I stayed on a Wednesday night and found this place to be a great value. The front desk person was friendly and the room was very comfortable. There were very minor maintenance problems with the room that were immediately fixed. The location was perfect for my needs, but it may not be for some people. For example, if you are interested in going to Taipa Island, it will take a long time because of the distance and heavy traffic. There is a free hotel shuttle bus service to the ferry (where you can take free shuttle buses to other casinos) and to the nearby China border city of Zhuhai. My only major criticism of the hotel is with this shuttle service. Some of the shuttle buses seat only 16 people (a few buses in the system are larger but you will not know when these buses are scheduled). Once I was in line when there were more than 16 people waiting - getting on the bus became a competitive sport. Also, there is very limited luggage storage space. The shuttle bus situation is not a deal breaker but is something to be aware of.

Very nicely appointed even with remote operated window curtains and curtains between the bathroom and bedroom! Shower was great. Comfortable, clean and large room and great swimming pool. Convenient/walkable but located in an old area of town that some may not prefer to walk through. Friendly staff. Would have liked free internet, at least in the business office!

Reviewed by M of USA on Oct 4, 2009
The hotel is very cozy and roomy, except with a little uncomfortable issue, which is it does not have electrical outlet for the hairdryer, hence I had to dry my hair on bed without a mirror. The hotel is within walking distance to the ruin of St. Paul gate and shopping and restaurant area. The only shortage of service the hotel should provide to its guest is airport bus shuttle service. the hotel only provide free shuttle service from and to ferry terminal. Overall, the hotel is comfy and the sfaff is polite and helpful. recommended.

Reviewed by Chris of Hermosa Beach on Sep 16, 2009
The quality of this hotel was wonderful. From desk service superb (they helped with ferry tickets, anything we required). The rooms great, modern and comfortable. Only one restaurant for this great hotel and service there below expectations. Too bad no formal restaurant matching hotel quality. Casino at hotel is not western standard and appeared dingy, smokey, and not someplace you would spend time gambling if you enjoy venues like Vegas.

Hotel was very nice and had great service. The only thing I didn't like much was the location. It was towards the end of where the life was happening. A good 15 min. walk down to the other Casinos. So if you don't mind walking and being away from the fun stuff, this would be your hotel. There was not much clubs or bars. The only place we drank was inside the Hotel cafe. Which had I would say the best rates during happy hour. The prices of food was very reasonable. Overall, very good place for the price.

I was totally impressed by the time I stepped inside our room. The size of the room is huge. They pay attention to every minute detail, every corner is clean as if the room has never been occupied. They also got retractable shades on the window and the see-thru bathroom wall. The bathtub has its own LCD TV, separate from the shower stall. The shower and the toilet each have heavy glass doors. To top them all are the 50inch LCD TV, the goose down blankets and pillows, the no-cheap furnitures, etc. I've stayed many times at Four Seasons, but with all due respect, I found way better at Sofitel Pointe 16. My praises just goes on and on.
