Good hotel...the area wasn't the greatest but if you have transportation you're not far from civilization...also not far from a great breakfast joint...Nathan's Ridge...try it. The Red Velvet Pancakes are awesome.

The hotel staff were all helpfuland friendly. The breakfast supplied many choices and the attendent was always ready to resupply as needed. The pool is small but perfect size and depth for our grandsons to enjoy. Quiet location. Resturants a short drive.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It is a quick, straight drive to downtown Buffalo. My only complaint would be that there is not much insulation in the walls so you can hear everything. If you are a light sleeper, take some earplugs! Other than that, I would recommend this hotel!

I'm used to being disappointed in hotels, but this time my wife and I were surprised to see how nice and clean the hotel was. The outside, lobby, and rooms were all impressive. No trace of smoky smell in the room. Comfortable bed and nice shower.

Receptionist was not that friendly when I arrived to check-in. I was a few hours early and she did not like that I was there early, but still gave me room keys. The room they gave me was right next to the staircase and an exit door. So, we heard people going up and down stairs and the door slamming all night. I had to stay in Buffalo for a week for my job and this was the cheapest hotel I could find in the Buffalo area. The hotel itself is along lake Erie but it is across the road and there are old abandoned warehouses across the street meaning you can’t really see the lake. There are no nearby restaurants (meaning within walking distance) and there is not […] really a neighborhood feel to the place. It sits as a lone sentinel near Lake Erie. If you look hard enough there is a mall and shopping area about five miles away with a lot of different food places and entertainment. The hotel itself is very nice. It is also new, built in 2007. It has a pool but I did not get to partake in that. The rooms were clean and very nice and it had a refrigerator and microwave in it. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. The staff were friendly and the area is quiet. Breakfast is a bit above the norm and includes a waffle maker. There are other standard breakfast options like cereal, muffins, toast etc. The breakfast area was always crowded and I ended up eating it in my room every day except once. For the size of the hotel there are not enough tables to sit everyone at breakfast. If you are looking for a nice, safe place to stay and do not care that it sits alone in a somewhat desolate area, then this is a great hotel to stay. Read more
