was nice for families with more than 2 kids! there was an extra loveseat/sofa bed area. small wet bar and ref. also 2 baths areas, one had toilet and tiny sink....the other had a larger sink area and shower. i like when those spaces are separated!

Clean, modern room with comfy bed. Front desk staff were very helpful. Had some wind noise in our room, it was a gusty evening and the wind was blowing through the HVAC exhaust which caused a whistling noise. Luckily, it settled down before bed. Walls are a bit thin and we could hear our neighbors TV. I'm a heavy sleeper so it was no concern to me, […] but a light sleeper might have been awakened. Easy walk to most downtown spots, KFC Yum! Center is 5 minute walk, same for expo center. Neighborhood was typical urban. I didn't feel uneasy walking at night, but still good to be vigilant in any unfamiliar neighborhood at night. My wife and I visited Louisville to attend a concert at the KFC Yum Center. Easy walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking good, but an extra $10. Room was large, clean and comfortable. The only problem was that you could hear every word anyone spoke down the hall. We took a noise machine and problem eliminated. I'd stay here again.

My mom and I stayed here for a weekend before I move overseas. The hotel location is great, within walking distance of a bunch of museums and great restaurants. It is also in a great location to be able to jump on I-65 quickly, but without the noise of the highway. The people at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. Free Wi-Fi, refrigerator, microwave, couch. However, the layout was a bit strange. I had read that in earlier posts and couldn't really imagine what is weird about the layout. The bathroom is right in front of the bed. There are 2 separate rooms that would consist of one full bathroom total. There is one room with a shower and sink and vanity and then the second room has a toilet and a sink, literally big enough to wash just one hand at a time. So tiny. My mom and I thought is was funny so we actually took a picture of washing just one hand. It really wasn't that big of a deal in the end and we really enjoyed our stay. Read more

We stayed at this hotel the night before we had to be at the Kentucky Convention Center for a sporting event. The location was excellent in relationship to the venue. He hotel was clean, the kids loved the pool, the rooms were spacious and the staff was excellent. The breakfast was perfect in the morning wih plenty of fresh choices. The only complaint […] I have is the street traffic kept me up. There were several times emergency vehicles went by with sirens throughout the night. I had read this in other reviews but didn't think it would matter, it did. Secondly, this is connected to the Fairfield Inn & suites and you share some parts of the hotel. We stayed for three nights and the room was clean and comfortable. There was a small fridge and microwave which were useful. The included breakfast was a real bonus. My only complaint was that I needed to extend my stay by one night and i could not get the rate I booked at not withstanding that the hotel was half empty.

Asked about restaurant list since there was nothing in the room. A large book with hard to figure out menus was given to us. We like to go to the downtown area to explore restaurants there, but there was only one place that we saw that was open. If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to everything, and you are traveling alone, this is the place for you. However, if you are like us, traveling with children then don't stay here. Our room was located right above the main road and was extremely noisy. Emergency crews went down that road about 5 times the night we stayed. Our beds […] were VERY uncomfortable, My husbands side dipped toward the middle causing him to toss and turn all night. And the bedding was not enough to keep a person warm during the winter. The layout of the room was weird. The beds were right in front of the bathroom and the sink in the bathroom was barely big enough to wash your hands in. There is a separate room with another sink that is larger and the shower but no bath tub. This place was really nice! Very unique layout. Loved how big it was for a single room. Downfall was no hot tub and the shower didn't have a tub either. Otherwise great stay we walked to meet friends for dinner.

We walked down to the waterfront park one day and were able to walk to dinner (about 15 minute walk). This wouldn't have been a big deal if there was a sign or something, but it ended up becoming a cluster of cars that all had to maneuver around. I enjoyed my stay, my only complaint was the parking garage was too small. Our goal was to go to 4th street and we were within walking distance. A hotel employee took us over in a van and we were able to walk back just fine. I will stay there again.

Didn't get a chance to check out the breakfast had to get on down the road...Front desk personnel were very nice as well.Was a bit upset when trying to park in garage upon my arrival, since I hadn't checked in yet I couldn't get in the gate! Had to have attendee tracked down to let us in.

This Hotel was a wonderful find in Louisville. It was close to many great restaurants and walking distance to many attractions. The breakfast was one of the best we have had. The staff was kind and informative. Our microwave(looked brand new) did not work and it was quickly replaced. Will stay again and highly recommend

This is a wonderful hotel in downtown Louisville. I stayed here while my husband was having surgery at a nearby hospital. The night before his surgery the shuttle driver took us to whereever we wanted to go as a courtesy and the shuttle to and from the hospital was a lifesaver. If I had anything negative to say about this hotel it would be that I had […] to pay $10 to park there, but I think that is probably done at every downtown hotel. This hotel is also close to all downtown attractions if you are interested such as 4th Street Live, KFC Yum Center and Louisville Slugger Field.
