"Protea Cairo Rd great stay esp if close to"
Esp if close to where you need to be Friendly staff. Available very nice shuttle Excellent breakfast Very nice large newly updated room Internet wifi included and worked well Would not hesitate to stay here again Booking on hotels.Com worked flawlessly as did my request to be picked up at airport at 1Am

"Going through Renovations"
Please note that while I was staying at this hotel it was going through major renovations. It was extremely dusty as they were buffing all the marble floors and things were a bit outdated but it was clear they were fixing this. Overall I did actually like the hotel. Not the best location, but there was a good place to eat a kabob a bit down the road […] called Halawi - you can walk during the day, but not advised at night. Read more
"Hotel down town Lusaka"
Very friendly staff at this newly renovated hotel down town Lusaka. Not the most comfortable hotel I stayed in, but staff helpful. Down town surroundings, didn't experience it - a bit shady. Protea hotel at Arcades should be the better option close to shopping mall.
"Hotel down town"
I stayed four nights at this newly renovated hotel down town Lusaka. Very helpful and friendly staff! The room I stayed in was newly renovated a heavy smell of paint in hallway and room. It's very basic: ok bed and bathroom. We tried the buffet dinner twice and it was good food. Breakfast was OK. For our purpose this hotel was located on the "wrong […] side" of town, many taxi trips and traffic jam. If going to Lusaka make sure you know where you will be going to avoid too many and long taxi trips. Not too far away from the hotel, approx. 8 min taxi fare, is the Manda Hill shopping center western style we you can find a big variety of shops. Read more

"Do not book more then a day if your schedule is..."
You better not book more then one day if you are on bussiness. i booked total 27days include my collegue. and suddenly my schedule changed for condition of bussiness trip. then it is impossible to get refund from the site.

"Hotel Protea Cairo à Lusaka"
Beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité de service + impossible de réserver plus d'une nuit ==>> je suis allé à 100m dans un autre hotel de qualité équivalente (quelques +, quelques -) pour moitié prix pour mes 2 autres nuits à Lusaka
