Cold water in the shower all three times I took a shower on the same day. Come on, no hot water! I really dont mind cold water if I were camping, definitely not coming back just for that. This is not a hotel it is a motel. The walkways smelled of urine and I was afraid to take off my socks while walking around in my room. There were a number of slovenly,rough looking extended stay guests hanging around the outside that made me feel uncomfortable and worried about being mugged or having my car broken into. But nothing happened.The place needs higher quality towels and toilet paper. I will never stay at one of these again unless I am destitute.

We stayed 2 nights - the air conditioner was so loud it sounded like a jet taking off. We never got clean towels for the 2nd night nor did anyone come in the room to make the bed. Worst service we ever experienced!!!!!!

The room was very dirty. They only do maid service once a week. When we tried to trade our towels in for fresh ones, we had to wait 2 hours for some to be cleaned. This was at 9pm. Do NOT recommend. We will not be back.

The rooms are very dimly lit. The lampshades were falling apart. The television was old, huge, and did not rotate position. There was only coffee mug in the cabinet. I asked if clean dish towels, dish cloth and dish detergent were available because I wanted to cook. I was told they would be brought over to me when I was going to go get them. I waited […] for over 15 minutes and finally my husband went to get what we needed. The dish detergent packets were small (only 2 given) and no potholder of any kind was available. There was only one trashcan - a tiny one in the bathroom. I was told no other trashcans were placed in the rooms. There was no ice machine on the premises. The number of channels available on television was pitiful. I've never stayed in an Extended Stay America hotel that was this bad - ever, and I've stayed in several different locations. Read more

The overall experience was ok. We needed a hotel to stay for the night, at the last minute and this was one of the few hotels to choose from. i would recommend this hotel if you just need a hotel room and no special ammenitites.

The company I work for put me up here while waiting to cose on my house after having been reassigned to the Hampton Roads area. As if it was bad enought that this place was absolutely filthy, as if it was bad enough that it needs major work, as if it is bad enough that it is noisy at night with people coming and going and blowing horns and shouting […] all hours of the night, as if it is not bad enough that people throw bags of trash out the doors and they sit there as if it is bad neough that the furniture is old and broken down but to add insult to injury my car was stolen right off the parking lot. I reserved a NON-Smoking room however when I arrived I was given a smoking room. The staff stated my non-smoking room is not guaranteed when booking on hotels.com. The staff was very nice to find a non-smoking room which I was very thankful for.

I stayed at this hotel 3 times in six weeks. The first visit was fine. The second visit I had been placed on the 3rd floor and they have NO ELEVATOR!!!! Carrying luggage up two flights of stairs after a 14 hour day was no fun. The 3rd time I requested a ground floor room r/t my asthma and not climbing the steps. I was put in a wheelchair accessible […] room with limited space and the kitchen and bathroom were dirty. The bed sheets smelled so bad I got a blanket out of my car to put over them. I went to visit my boyfriend who is in the military and stationed in Norfolk. This was one of the cheaper places to stay which is the only reason I booked it. The room key wouldn't open our door when we first got there and the woman at the front desk had to come up and help us. She wasn't too happy about that and I was shocked when she slammed the key […] in the door as hard as possible and hip checked the door open. And that's exactly how we had to open the door every time after that as well. The bed was hard as a rock but other than that the only complaint I have is that the TV channel selection didn't have much of a wide variety. The cost was of good value but it was not worth it. Original room was dirty and trashed. New room was clean but the refrigator motor noise kept me up until I turned it off. Road noise also make it hard to sleep. Would not recomend.

The location is great, it was easy to find and right off the main highway. The room was very clean, and the staff was friendly. It wasn't the most comfortable bed, but it wasn't horrible.
