This was great place to stay, no screaming sring breakers. This is an adult oriented all inclusive hotel. The food was excenllent, you have to try the rotisserie chicken on the beach!

Wow! What an amazing time we had staying at the Royal Solaris!! We spent our 19th anniversary at this all inclusive resort for 4 days and never even had the slightest urge to go into town or leave the hotel. Friendly staff checked us in. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and there was no waiting. The Time Share lady who offered us a "quick tour" of the hotel but did not get pushy or upset when we told we just wanted to get to our room and then hit the beach. She asked that we come see her, but we never did and we never got bothered with Time Share talk the rest of the time. The multiple pools looked like lots of fun, but hey...we have a pool at home so we spent every waking minute at the beautiful beaches. The "vendors" walking up and down the beach were not pushy at all and after each one made their 1st pass/effort, they didn't bother us the rest of the day. Benjamin and Kike (pronounced kee-kay), were our beach waiters over the weekend and both of them were absolutely tremendous!! We could not have asked for a better experience. The room was clean, it had a comfortable bed, and plenty of water pressure for our showers. Oh...and pay the little extra to get the beach view room...spectacular views of the sunrise and gorgeous blue waters!!

I loved the hotel and the service is wonderful, however I was really disappointed in the beach. We had to travel to another Palace resort to swim in the ocean and take pictures. But that is my only complaint.
Location.
Isla Mujeres Palace Couples Only All Inclusive Resort is within 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) of Costa Occidental de Isla Mujeres National Park. Garrafon Natural Reef Park is less than 7 kilometers (4 miles) from the hotel.
Hotel Features.
Isla Mujeres Palace Couples Only All Inclusive Resort features a freeform outdoor pool and poolside bar with palapa and swim-up seating. A lobby bar, snack bar, and restaurant serving all meals are also on site. 24-hour room service, two guided tours, and an introductory scuba-diving lesson are included in the room rate, as is wireless Internet access. Four treatment rooms are available for massages, facials, pedicures, and manicures (surcharges apply) .
Guestrooms.
Guestrooms at this Isla Mujeres resort feature jetted tubs, minibars, and balconies with hammocks; most rooms provide ocean views. LCD TVs have HBO and numerous satellite channels, and wireless Internet access is available. Digital safes are large enough to accommodate laptop computers. Bathrooms come equipped with telephones, showers, bathrobes, and slippers. Turndown service is performed each evening, and nonsmoking rooms are available upon request.

An introductory scuba-diving lesson, conducted in the pool, is also provided.

Accessible by ferry, Isla Mujeres is a major ecotourism destination. El Parque Natural Garrafón (Garrafón Natural Reef Park) features coral reefs inhabited by schools of fish. Giant sea turtles come ashore at Tortugranja to lay eggs. North of Isla Mujeres, thousands of rare and tropical birds roost at a natural sanctuary on Isla Contoy.
