be sparsely attended by well-meaning but sometimes ineffectual staff, and we had to call down one day because housekeeping had forgotten to visit our room while we were out during the day. Luckily they sent someone up soon enough and it was rectified. Note that the hotel is about a 8-10 min drive from PCMR and Deer Valley and Main Street. About 5 minutes to the Canyons. We rented a car and had no problems at all getting to where we wanted to be, but I don't know what the shuttle or bus options are like if you don't want to rent a car. Read more

Great room, I loved the private hot tub, the fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer in the room. It was very spacious and comfortable. Don't miss the amazing pre ski breakfast at "Good Thyme" restaurant right next to the hotel. Will definitely go back.
