This was great place to stay, no screaming sring breakers. This is an adult oriented all inclusive hotel. The food was excenllent, you have to try the rotisserie chicken on the beach!

Only 18 km (11 mi) south of Cancun International Airport, the sleepy village of Puerto Morelos offers calm contrast to Cancun, and to lively Playa del Carmen, 32 km (20 mi) to the south. Historically a fishing village, tourism is a relatively recent industry here. A large reef, about 500 meters from the beach, has been declared a national park, and snorkeling, diving, and kayaking are popular.

I 100% recommend Ocean Coral for your vacation. The staff was amazing and friendly. Food was fantastic. Resort beautiful. Our kids enjoyed the Activity pool and the staff kept them busy. My boys had fun over at the teen lounge at night unwinding for an hour. They were working on a few areas of the hotel which is why I gave it a 4 - the hotel itself […] is gorgeous. The only issue with the hotel room is the sofa bed wasn't perfect for my daughter. Also it was a bit awkward with no bathroom door (there is a shower door and lav door.) But again, that was just a personal issue for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay to the point that we became H10 Premium members while we were there. Excited to be a part of the family. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! Read more
"Couple vacation"
Our 3-day stay here was nice, no complaints. Our room was large, overlooked the pool & ocean, clean, etc. Bath - Bath tub was a bit small. It's true that there is not a door to the bathroom (not a problem for us as a couple) but actually there are doors to the toilet and shower so I don't think it would be a problem for most families either. Food - […] The minibar has drinks only, no snacks, but the pool snack bar is best place to get quick food during the day. Definitely visit the Japanese & Italian restaurants over the buffet for dinner - we found going at about 8:45pm was the best time to avoid a wait for these. Sports bar is open all night for food but it's not very good fyi, so try to eat before 10pm. Desserts at coffee shop are best for sweets at night. Atmosphere - It's a mostly American tourist place, a lot of families. Pool bars are open til 1am and lots of teens and others were out by the pool at night. Staff lead activities during the day, which look cheesy but can be fun (beach volleyball, baseball). Tennis courts were under construction and basketball court was a bit run-down but we still played some. Beach - very pretty beach, seaweed floating around like in most areas of Playa del Carmen, beach chairs crowded but usually available. Overall, I would recommend it for an affordable all-inclusive. "Very noise secluded location"
Hotel is really nice with a very friendly staff! Our room was too humid so they put an extra dehumidifier in the room! Location is really nice too! It's not a downtown Cancun and not mean to be in downtown so don't be seeking anything outside next to hotel for that you can go to downtown which is 30 min away! the hotel is very nice! If you want to get […] extra service and expensive drinks you can get a privilege room service you just have to pay extra! I would gladly visit the hotel again! Read more
"Ocean Coral Visit"
I had a relaxing day and a half at Ocean Coral while in transit to another country. I was hoping to find a place more quiet and subdued than what I had heard about the Cancun hotel zone. Ocean Coral was beautiful and relaxing. There definitely was some ugly, drunken behavior from some of the visitors but mostly the visitors were low key. The staff was […] very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and very comfortable, though humidity is a big challenge in the Mayan Riviera so it was important to keep the doors and windows shut. If you're hoping for fresh open breezes, you really need to go out to the beach. The beach was lovely and the locals work hard to keep it clean. It's a challenge because the Gulf is really polluted and plastic junk washes up on shore continually. I spent $35 and had a really nice snorkeling experience on the reef, just a15 minute boat ride off shore. Lots of brilliant fish to see in just 10 feet of clear water. The coral is suffering from a combination of hurricanes and bleaching (from the rising temperature of the water). The food in the restaurants was plentiful, though nothing special. The wait staff was very attentive and super friendly. My only bad experience at the Ocean Coral was with a drunken party of rude and loud guests seated next to me at one of the restaurants. The waiter tried hard to redirect their energy. This behavior, of course, can happen anywhere. Overall, I felt that the Ocean Coral was a lovely place and the guests really seemed to enjoy themselves. Read more
"Unforgetable ! worst experience ever !"
where to start ... this (five star) hotel has a very bad service, first day: we stayed out from 10am to 5 pm and the room was not done yet, the cleaning staff were always " sorry" they said they had too much to do ... FOOD: most of the food had no taste (a lot of it ... but still no taste), for meals we had to wait in line for about twenty minutes to […] be seated, i dont mind waiting if its full, but the half of the tables were empty, the breakfast and dinner hall had more than 70 tabels and there were about 5 persons serving ... to be near normal they need at least 4 times more ... because of the lack of personnels, the floor was dirty with food, and i was smiling on people slipping on the food and falling (at least once a day) until it happened to me, i slipped on some soup or sauce with a full plate of food in my hands and almost broke my knee ... The staff were very kind and always apologizing, but its not my problem if they are under staffed ... The main lobby of the hotel is very big and nice but you cannot stay more than ten seconds, its SO HOT, and because there's a kind of a pond in the middle, its full of million mosquitos ... you cannot go elsewhere because its the only place where you have Wi-Fi, i got stung like fifty places before i finished writing couple of mails, and still putting cream on the bites (after one week) ..... "Ocean Coral & Turquesa ,Puerto Morelos"
Great value for money: The key word is all-inclusive ( rooms, food, alcohol, non-motorised water sports, beach access, swimming pool access ). The rooms are extremely spacious with a lot of closets for personal belongings. The ambience is very tastefully done with earthy colors. The bed was very comfortable, clean and freshly made everyday. The round-the […] clock availability of food and beverages was wonderful, we had more time to worry about our sight-seeing programs. Service is efficient, courteous and polite. If you want to be pampered beyond belief, this is the place to stay when you are in Cancun. Read more
"Great deal, friendly service and relaxing vacation"
Had a fabulous time over Labor Day weekend. Hotel is well maintained, clean, and service is very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, only downside the wine included in our plan. You have the option to buy better wines during your meals, but it's and extra cost. Location is good if you just plan to stay at the resort and relax as it is far away […] from any town. They have an activities desk where you can book directly at the hotel and they come pick you up. Would definitely return if the price continues to be great. Read more

El hotel y el servicio son muy buenos.
"Hotel ocean coral y ocean maya"
A revoir. Le repas "lobster" décevant niveau cuisson. Read more
