The room was small but clean. Amenities are few, but staff is courteous and friendly. The room did not include an iron and ironing board, but they are available to be checked out from the front desk. Continental breakfast offered is adequate. The outdoor pool was dirty and grimy, not suitable to be used.

It worked well for my husband and I during a short two day stay. It was the most reasonably priced place in town, everything was clean and worked well, and the staff were friendly. My only complaint was that the blankets seemed kind of old and worn-out, but we brought our own blanket so that was fine. I would stay here again : )!

Very clean and nice motel, will stay there again. Good if you want to spend the evening in Santa Barbara but dont want to pay the rates there... furniture was a bit old fashioned but well maintained.

This was our first stay at a Super 8. Given the generally high expense of staying in the Santa Barbara/Goleta area, this was a good option for us. In the past, we booked a hotel in Buellton. There were no frills here, but the location was perfect and the staff very respectful and friendly. Next time we visit, we plan to stay at Super 8 again.

First off, we were put in one of their largest room. I didn't even know Super 8 had rooms this big! 2 queen beds, couch, chair, coffee table, huge bath, refrigerator and a walk-in closet! Not your normal budget hotel room to be sure. Beds were a bit soft, sheets a bit rough but overall the room was a delightful surprise.

The room was LOUD - planes, traffic, people running up and down the hallway night and early morning. We were offered a rollaway but it was impossible for a person over 100 pounds to sleep on. The hotel is clean enough and centrally located at a busy intersection. The bed is small, and the pillows are not great. The walls are thin. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's not that cheap for what you get, but ok compared to most places in the area.

Very run down and shabby exterior, but inside hardwood floors were very clean, bed was clean and comfortable, very nice tv with hbo, nice space for laptop with free wi-fi and a very nice comfortable chair for relaxing. For the area, the price and the purpose of our stay, the hotel was quite adequate. The "breakfast" area was quite small, but the continental breakfast was just that. No protein offerings whatsoever, not even peanut butter for the bagels, although cream cheese and butter were available. Pool was pleasing and clean. It's a fine enough place for the cost. Close to the 101 freeway to get about, and close to the airport. Temperature for the morning shower fluctuates a bit too much for my taste. A couple of good restaurants within walking distance, and the Mercury bar just a block away is a cool hipster hangout.

This is a solid budget hotel. The staff members were wonderful - very friendly and eager to help. The hotel itself is an old-style motel but things are kept very clean. It was better than I expected. There was good wifi, manicured landscaping, a nice pool and picnic area as well. Only negative was that the bathroom fan was very loud and light switches were motion detection activated and deactivated (lights turned on and off when you did not want them to).

I did not expect the Super 8 to be so nice...IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. Really a gem. The only thing was the shower hot/cold water during the shower was inconsistent. There were times the hot would get hot and the cold would get cold during your shower. Otherwise, very pleasant stay.

It was a clean no frills hotel close to college campus and Isla Vista. The bed was a little hard but in general served our needs well. Please note only accept a room on the 3rd floor if you are able to climb 3 flights of stair. The elevator seems to be permanently broken...

This motel is grossly overpriced! Yes the room was clean, but the bed and pillows were much too soft, the layout was cramped and the view was of industrial buildings. For the cost there should have been a queen bed, not a double. It's a cheap motel as best. Find some place else if you can.
