The Hotel was located in a great spot, close to Everbank Field where we were going. Hotel staff was friendly, rooms were clean. There is a train somewhere close by tho cause i heard its horn blowing at 3am, and if you get hungry there is not much around for food options(unless you want Ruth Chris Steak House across the street $$$$). This chain has always been a good value with their kitchens and good locations. Now that they are updating many of their locations, I would definitely recommend them. I have large work crews that work in different locations for a week at a time, and these are a great choice.

I have been to numerous cheap hotels across the country, and if I have to return to Jacksonville I would stay here without hesitation. Don't get me wrong, it's not the Ritz-Carlton, but considering the price it was more than I would ask for. The desk staff was always available, the room was spacious with a new LCD TV and DID NOT smell like old smoke, […] the AC/heat unit was modern and quiet (one of the best hotel HVAC units i've seen) the neighborhood was great with cheap European food and a brewery within a mile. Close to downtown. Well-lit parking lot. Coffee and iron/board in room. I have only one bone to pick, and that is with the free wifi internet. They throttle the speed so it's as slow as AOL dialup and then offer you a faster internet for a fee. That's a little sly of them. Read more

Hotel was newly renovated and very clean. This was an excellent hotel for the money. We had a very comfortable stay. The location is incredible too- there is a Skyway stop just behind the hotel to take you into downtown. The water taxi is also just next door and there are a number of places to eat within walking distance- a few are just next door. The room was very clean in fact it was the cleanest we have been to in quite some time. We leave the kids at home and have a romantic get away once a month and this was one of the best that we have been to here in town. We will definitely be going back!

The staff members were both on the phone for about 20 and neither of them waited on us for that entire time. The woman checking us in claimed that she had to make sure that the room was clean for us, which I'm assuming should already have been taken care of before we arrived. You get what you pay for. July 4th was my birthday and fireworks are a must see. We literally stayed a 7 minute walk down the street from the pier where the firework show took place on the river. I was using this hotel because of it's location and the price. I was told by someone from the hotel that we can check in early 9am because we already paid for the room through expedia.
