This hotel is a great hotel - large comfortable room apartments with laundry, mini-kitchen, full living room, seperate bedroom, nice tiled large bathroom with large bathrub and seperate shower. For a long stay, I recommend this hotel. Unfortunately, we had a problem when our room was flooded because of a leak. We came back to the hotel after working […] all day and discovered that a few of our personal clothes and item were damaged. They did pay for dry cleaning and gave us a new room. However, we would have preferred a nite's stay paid for by them for this happening. They weren't willing to do that for us which was extremely dissappointing. Extremely satisfying experience. Thsy had room(correct room) available and ready when I arrived at midnight. Staff is superb and very helpful,very polite and attentive(save for the female cook). If there is ONE THING that I need when traveling on business is the Internet working. Upon my arrival, I promptly noticed that it did not, but the front desk said "don't worry, the Internet guy is here and it is being fixed". Ok, I said, let's have lunch first. Upon completion of the lunch, still nothing works. I checked "where is the Internet guy", […] but he has left. I said that I would not be able to stay without the Internet being fixed, and was promised that they would recall the guy. This game went on until 4 PM, during which I was presented an "Internet expert" (all he did is to right-click on the adapter properties and select "Diagnose" - and every time that was concluded unsuccessfully, he went to do the same "diagnose" again, and given the option to change rooms (needless to say, the Internet did not work either in the new room). I liked anything else in the hotel - nice cafe (with outdoor seating), good food (both western and local), clean rooms - but be aware that their promises to fix things are to be taken with a grain of salt ... Friendly helpful staff, good value for money, great location... a few steps away from the sky train. there is a small swimming pool on the 16th floor, but regardless it was a pleasure to get a dip during a hot humid day, plus it is mostly empty and quiet ... you might run into 1-2 people. the rooms were excellent size and the hotel covers many comforts […] you look for in your travel, such as a washer/dryer, a good size fridge, and a microwave. The room was relatively clean except for the dust on the rug and under furniture... it could use alittle more cleaning and dusting. But regardless, the room was decently cared for and the staff was prompt in their response. Sukhmvit is a great launch pad in bangkok, as it's indeed lively and quite colorful, plus it's close to Siam and other busy neighbourhoods. We will definitely stay there again, and would highly recommend Adelphi suites to any one heading to Bangkok. Read more

We stayed three nights at Adelphi Suites. It was a terrific choice for us. The staff is EXCELLENT!!! We were dealing with a lost piece of luggage with the airline and they made the calls for us and arranged for delivery after the bag was found. The Monsoon restaurant downstairs (which doubles as the breakfast buffet area) was also an easy choice for lunch and dinners with a diverse menu of Thai, Italian and German food, that was very fairly priced. Excellent Italian restaurant across the street if you get tired of Thai food-which we did. Room was a true suite of nice size. Great shower and separate bath tub. It was not the least expensive place we stayed at in Bangkok, but it was the best value. Washer/dryer in the room was nice after traveling around Thailand the previous 10 days. Hotel was conveniently located by the Sky Train, a 3 minutes walk, which is the best and the fasted way to travel in Bangkok. I've stayed in many hotels for business and vacation. This hotel exceeded my expectations and was the one of the best experience in hotel accommodations. With the best greeting I've experienced, we were greeted before even entering the hotel. They brought us a cool wet towlette, delicious drink, and even gave us a free upgrade to an executive suite! […] Also, the lobby always had such a pleasant smell...like you're in a nice spa. We wanted to book an excursion that was very challenging considering the late bookings, tour website and calling was not very easy and the hotel staff helped us along the whole way to make sure we get this particular excursion. He even used his own personal cell phone to make the calls to numbers we weren't even sure were correct. The staff definitely goes beyond to help and their English is very good! The full breakfast included in the hotel accommodation was one of the best breakfast buffet we've had in our Asia trip which include Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Beijing. With that comparison, Adelphi's breakfast is impressive...great quality and we like how they change up some of the items each day so you're not having to eat the same thing every morning. The location is awesome....only about 50 yards from the skyway train stop. Getting there by train from the airport was pretty easy that you don't even need to know how to speak or read Thai. Lots of food options and shopping close-by. However, I wouldn't recommend shopping there as prices may be much higher in this tourist area than other local areas. The pool on top floor outdoors is very nice with a nice view. We didn't use the gym, but it looks very nice. The bed was very soft and comfortable considering Asian standards. Our room had a washer/dryer which was very nice to have as well as free wi-fi in our room...that is a really nice feature whereas most hotels only have that in the lobby or you may have to even pay extra. Adelphi Suites is a comfortable place to stay. It is close to the Skytrain and 1 stop from the MRT. If you are staying for a long period, it is nice to have a washing machine and dryer available in your suite. When I return to Bangkok, I will return to Adelphi Suites
