      This hotel was just steps away from the cathedral and worth every penny. Mind you, I'm in my 20s and a fresh graduate, so I couldn't spend too much, but I'd definitely come back even if I had a bigger budget. The staff was kind and helpful.

      Beautiful from the outside. Inside, it was clean and roomy. But the room furnishings were seriously lacking and not up the expected standard. The bed was adequate, but not particularly comfortable. The bathroom was quite nice. Breakfast was very good, but very expensive. Overall, it was a nice hotel but seriously overpriced for what we got.

      The staff was excellent, the room was very spacious. Only complaint was the cigarette smell, left the windows open while we were our and it cleared up. About a ten minute walk from the Notre Dame Cathedral.

      We chose this hotel since it was directly across from the Cathedral, and quite close to all the Christmas Markets, and still close to Petite France. Plus, we took one free night using my Hotels.com credit. Strasbourg is very lovely, especially at Christmas, and the location was superb. The only two qualifications on that was the room overlooked the Cathedral SQ, which would have been fine except for the musicians playing the same songs (not Christmas Carols) over and over from 9am until around 8pm. How many times can you listen to Lady of Spain on an accordian and trumpet? Yikes. The other qualification was the recommendation we got for dinner at Chez Yvonne. This was not a "fine" restaurant. Tables, in all 3 stories are packed side by side. VERY crowded and uncomfortable. The service was quick, thank god, but the food was second rate. We saw lots of folks from our hotel, so figure that they have a "deal" to send clients there. Not a good choice. The breakfast at the hotel, on the other hand, was excellent, even at 12 euros.

    We were in Strasbourg for just one night and the hotel was in a prime location near the central train station, which made getting around the city very... easy. The staff was friendly, room clean and cozy, and the experience was pleasant. There were a few small repairs in process which is why the condition wasn't rated 100%, but they really didn't impact our stay at all. We enjoyed the selection for the breakfast, along with the nice benefits of free wifi, coffee and tea. Everything about the hotel was outstanding; such as two layers of double glazed windows kept all sound out; helped by hotel being in a pedestrianised street, 3 minutes walk from the station.     The hotel's location is very good, being just yards away from Strasbourg station. The rooms are very small. Forget the proverbial cat, you don't have room to swing a new born kitten. Having said that, if you just require a place to sleep and will be spending most of the time going around Strasbourg, this place fits the bill.

    Nettes Hotel, perfekte Lage für eine Städtereise: Bahnhof in Sichtweite, in ca. 5-10 Minuten ist man in der Innenstadt, am Münster oder im Petit France. Frühstücksraum leider eher klein, so dass es zu Stoßzeiten eng werden könnte. Französisches Frühstück - für max. 3 Nächte okay, danach etwas zu eintönig (nur ca. 1 Sorte Wurst und 1 Sorte Käse, ansonsten […] eher süß). Zimmer eher eng, auch hier primär für einen kurzen Aufenthalt geeignet. Geräusche von außen waren durch Doppelfenster kaum zu hören, Geräusche aus anderen Zimmern jedoch schon; die Hellhörigkeit war aber durchaus ertragbar.
